The Allandale cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Special touches, such as the sunhat and towel laid out for those who might want to sit in the small but comfortable outdoor space, were appreciated. The space is much bigger than it looks in photos. Host was very helpful.

I loved my stay! I was close to all my favorite Austin places. The property is also close to MoPac which makes traveling to other parts of Austin SUPER easy. The coffee and beverages were a welcoming touch. Highly recommend!

There are lots of 5 star qualities to this place. #1 on the list is Mike. Super nice, helpful and friendly. #2 is the neighborhood. It’s quiet and safe. #3 it’s convenient to anything related to the UT campus and Loop 1 is just a couple of blocks away. The downsides are not deal killers, but better to be aware than get surprised #1 is the bathroom is small and the shower is tiny but it all works great. #2 The efficiency is at the back of Mike’s garage so when they leave at 8:00 in the morning, you will hear the car doors slam so don’t plan to sleep in. There would have been a 3rd negative but as I was leaving Mike pulled in with a new 50” TV to replace the small one that has been there. Overall it probably should not be a 5* quality place, but people matter and if I needed something, I would sure feel good knowing Mike is there and available.

Nice option for staying in Central Austin. We found Mike’s place was as he described it and he was a very gracious host. Location is great for me, close to downtown and convenient for my business further north. I will coming back to Austin and would stay there again. Mike

This was such a great experience. The location was amazing: close enough to all the action but a quiet neighborhood to come back to after long days of exploring. Mike was kind and communicative. The space was clean and comfy. It was wonderful!!

The space is very comfortable, well thought out, and a little bit eclectic,, like things in Austin should be! Mike was absolutely great to work with. Very attentive and friendly. Kitchen space was small but very well designed.with high quality accessories. Love it.

The place is clean and spacious with everything anyone could need for an extended stay ... including a washer and dryer. Pleasantly stocked with coffee and treats. The private patio and grill is a nice plus too.

This is our second time staying at Michael’s guest house and we always enjoy our stay. Michael is a great host and is very accommodating. Looking forward to our next getaway to Austin!

The cottage was perfect place to stay! With room to have have family stop by, we enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, quiet and clean!

This place is in a nice quiet neighborhood and easy to get to. It had everything we needed. It was a short drive to the Texas sporting events we attended.

The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. They had things that weren’t necessary but made the stay so wonderful, like cold beverages in the fridge and coffee. Highly recommend this location

This was a nice quiet and convenient location to stay while visiting family in town and was short drive to parks and amenities. We had no problem finding parking on the street and it was a safe neighborhood.

My partner and I stayed here while we were in town for about a week for a work trip and some events. The place was awesome for us and felt like a little home away from home. Both of us were able to work there remotely during the week with no issues. The place was clean and cozy, and Mike was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. We will definitely book here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! Mike was really nice. He provided everything we needed to grill dinner with our adult kids, who live in Austin. The suite was really clean and the bed linens were super soft. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We were grateful to be able to stay within walking distance of my mother’s nursing care facility. The place was cozy and comfortable with easy driving access to other locations around Austin.
