This was our second stay at this home. It was an absolutely perfect stay. Clean, Cozy, Well-stock with necessities. Location is perfect and in a peaceful setting. The Home is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained.

Location is perfect and near the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Short drives to West Jefferson and Boone. Lock code for door makes arriving and entering easy! The home is beautiful. The surrounding area is total quiet and generally nothing is heard except the sounds of nature. Sit quietly on the back porch and you'll most likely see deer and other wildlife crossing the property. Pet friendly makes this a perfect spot for us since we have two small elderly dogs that no longer deal well with separation and relatives dropping by to care for them when left at home alone..

Someone had a spill on the oven and it had not been cleaned. After pre-heating and opening the door to put our meal in, the house began to fill with smoke. We had to take measures quickly to keep from setting off fire alarms. Dishes left in dishwasher appeared to be washed but not put away.
