The main level of this charming abode features a bright living room with a gas stove and a flatscreen TV with cable, the perfect spot to unwind to your heart's content after a day of skiing or hiking. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials to whip up everything from quick snacks on the go, fulfilling breakfasts, or savory full-course meals. If you'd like to step mealtime up a notch, the gas grill will be the answer. Sliders from the kitchen lead out to a spacious deck from which you can hear the East Branch river just across the street. What's nearby: With this location, you'll be less than three miles from the quaint Story Land, two and a half miles from the White Mountain National Forest, and across the street from a swimming area on the river. Winter visitors can take their pick between skiing at Attitash (less than six miles away) or Cranmore (five and a half miles away). This cabin would be great for college kids to crash at over a ski weekend.
The location was convenient to the quaint town and nice hikes.
The cabin itself lacked in cleanliness, and we had issues with the functionality of heat and the water draining in the shower.

Not inpressed at all. The company gave me the code to the lock that didnt work at all. No service in the area so had to drive to town to call finally got the correct number. The place is dirty cobwebs that have been there a few years in the corners on the floor and ceiling.thw pictures had dust on them very thick

Cozy, comfortable. Smart lock did not work and had to get phone service to get in. Other than that, all good!

Trash barrel was full from a previous guest. Bear enjoyed throughly. Bad timing. You get what you pay for. Beats any hotel or motel though. Instructions for TV would be nice instead of notes everwhere about not leaving the lights on outside.

The location and cottage itself were great. The bathroom could use a little work and was a bit tight but overall, the place was great and we loved our stay here. The fact they allow dogs was an added bonus and we would stay here again for sure.

overall the cottage was in nice condition except the shower could use an update. The pictures of the yard I felt were deceiving maybe outdated because there is no yard to speak of yard and it is poorly maintained. The lake or water hole that is mentioned its too dangerous for most to try to get to because there are so many rocks near there

We loved being across the street from the river and swimming hole. It was so close to story land and downtown North Conway. The kitchen was great for eating at home and we enjoyed being able to bring our dog.

The kitchen had all you need to cook, reheat, and store food with a spacious fridge, oven, and microwave, and plenty of room to sit at a table. Cozy, comfortable living room area and great bedroom and bathroom setup as well. We hope to return again!

Sunbeam Cottage
This cottage was really cute! Fit everyone comfortably. We had a great time other than the code to get into the front door never working so we had to use the emergency code the entire weekend. Also when we arrived the hose and other random extension cords where all over the stairs and in the walk way, which is dangerous when you have kids running around like we did. The bathroom wasn't as clean as we wanted it to be, whoever cleaned the cottage last rolled up a used, dirty bath mat covered in dead skin and placed it on the shelves with clean towels. Aside from a few disappointments the cottage was cute and we had a great time after we cleaned a bit.

Amazing location
Close to everything North Conway has to offer without feeling that way! The River across the street was amazing and my husband was able to fish :) very cute little cottage!! These things didn’t really bother us as were easy going people, but the check in access code did not work so we had to call the property manager, he answered and was pleasant and gave us a code that worked :). The indoor fireplace didn’t seem to work and the roof above was leaking a bit, not a huge deal but would have been nice to use! Was a great weekend!!!

This cottage is just close enough to North Conway center and the settlers green, while being far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. There is a river across the street that is great to play at with the kids or just enjoy the sounds of nature!

Heaven
Very well equipped, clean and comfortable and the staff was personable and helpful. I’d love to make this a yearly trip staying in the same house. Loved every single minute of it. Thanks so much for a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

Property close to activities. Well heated and insulated. Had all tools needed to cook.

Great Base Camp
Stayed at the property for a weekend of skiing. Home was as advertised, great spot if you're looking for a place to rest in between adventures. With three adults and one pup, the space was just what we needed, but it may be a little tight for a group larger than ours or a group that plans to spend most of the time inside. Great central location to all that the Mount Washington Valley has to offer. Would be happy to stay again!

Beautiful cabin
The cabin is exactly that. Very close quarters compared to the cost. The home is situated in a great place in the area for food and activities. Just prior to us arriving we learned that the owner had just completed the grouting in the kitchen area. Which would have been great except that he/she didn’t have the time to clean it properly. There was lots of grout aggregate on the floor and dust all over. Saying all of this, the home really is great, just poor timing. I hope the owner is able to continue renting this beautiful home! Good luck!

Convenient and beautiful little cabin.
Overall the experience was easy and convenient we definitely enjoyed us the cabin was well-prepared for us the only thing that I would say is the shower needs updated and the window in the shower is uncomfortable

Convenient location
The home was just the right size for us and in a very quiet neighborhood. It was really very serene at this rental. I perhaps misunderstood that there was washer and dryer on the premises. There were cobwebs hanging from the woodwork around the front windows but that is the only complaint I have. The people were easy to communicate with and the home more than met our needs. Thank you for making this rental available to us. One of our best-ever vacations!

great rental but not secluded
This was a great little rental and the booking/check-in/out process was all incredibly smooth and well organized. My kids loved running across to play in the river- it was hours of fun for them whenever we weren't out hiking and exploring the many nearby sights. My only gripe is that the listing pictures make the property deceptively appear large and secluded. In reality the front and back yards are very small and the property directly abuts neighbors on both sides. We were looking for something secluded and were dismayed to find that was not the case.

Cozy and simple cottage in Bartlett
- Good location for hiking and skiing (about 25 minutes from Mount-Washington Pinkham Notch visitor centre).
- Small, cozy and simple cottage, well equiped.
- We recommend the cottage, but much more expensive than mentioned initially on website.
- Many fees were added to this rental which augmented the price (including a garbage fee which was not reimbursed even though we brought back our trash, a VRBO fee that was not mentioned initially and added to the credit card. We saved about 50$ by chosing to bring our own sheets (by opting out of the linen fee), but be sure to bring dish towels, cloths and hand towel as none were provided.

Great location, cozy , roomy and clean!
This house was just what we were looking for! The beds were very comfortable, the house was roomy and clean, the location for skiing at all our activities was perfect! Loved the fire stove, made it warm and cozy in the big living room! The kitchen was well equipped.

We very much enjoyed this cabin as our home base! Very close to hiking and North Conway, comfortable, and toasty warm with the gas fire going! If it had been warm enough, we would have loved to sit outside on the deck and listen to the river across the street. We're already planning our next trip!

Our family of 4 adults stayed here after Christmas. It was small, which is ok as long as you have some place to sit, but there was no comfortable seating for more than 2 people. Perhaps we paid a premium for the holiday, but we were not happy with the amenities we received for the price. In addition there was a linen fee and you still had to make your own beds, and a garbage fee and you still had to transport your garbage bags to the transfer station which had limited hours. I will say the property was clean, and despite the bitter cold we were very warm inside.
