We spent Thanksgiving week at Summit's End and it was perfect for our party of 10.
Being situated high on a mountain at the end of the road provided stunning scenery. Some days we were literally above the clouds! Treat yourself to this gem; you won’t be disappointed!

Cabin was well maintained and the view was better than the photos presented. The host was easy to get a hold of and the drive up wasn’t that bad even with it being a single lane near the top. Only issue we had was the beds are all small. I’m 6 foot 220 athletic and couldn’t sleep in the same bed as my wife. It would have been great to have at least a queen size bed somewhere. Other than that we would rent again. Being close to downtown Sylva ans Dillsboro was the small town feel we were looking for.

Summit’s End was perfect for a fall trip to see color. The cabin has a multilayered Mountain View that is beautiful whatever the weather. We loved our stay here and we’re very comfortable.

The cable was out. Could not get anyone out there until Sept 7Wewere told to watch Netflix or such but ran out of data. Keep restarting. Got 10% cash back but missed catching up with the news with morning coffee and watching favorite shows.

The cabin had everything we needed and lots of space for our family of six . The cabin was easy to find and access. From morning' till night the view of the mountains is spectacular. The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. The road up to the house is a small narrow road . We managed to get up in a mini van with no problem. The Wi-Fi works great at the cabin so we always set our GPS before leaving the cabin. We really enjoyed our visit.

The cabin had everything we needed and lots of space for our family of six . The cabin was easy to find and access. From morning' till night the view of the mountains is spectacular. The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. The road up to the house is a small narrow road . We managed to get up in a mini van with no problem. The Wi-Fi works great at the cabin so we always set our GPS before leaving the cabin. We really enjoyed our visit.

Incredible Sunset Views & Star Gazing
We enjoyed staying at the Summit's End this past week. Saw shooting stars, sunsets and enjoyed hiking. The location is isolated so it took some planning on food/activities - but we definitely had a blast. Thanks!

Loved this property at the top of the hill. If you aren’t used to mountain roads this may not be the place for you but we loved the trek up and down the hill. Lovely views. Comfortable furniture and beds. Plenty of space for our family to spread out with 2 living rooms and loads of porch space.

Pros: Views were amazing. Beds were very comfortable. It was well stocked and very clean. The property was private and not able to see any other houses around. Their was a fire pit outside and hot tub we enjoyed. The porches were all really nice and a gas grill to use as well. The kitchen had all the appliances and pots and pans we needed. The host was very responsive during our stay. My girls enjoyed having the lower level to themselves and loved the fireplace down there. The owners have thought of most everything we could need during our stay. The loft main suite had lots of room and the views were amazing. It was wonderful waking up to the mountain sunrise every morning. The cabin is in a great location with lots to do in the area. The town of Sylva and Dillsboro are very cute with lots of shopping and eating. We also drove to several waterfalls and hiking trails during our stay.
Cons: The drive up to the house was paved but very steep with hairpin turns and only one lane. But our van did fine. It also gets very warm in the house, which is good in the cold, but the loft where the master bedroom is gets very warm. I opened windows and ran the fan. And because it is a loft bedroom it is open and I could hear everyone on main floor talking and the tv sounds.
Overall a very nice stay and I would stay there again.

Summits End
Fantastic views! Cozy cabin feel with lots of room to spread out and enjoy. Well stocked kitchen and a great fenced backyard for the pups! The town is cute and easy to get to. Great spot for family and friends to make some memories.

Great escape with a great view!
We enjoyed our stay at Summit's End! It was a great home base for hiking and exploring the nearby mountains. The hot tub was particularly nice to come back to at the end of the day. We loved being able to bring our dog as well!
The house was well equipped, including a great set of knives in the kitchen if you are cooking. This isn't always the case in vacation rentals, so I bring one of my preferred chopping knives now, and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to unpack it! We also appreciated having a Pack 'n Play and highchair for our little one. It is always nice not to have to bring those things. The one thing that would have made it even better is a baby gate (like one of those position and lock/pressure gates) for the stairs going down from the main level. We made it work though.
The only other thing of note is that the screen door from the downstairs deck is missing. The piece along the hinge is there, but the rest is missing. There weren't any bugs for us, so it wasn't a big deal, but the deck is not entirely screened in.
Also, just as an FYI, the road driving up to the house is one car wide, steep at parts, and gravel for a bit at the end. We luckily never had to maneuver around a passing car, but it could get tricky!
Overall though a lovely place and one we would happily go back to in the future. Thanks for sharing your space with us!

Three 50+ ladies enjoyed our stay here during the end of October 2020 for a few nights. The view of the hills, valley floor and colorful foliage off the porch was wonderful. The view from inside was nice from the two double glass doors but unfortunately, the large, middle window was fogged between the glass panes so the view was distorted in the middle of the living area. The bedrooms were comfortable the kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub is a nice plus. The road up is winding, narrow and steep but our SUV made it just fine. Write down the directions through the neighborhood to the cabin incase your GPS is not cooperating and the fog is heavy. We had a fun stay!

Awesome location
The cabin has an amazing view and is very private for a mountain getaway. The kitchen is very well stocked with all kinds of utensils, pots, pans, and everything you need to cook. Beds were comfortable as was most of the furniture. This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever had and I highly recommend it.
