Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this one-level design features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Accessible without stairs. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 3 flat-screen TVs, 3 DVDs, Wifi. Sea Colony - The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community - features a half mile of private beach, 12 pools (2 indoor), world class tennis, fitness centers, activities for all ages, community shuttle and year-round security. Sea Colony is ranked among Tennis magazine's Best U.S. Resorts and by Tennis Resorts Online as one of the finest in the world. THINGS TO KNOW Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available. Note: The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory. There will be construction in a neighboring building from September 11, 2023 - mid-May 2024. There will be noise, but the vacation rental will be accessible at all times. Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle. This rental is located on floor 8. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We went in late April when the colony was below capacity, but the ocean water was too cold to venture in. Luckily my two teenage boys were content with basking in the sun on the beach and playing soccer while using the indoor heated pool right next to Dover house in the adjacent building as the substitute.

We enjoyed our stay! How could you not enjoy yourself being right on the beach. Now’ll our issues. The WiFi was very weak especially on the balcony. Stained carpets and we had to keep our shoes on because the floors needed to be cleaned so our feet would turn black.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The view is great from the large balcony, living room and master bedroom. The unit itself is bigger than it seems in the photos. As others have mentioned it is a bit dated - a new couch and some updates to the kitchen would go a long way, but it was clean and otherwise pretty cozy. The master bed was more comfortable than expected with a memory foam topper. The private beach with Sea Colony was wonderful and still pretty empty in late April.

The condo at sea colony was amazing! The views were the absolute best. We couldn’t get any closer to the beach in Bethany. We came during the off season and felt like we had the entire facility to ourselves. Pros: Excellent location Comfortable king bed Comfortable living room kitchen furniture Tv and wifi worked like a charm Easy access, check in and out Covered parking Dated but comfortable and uncluttered surroundings Great shower pressure Kitchen amenities Extra blankets pillows Near walkable to favorite restaurant (Finns) SO clean Cons: Ceiling tiles in kitchen coming apart - easily fixable Shower curtain liner needed to be replaced Would we come here again? Our family had a great stay! The location was perfect, the condo had all of the necessary amenities and was much larger in person than we expected based on the pictures. It was perfect for us and our three young kids. It was great to be able to walk to the beach and switch between the beach and the pool easily. Can’t wait to come back again!

This property was perfect for us. I loved seeing the ocean from the living and dining rooms. Sitting on the balcony and looking at the ocean was very relaxing. The property was clean and nicely furnished. Everyone was respectful about wearing masks and keeping social distance. I would stay here again!

Perfect location, great social distancing

Sea Colony did a great job with the social distancing. Everyone wore masks on the elevator, one family on the elevator at a time, masks when close together, umbrellas 10 feet apart on beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was small, but stocked with plates and cooking utensils. We would stay here again.
