About this condo rental
Introducing Captain's Quarters: A Gulf Front, 4th floor, large 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo directly on the white sand beaches at Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums. Seven night minimum rental, Sunday to Sunday is preferred but not mandatory. If less than a seven night rental is desired, please contact me if we can accommodate your request. The condo sleeps 8, updated and tastefully decorated 1470Sq ft of living space, including a large balcony facing the Gulf Coast for beautiful sunsets. The full size kitchen, dinning, living and laundry room are very spacious, not the typical condo size. Master bedroom has a King size bed, Balcony access, gulf view, ceiling fan, 32"HD Flat screen TV and large walk in closet that connects to the Master bath. Master bathroom has dual vanity sinks, walk in shower and toilet. 2nd Bedroom has two queen size beds, ceiling fan and large closet. 3rd Bedroom has a single queen size bed and large closet and a floor fan. All bedrooms have 24"HD flat screen TV's with Spectrum cable and free HBO. Hi speed wifi is included. Living room has comfortable seating, ceiling fan and a large 42"HD Flat screen TV with a Blue Ray/DVD player & Roku streaming device. Dinning Room has a large table that seats 6 and lighted bar. Kitchen counter provides four additional bar stool seats. Kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator(ice maker), full size oven/range, over the range microwave and dishwasher. Kitchen is fully stocked including a coffee maker, Keurig, blender, MP3/CD player. 2nd Bathroom has dual vanity sinks, tub/shower and toilet. Full size laundry room provides storage and a full size washer and dryer. Sand Dollar Condominiums provides a heated(all year) salt water pool, hot tub, private fishing pier, 6 tiki huts and cooking grills, all directly on the beach. Beautiful tropical landscaping adds to the beauty of the beach and gulf views. Included with your rental: all linens, towels, pack & play with sheets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas & toys. Sand Dollar is conveniently located to many restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions. Only 30 minutes from Tampa airports, 60 minutes from Bush Gardens and 90 minutes from Disney and Orlando. What a great experience! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, ocean view and beach. Conveniently located with parking with permit upon check in. The lobby staff was extremely helpful and the host had great communication. The condo was clean and welcoming. We spent Christmas here and they even had a little Christmas tree up. That made the kids feel special! We could not have pictured a better place to stay! We highly recommend and will be back!

The property was very nice, clean and well maintained. The location was great - views of the ocean were magnificent. Easy to walk to the pool, hot tub and beach. Really convenient to have such a short walk to the ocean! Lots of great restaurants nearby. Great communication with owner, as he was very responsive to questions we had in advance of travel. On-site management staff were very pleasant. We will definitely book this condo again if ever in Indian Shores in the future!

We love the area, and the Sand Dollar has become a Christmas-time tradition. Unit was well-stocked and worked great for our 3-generation gathering. We hope to be back!

We enjoyed staying here very much. i have rented many condo's on Gulf Blvd and this is one of the best! The kitchen is stocked extremely well. The washer and dryer are a Hugh plus. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable as well as the beds. Although we did not need them all the beach items that were available for us to use was awesome for someone coming in from out of town. The condo is decorated nicely. We saw dolphins swimming by and a manatee. The weather was mostly wet and chilly, but we played games and went out to eat and have adult beverages. If I was to be totally honest, the water pressure in the showers and toilets is very low. Also, the couch, and love seat need to be replaced, it is extremely difficult for anyone over 30 to get in and out.
I'd rather keep this condo my little secret but it's too good not to share with you! Can't wait to stay here again!

Both my sisters were diagnosed with cancer so we decided a much needed memory vacation was needed! This place was soothing to our souls!! Perfect location and the area has much to offer with the many great restaurants and of course just a few miles away is John’s pass!!

When we walked in, the condo was bright, roomy and beautifully decorated in every room. So many details were appointed to the theme of beach and life. The view is incredible! The sand is soft and fine.
The kids loved having their own rooms and they were so well appointed. Having ceiling fans throughout was a total plus to keep air moving as the weather was beautiful when we were there, for the most part. HVAC worked great and vents were clean with no funky smell. Having laundry washer and dryer in unit was great to keep our towels and clothes clean.
Both batrooms were spacious with double sinks. The master shower was very nice. The master had plenty of room with a bonus large walk through closet for extra storage.
The kitchen was loaded with everything that we needed. From spaghetti to braised chicken and rice the large pots and Dutch oven was great. The bar area and fridge were a bonus to keep the adult setup seperate.
Such a personal touch and feel made us feel so comfortable spending our time there. Really feels like the family is sharing their home with us. We are already looking forward to our time next year. Thank you Greg.

We have stayed at Captains Quarters before and absolutely loved the place. Family of 8 ranging from 10 to 75. The only complaint is that the building is not completely non-smoking. The smell of both cigarette and marijuana smoke was sometimes overwhelming and several times we were forced inside away the fabulous million dollar sunset view. Several people at the pool were also complaining. The board should consider prohibiting smoking on the balconies. This will definitely affect out decision to re-rent this place next year. Such a shame because otherwise it was perfect. (Several in our family have serious health issues.)

The "Captain's Quarters" condo itself was very nice, absolutely as advertised. Clean, comfortable, great amenities, beautiful views, etc. Our only complaint is that it seemed that many of the rules regarding behavior at the pool, not reserving tables, guests wearing wristbands so you know who's there is supposed to be there, quieting down after the outside lights are turned off, were not enforced. But again, the condo itself was fantastic.

This property was just as it was advertised. It was a very family friendly condo, that suited our every need. We are a family that likes to cook and bake, and the kitchen was well stocked with the littlest teaspoon to the largest soup pot. It was well maintained throughout, and it was apparent that the owner's biggest concern was their guests having a good time. We had a GREAT time, and can't wait to stay again sometime in the future.

Condo had everything you’d ever need for your stay. Grocery and entertainment venues were close by. A trolley went up and down the Blvd. all day which was convenient. John’s Pass is a must to visit for shopping and meals. Property and beach were beautiful. Grandson loved the pool as well. Will definitely visit this area again.

The view off the balcony was perfect anytime of day or night... The beach & water was perfect. We look forward to visting during our next family vacation.

We chose this for the gulf water since Sanibel destruction. It was a little busy for us. Location to beach, pool and restaurants was great!

We loved the views from the balcony! Being so close to the beach was everything. Kitchen had everything we needed (Keurig coffee maker, pots and pans, dishwasher, etc.) Property is as represented in listing. Thank you very much for the lovely stay at the beach!

Owner and resort property management staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location great! Saw 2 dolphins and pelicans daily from our balcony and walking on hard surface to the sandy beach made life easier for us. Would rent this property again and gladly recommend.

The condo was easy to rent online. Communication between us and the owner and condo personnel was great. Since our flight was delayed by the hurricane and we didn’t get in until after check-in hours, a package left in a lockbox contained all keys and information that we would need to know. Condo and outside area was as beautiful as the pictures posted on the internet. The high deck chairs offered an uninterrupted view of the beach and Gulf. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Both the hot tub and pool were larger than most condos we have stayed at in the past. The parking was spacious and easy to get out onto Gulf Blvd. We would definitely not hesitate to rent it again or recommend it to our family or friends.

We had a great time! Everything was as good or better than expected. The high chairs on the deck were great for looking above the railing. The only one suggestion, the floor could use a good cleaning.

Amazing!
This condo exceeded our expectations. The description was spot on and the location was perfect. It was clean and updated and the owners took the time to decorate with great detail...down to the drink menu! The little touches and beautiful designs made it even more enjoyable. Having towels, chairs and beach toys was a big plus. We added with a few big buckets and shovel for some giant sandcastles on a sugary sand beach.
The condo was a beautiful and everyone at Sand Dollar was more than friendly, making this a great place for anyone to visit. I would highly recommend!

This was the perfect stay for my family of 5. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. The condo was the perfect size, the view was amazing , we loved the balcony from the master bedroom. The owners were wonderful to work with. So many shops close by. I already know we will be back! Highly recommend!
