These views are "Captivating"—you can see the waves crashing along the shoreline from the living area and the Primary bedroom. The unit is on the Southernmost end of the Turtle Dunes building, so you have lots of privacy. The beautiful pool area has the Ocean as the backdrop and was recently renovated in 2019. Showers are right near the beach walkout and very close to "TOES TOUCHING THE SAND." No LONG WALKOUT! ~~~~~~~ NO PETS OR OTHER ANIMALS OR REPTILES ARE ALLOWED Amelia Island Resort. The beautiful oceanfront setting is located on the second floor of the Turtle Dunes building, and it has easy access to stairs and an elevator. A Private balcony is great for dining with the view and sounds of the Ocean and watching sunrises. Turtle Dunes is part of the Dunes Club section of Amelia Island Plantation and has an oceanside pool and private tennis court for guest use. Amelia Island Omni Resort... offers GOLF, TENNIS Clinics, Biking, Walking Trails, and Picnic & Grilling areas. Bikes and Golf Cart rentals are available to guests. It is within minutes of the historic town of Fernandina Beach, with many shops, quaint restaurants, and a harbor with views of the "CUMBERLAND ISLAND." Amelia Island Resort. Both bedrooms have wood laminate flooring, but the condo has no carpet. The Living Room features a new comfortable L-shaped sofa with Down stuffing and wicker side Chairs. New sliding glass doors and oceanside windows provide a clear ocean view. Upgraded high-speed internet and unlimited free long-distance calling are available, as well as an intelligent streaming TV. 2 - 4 Beach Chairs are available for guests' use and are in the guest bedroom closet.

The condo was very well appointed with a large comfy couch. The beds were comfortable too. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils & an assortment of spices to use. Great view of the ocean. The grounds & pool area were extremely well kept. Easy access to the beach. We would love to visit again SOON!

we love Amelia Island we go every summer. Love the Omni plantation Resort, Turtle Dunes very nice love how close it is to the beach.
Communication with Dee the property mgr. was not good.
And
I think she over charged me so many extra fees Long list of things she wanted cleaned she even wanted me to wash towles.
I rented 2 other units on the same floor .they did not have all these fees. They also were so sweet had a gift bag of gourmet chocolates in each unit.
We needed 3 units & I wanted to be on same floor so I had no choice but to rent this one.
I do love VRBO have rented through them many times, this was my first bad experience.
Master bed was awful time to replace. The ad said only small dogs I met the people who rented this unit last year they had a big golden she said it slept in the twin bed in bedroom was not happy to hear that.

My husband and I enjoyed this condo so much! Amelia Island is so peaceful and so is this condo complex - we barely heard any other people during our stay. The pool is so lovely with waterfall features - just steps from the condo. The oceanfront views from the balcony are incredible! We will be back! Dee is a great property manager - we will rent from her on our next stay.

Beautiful location
The property was exactly like it was listed. The condo is located in the very back of the resort. The resort is large, highly recommend a golf cart to experience all the resort has to offer. The beach and pool were never crowded. The view from the condo was beautiful. Highly recommend if you are looking for a lowkey vacation rental.

Amazing property, amazing views, and Dee was a perfect host! This was our second visit at the property, the last visit August 2021. The Turtle Dunes condo is great for our family of 3. This unit was supplied with the essentials needed for a 2 week stay with items needed for laundry, dish washing, minor other cleaning needs, etc. This was the best we have seen from any unit we have ever rented and know Dee was responsible for all of this. Excellent rental. Property was in excellent condition and Dee was very responsive to a couple of items needed. We enjoyed our week at Turtle Dunes on Amelia Island. The view from the condo is fantastic and steps away from the beautiful uncrowded beach. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. The condo was very clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and living room was very comfortable and homey with lots of pillows and cozy blankets. The unit had two bedrooms, but we only used the master bedroom which had a very comfortable king size bed and great views of the ocean. The condo also has new large washer and dryer. There were plenty of bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs and even 2 bath robes were provided.
Check in process was very easy and smooth. The guard at the gate had all our information and Dee, the property manager, provided us with the door code at check in time.
The location was only about a 20 minute drive to the town of Fernandina – which had lots of shops and great restaurants. There were also other great restaurants closer to the condo/plantation.
The only disappointment was that the pool on the property was closed for renovations. The listing said the pool was recently renovated in 2019, but did not mention it was closed again for more renovations. However, Dee did allow us to use a pool at another condo complex which was about a 15 minute walk via the beach. We ended up driving to that condo when we wanted to use the pool.

Great location, great stay!
Great unit and location inside of the Omni plantation. Excellent (and prompt) communication from the property manager as well as assistance when needed. Dee even helped us get into a nearby buidling's pool while ours was being worked on.

Fabulous stay Turtle Dunes
I traveled with my spouse and 9 year old daughter. The stay was excellent! The condo was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. Beach and pool access were very easy!!!! And the ocean views were incredible!!! Dee was personable and accommodating. Beautiful place!

Great unit, great view
Dee has kept the unit very well. It has everything you can ever think of wanting. Beach towels, beach chairs, good quality shampoo, soap, conditioner, enough garbage bags and cleaners for an entire week. Kitchen has everything as well. The unit has a great view of the lawn and the ocean. So we were quite happy about that.
The master bedroom is large and airy, but the second bedroom is a little dingy - very little light.
Location has great proximity to the ocean, but it very far away from main fernandina beach that has a lot of restaurants etc. additionally - we saw a snake and two coyotes on the building property just steps away from us. So we got scared as we have a puppy and we wanted to leave as soon as possible
So I would definitely say that this property is great for humans, if you have pets.. then maybe go to main downtown fernandina beach

Beautiful and relaxing property!
This property and its management were excellent. The detailed description in the VRBO listing was perfect. Great ocean view from the balcony and easy walking access to the beach. The surrounding area inside the resort has beautiful and lush landscaping, trees and walking paths. Amelia Island is now one of our favorite stays with VRBO.

This is a very comfortable 2 bedroom 2 full bath oceanfront condo. Nicely appointed and lots of little touches to make it feel very homey. It was squeaky clean upon our arrival and there were Clorox wipes and Microban disinfectant spray for any additional cleaning we felt necessary to do with Covid. This unit truly has everything you need. We cooked many meals in the unit due to covid and I was pleasantly surprised to find all the pots/pans, baking dishes and cooking utensils I needed, even had a meat thermometer! The master bedroom is a nice size with ocean views. Two teenaged girls had no issues with room in their bedroom. The beds were all very comfortable. Plenty of towels. We brought beach towels but there were ones we could have used in the unit. There were also beach chairs to use in the unit. The ocean is a short walk from the building to a very large beach and not crowded at all. The pool is very large with lots of seating. We did not use it because the beach was what we went for, but it was nice to know it was there if we wanted to hop in! We used the tennis courts a short walk from the building which was perfect. Easy first come, first serve policy and never had to wait. Turtle Dunes is located at the end of plantation so you really feel safe, it's very quiet and nice to walk either the beach or the walking paths and streets on the property. Dee the property manager was wonderful at answering all of our questions and was only a text away if we needed anything. Definitely recommend this condo. Will miss watching the waves, the beautiful sunrises and the many pelicans flying over the ocean. Looking forward to another trip to Turtle Dunes and Amelia Island!!

Great Getaway!

We had a terrific time atTurtle Dunes in the Amelia Island Plantation. Mickey’s unit is clean and ideally located on the second floor near the stairs. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.
