Located in Waveland, this attractive house for $81 per night is a great option for your next trip. Small kitchen 3/4 bathroom Queen bed All cutely decorated with a pool right outside your front door! A short drive to the beach or to old town full of fun just right around the corner! Large yard as well and depending on the season a small garden to pick from! Excited to have you join our little town for the beach style vacation get away! We have a beautiful backyard perfect for reading a book with coffee in the mornings or swimming and drinking some beer!

Pool was dirty could not use. One review this was stated and Brooke said the vacuum was broken but had been fixed. So does that mean she didn’t bother cleaning it for my stay? Room was warm with window cooler and 3 fans going. Killed 2 (2 inch long cockroaches in the bathroom on 2nd and 3rd nights) I could not take that, i slept with the lights on hoping more cockroaches wouldn’t come out. I tried to reach the hostess 2 times with no response. I left and checked into a hotel for the next 3 nights of my vacation. I have pictures of the pool and the roaches.

We rented the "pool house"" expressly for the pool. We were not able to use the pool at all. The owner was not able to get it clean. This is the first time we have had an issue with a listed amenity. The property has great potential and hopefully the host will work out the pool issue. Upgrade the linens, replace the noisy air conditioner, manicure the backyard where the pool house is located, weather strip around the door. The property could be a great destination with upgrades.

My hubby and i stayed atvthe pool house....we got in and the only thing i wS surprised was there was no closet. We worked around that, when we got comfortable we were set for the week. With our 2 furbabies it was very relaxing enjoyable. Will definitely recommend to all.my friends!!!

Finding the owner's house in front wasn't too difficult. But understanding we were to walk through the owner's yard, through the wooden gate to the back yard, and THEN we would find the "pool house".

My wife and I have been to the Pool House twice now! The first time, we did a quick trip to Bay St. Louis for my wife’s birthday in 2021, and we recently stayed for our anniversary. My wife fell in love with the set up immediately upon walking into the little studio, and she loved the fact that we could bring our dogs (two Lab mixes) because she hates traveling without them. Brooke has been nothing but accommodating and gracious both times. A massive heatwave hit while we were on our last trip, and our dogs had finished their supply of water. We knew the restaurant we were at had dog bowls, so my wife messaged Brooke and asked where they usually kept them. Brooke went a step further and called the restaurant to make sure they brought us a dog bowl with fresh water out for both our dogs!
I know many reviews have mentioned the pool, and I will say that Brooke works to make sure the pool is usable for her guests. In fact, during our stay, she was cleaning the pool to make sure it was suitable for us to use. We have enjoyed both of our stays there, and we will be back!

We had booked it for a week and unfortunately we needed to leave 3 days early. We do want to thank Brooke for giving us a partial refund on our unused days. However, we were not sad to be leaving the property, we should have left after arriving. We were staying with our dog and planned to spend over half of our time in the shade by the pool relaxing. In the description: A large sail shade covered the patio area, the pool was blue and clean, the lawn was mowed, there was a gas grill, there is a dead bolt lock, and emergency phone numbers. In reality: the shade sail was gone, the pool was a tan color with visible sediment -3 days later it was green, the law hadn't been mowed for a while as the tallest weed were as high as our shins, the gas grill was replaced with a charcoal grill with no charcoal, the deadbolt was on the door but the hole in the frame was plugged shut. In the walkway from the car to the room there are a lot of weeds & I dug up poison ivy that was growing alongside the stepping stones for obvious reasons. The poor window a/c unit worked hard and loud 24/7. A cockroach over 2" crawling on the bathroom wall in the middle of the night. The only umbrella/shade blew out of the table and shattered leaving us with no shade at all. While setting (legs only) in the pool we could see that this property has amazing potential but needs to be maintained if going to be open for guests.
I took pictures of it all to document if needed and to prove we left it clean.

If I didn't bring my dogs, I would have cancelled the reservation by the second day. The cleanliness would have to be my biggest complaint. It seemed like every day I would find one or two things that the "cleaning lady" had missed. Immediately I saw above the entry way door what I can't even decide what it was, a brown splatter that looked like a chaw spit. I sent a picture to the host, and it wasn't cleaned. The bathroom mirror was dirty. I told the host the shower head was broken and it was basically coming out like a hose, nothing was done about it. One of the towels had some greasy oily yellowish substance, that I thankfully found before using it. The dog of the host was left outside one afternoon and barked at my dogs while we were by the pool for about an hour(I gave the dog water because it had none). There was a booger on the bathroom wall next to the toilet. There are no lights guiding you once you get through the fence and have to walk to the pool house. The deciding factor for writing this review was the last night after I got out of the shower I found a pair of men's underwear in between the bathroom wall and vanity, needless to say they were not mine as I am a woman and wear only women's underwear. They did vacuum the pool when I asked after it rained one day.

We walked in and walked out! The pool was filthy and there was NO privacy at all! We were literally in someone’s very small backyard! The advertisement was not a true vision of the experience offered . We did not want to pay for “The Neighborhood Pool!”

Our stay in at Bay St. Louis
The property was safe and quiet and worked out perfect for us and our two dogs . I don't like staying at hotels so this was just what we were looking for. We had our privacy and it was off the main street. The yard was plenty big to walk our dogs around. All in all we had a very pleasant stay, and we would stay there again if we need to go back in the future

There is a lot of potentiel in the property unfortunately it’s not well maintained. It’s in serious need of deep cleaning (AC filter, under the sink cabinet, fridge…)
I would suggest to review the description for the sleeping arrangements: there is one queen bed and a tiny couch that is not convertible with no sheet. I requested sheets for my son as I don’t think it is very sanitary to sleep on a couch where everyone sits without sheets. But again it has lots of potential. It is very great to use the pool (not super clean also).

Great Stay
Perfect spot for my wife, my 8-yr old granddaughter and myself. Just the right amount of room for the three of us. Brooke stayed in touch with us throughout the stay to ensure we didn't need anything. Even dropped off a couple of umbrellas for us when rain came. Quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Use of the pool an added bonus.

Cute Pool House
We enjoyed our stay at Brookes pool house. This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The pool was nice and the backyard is fenced in which was perfect for our pup. Every time I reached out to Brooke she responded within minutes and was helpful. The only con was that it was challenging for us to find an Uber/Lyft. Thanks for having us!!

A friend and I decided to have a girl's beach weekend and found this listing which seemed perfect for us. It was as cute as the photos in the listing show and a very easy drive to the beach. We especially loved the pool as our first beach day was very windy , so being able to go back and relax in a quiet calm pool was wonderful! It has a spacious refrigerator, nice microwave and Keurig coffee maker (with pods provided) for your basic kitchen needs. There was a bit of a snafu with a termite swarm (a nasty Southern thing) but it won't deter us from renting from Brooke again in the future!

White murky. Pool pump not running so no jets no filter no chlorine tablet. Appears they just dumped a bunch of bleach in pool before we got there. Heavy bleach smell. No clear path to house had to tromp through mud every time we went in or out of the house. Huge piles of dog poop all over the yard and right outside our front door! And to take the cake at 9pm the kids who are inhabiting the main house start blinking the outdoor lights signaling us to go inside! What?! 15 minutes later they turn them off completely leaving us in pitch black.

Brooke is Awesome!
I had a wonderful stay and was mostly there for rest & relaxation and to use the pool with a friend. Brooke is a great host. She’ll leave you alone unless you want to chat. She’s just a super cool, fascinating person. She’ll take care of any needs you have. She even heated the pool for us when there was a cool front in late April. Can’t thank her enough. Would definitely return. Only minutes from the historic district and a super value for the price. Amanda
