About this house rental

Located in Vermont, this attractive house for $370 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Take in the sights and sounds of the flowing stream while relaxing at Creekside Camp. Creekside Camp is a 1,300 square foot historic home set on the bank of a rocky creek. The home, originally a hunting camp, dates back to the late nineteenth century. The living room is a reconstructed timber frame barn. Creekside Camp maintains its historic charm but has been upgraded to include all of the modern amenities. The home includes completely renovated gourmet kitchen and bohemian style bathrooms. The exposed posts and beams along with the wood burning stove makes this home absolutely Vermont. The home is situated near the road but the road is a no outlet road with only three residences beyond. Fine dining is only 2.5 miles away in Dorset. Designer outlets and locally owned shops and restaurants are less than nine miles away in Manchester Center. Hike and explore Merck Forest and Farmland just minutes away or ski Bromley Mountain, (15 miles), and Stratton Mountain, (24 miles). The master bedroom offers the king size bed, a sitting area, a large smart tv, and a private bathroom with a bathtub. Multiple windows and skylights provide daylight and views alongside the stream. Blue herons have been spotted fishing outside the window. The queen size bed is located in the semi-private loft. The view from this bedroom is of the hot tub and the stream. The second bathroom is located in the loft and has a large shower and heated tile floor. The stone fireplace is the focal point of the living room. The comfortable leather furniture makes this a great place to warm by the fire, read, or watch the smart tv. There is a dining table or a live edge wood peninsula to eat at or play one of the games provided. The kitchen was recently redesigned for people who love to cook. Cooking in the equipped kitchen, preparing a drink at the bar area, grilling on the gas Weber grill, and eating al fresco creekside is almost the perfect end to a day of exploring Vermont. It would be the end but the best is yet to come. After a day of skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer be sure not to miss out on enjoying a fire outside in the firepit and a soak in the hot tub. A long relaxing soak in the hot tub mere feet from the stream all the while scanning the trees to spot "Doug", our resident owl. Now that is the perfect ending. Welcome to Creekside Camp. Note: We DO NOT list this home on Craigslist. We are no longer charging an additional cleaning fee. (Bookings made after 12/19/22) We clean the home between guests to a very high standard of cleanliness. We are pet friendly, (dogs and cats). We charge a $100 fee for their entire stay. Whether you have one, two, or three pets - it's just $100. Dog towels, a dog throw, bowls and bowl mat, dog waste bags, and a special treat are included. Hot tub and BBQ are functional year round. When you rent Creekside Camp you get the entire house. This is not a shared home. All firewood included. We loved our stay at Creekside camp. It was very cozy with thoughtful details and every amenity needed for a weekend getaway. The communication was timely and very detailed. The location was perfect and we would love to come back and stay to experience it in the warmer weather. Creekside camp exceeded our expectations and the hosts were fabulous.

Wonderful weekend with college girlfriends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Exactly what we were looking for. Great house...enjoyed the kitchen, wood stove, and hot tub. VRBO description is spot on. Spent time tootling around in Dorset, including dropping $ at the H&N. And had a great time on the trails at the Merck Farm and Forest.

We could not be more pleased with our 3 night stay at Creekside Camp. The cabin was absolutely spotless, with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. We marveled at the clever, cozy decorating that brought the history of the cabin to life. We spent most of our time reading and recharging in front of the wood stove that worked perfectly with no smoky odor. Once the temps hit 18 degrees we ventured out to the hot tub and it was well worth the few frigid steps to get in. Owners were very nice, as well as, easy to communicate with, and we can't wait to return for another stay. We highly recommend this rental! Tom & Diane Connecticut

What a cozy and well-equipped country cabin you get when you book this home. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING, and we never needed to bother them with questions. We felt absolute privacy and enjoyed exploring Manchester and Pawlet. The picturesque creek and setting of the cabin provided the scene for ultimate relaxation. Oh, and there is the fabulous hot tub! The cabin was immaculately clean, as well. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short. We will be back! Thank you, Dan and Kellie, for providing us with a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and weekend!

We have rented many amazing houses for shorter and longer vacations. This one stands out and is so beautiful! Perfectly curated and spotlessly clean. The creek behind the house is an awesome backdrop and the fire place just allows for the cozy nights in the comfy couches. They thought of everything! Don’t look any further. Peter and Kelly
