About this house rental
Kidd Island Beauty is a perfect getaway in the summer or winter. In the summer use the shared dock to access the water by paddle to explore around peaceful Kidd Island Bay or bring your boat to adventure around the main lake. Sunbathe on the expansive upper deck or read in the shade of the lower deck. Both have amazing views of the water and CDA resort! In the winter, cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the view. If you are up for a little adventure downhill skiing is less than an hour away at Silver Mountain. There is great snowshoeing nearby on Tubbs Hill and cross country skiing at 4th ofJuly pass(about 45 mins away). The fully stocked kitchen will make meal prep easy, just bring your favorite ingredients. Upstairs is a table that can comfortably seat the whole family as well as a nice island with barstools to sit and chat while meals are being prepped. Downstairs there is room for the kids to play or for everyone to cozy up and watch a movie. The firepit by the water is a perfect place to gather in the evening to roast marshmallows. No matter the season the easy drive to downtown CDA puts loads of fun shops, restaurants, antiquing, and art galleries at your fingertips. There is a spa at the CDA resort along with elegant dining and stunning views. The floating boardwalk is a treat anytime, but especially during the holiday season when it is decorated with thousands of fun light displays. Please note: Our property is equipped with a doorbell camera as well as a camera that monitors the driveway. Lake CdA has summer recreational water levels from approximately May 15th and begins to lower after Labor Day.

After a 5-minute walk-through at arrival, I immediately called the agent to reserve this home for next year for twice the number of days. This is a great home, with a beautiful view and despite being snuggled between two homes, plenty of privacy. We had four grown men visiting for a golf excursion, but this would be fine for a family or two. Don't wait!

The home was spacious with excellent views. The home was well equipped with everything one would need. Bonuses were a dock, with many toys like kayaks, paddle boards, yard games and best of all a hot tub with a lake view. Danica was an excellent host answered any and all questions we had which were not many as the house is everything and more as described in the listing. If you have younger children many toys and even with older children plenty of board games, and the basketball hoop game was a hit with our son and his college friend. We did not get to use the fire pit but I guess we will just need to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week you have a great home

This house surpassed any VRBO stay I've had by a long shot. It was decorated and furnished in the way that I would hope my own home to be. Imagine that you might need something in the house. It would be there. There were kayaks and paddle boards for use on the lake. There were games to play. Ceour d'Alene was 20 -25 minutes away for shopping, restaurants, or just visiting. And yet while sitting on the deck of the house, you could hear the quiet. It was a wonderful week.

The house was wonderful: amazing views, clean, lovely and comfortable furnishings, well stocked everything-kitchen, outdoor stuff, towels, and other supplies, so many fun games everywhere! The host was excellent: great communication and very thoughtful. We very much felt home owners put a lot of thought and consideration into making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to rent this house!

Our 7 night stay in this superior property was wonderful and I just can't say enough about our positive experience. Filled with thoughtful amenities (including sleep masks, and fans in every room), this property was comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. From the 5 kayaks (2 for kids), 2 paddleboards, and at least 20 life vests of all sizes, second fridge/freezer in laundry room, a well stocked pantry, basketball arcade game and cute trundle bed room with 4 bunk beds, including 1 double bed, our of party of 9 had the best vacation in years. Danica was incredibly responsive and really cared about making sure we had everything we needed. She even had additional ice cube trays delivered the next day when the ice machine couldn't keep up with demand. I am recommending this Kidd Island lakefront home to all my friends and family. We will be back!

What a wonderful family friendly lakeside home! communication with Danica even before arrival was amazing and she continue to communicate quickly and thoroughly through our stay! This home has absolutely everything you will need from young children-teens to adults! The amenities provided are TOO many to list that’s how well equipped this home is.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this property and I hope to do it again! This home has everything you could possibly want in a lake-house and more. The amenities/extras of this house are excellent; the kitchen specifically has everything you could need. The pictures really do not do it justice - it is spacious with excellent views and a location that is convenient to CDA both by boat and car. The host has clear and fast communication. The house was very clean. We really enjoyed our time!

Beautiful home on a great property overlooking the lake; with a view all the way to the resort. Danica has thought of, and addressed every detail. We (9 adults, 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.

What great house and host! Each year we (4 couples) pick a place to go and we were originally supposed to be here in 2021. Danica was super flexible and let us move our reservation to 2022 without any issues. Perfect location, we had access to the dock with our boat and explored the lake and used the kayaks provided. The games downstairs were fun for friendly competition. Definitely a return destination. We met some of the neighbors who were very helpful and gave us some local tips for food and entertainment.

We docked a boat, used the paddle boards, made s’mores, enjoyed dinners with the great kitchen, played games in the game room and mostly enjoyed the peacefulness of the view from the deck. Thank you!

We had a great week here! We loved the location and it’s beautiful views of the bay and Coeur d’Alene. The home has everything you need and much more to enjoy your stay. We have little kids and appreciated the baby seats, safety gates, and toy area tucked under the stairwell. We all enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the upper deck each morning, hitting the lake on their paddle boards and kayaks during the day, and relaxing in the hot tub on the lower deck in the evening. We stayed with guests ranging from 1 year to 73 and had an amazing week altogether as a family. Wether you are looking to stay here with family or friends, we think you’ll absolutely love it!

This lakeside house has amazing lake views from the large picture window frames on all 3 levels and from the two decks. Whether you are relaxing reading a book in the master bedroom, lounging in the open kitchen and family room, or playing games downstairs you have spectacular views of the lake. We particularly loved that kayaks and paddle-boards were provided so we could enjoy the lake without having to rent or bring our own. It is clear that Danica thought of every detail to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The 'welcome package' of pancake mix, syrup, supplies for s'mores, etc. was a nice a touch and made us feel very welcome. Communication with Danica was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.

This is probably the most beautiful home we have stayed on at the lake. It was clean, well stocked and had everything you need. We rented a boat for the week and enjoyed fishing, boating to CDA and playing at the splash pad, and Art on the Green (an art festival in CDA). The kitchen has both a drip coffee pot and espresso machine, crock pot, tons of storage containers, pots, pans, blender, toaster, griddle... anything you might need. The hot tub was very clean and great in the evenings. The new bunk room which has four beds was a great surprise and the cousins loved sleeping all together. The kids loved playing basketball in the room downstairs. There was a highchair for the baby which was really helpful. Tons of life jackets of every size you could imagine. This is a wonderful home and a great family vacation spot.

Great house for multi- family vacation
We had the best time at Danica’s house. There were so many great toys there for the kids and the views are even better in person than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and so well-maintained. We stayed with another family and there was tons of space for all of us to spread out. If we ever go back to the area, we would be sure to check to see if Danica’s house is available.

This was the perfect rental for our trip, and probably the best VRBO we have stayed in. Communication with the host, Danica, prior to and during our trip was easy. She always responded quickly and was helpful. For instance, the coffee machine had a leak and after telling her, there was a new one delivered to the front door 2 hours later. We got a BS ticket while docking the boat at the resort and she called and helped to get things sorted out.
The place itself was perfect. We had a number of kids ages 1.5 to 8 and it was perfect. There were countless toys to play with including skeeball, pop a shot basketball, and ping pong. The basement was loaded with toys and was all carpeted making it perfect. There were 3 gates for the stairs, a high chair, and a stroller. Hot tub on the back porch was a nice touch. There were paddle boards, kayaks, and plenty of life jackets.
Location on the lake was perfect. On a small inlet and you could see the resort from the porch. Took about 8-10 min to boat to the resort to tie up and let the kids go to the park/playground. We were able to fish right off the dock. Danica also left us supplies for s’mores which the kids loved.
Overall, I can’t think of anything that could have been better. Beautiful house and well thought out amenities and supplies. Top notch all the way.

Top notch property
This house is located on a shared shorefront on Kidd Island Bay on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Boat access is super easy when the lake is at its summer level. The bay is shallow. We only had 6 adults but the house is set up for many more although the limit is 10 due to the neighborhood restrictions.
Our hosts have this house set up superbly. It has an assortment of board games, skee ball and basketball machines, a hot tub, three decks, a smokeless fire pit, chairs for all everywhere outside, paddleboards, kayaks, etc. It is very complete! The kitchen is ready to go with spices and other dry goods essentials. Check-in first before shopping, you'll likely find it already in place. Coffee maker and Nespresso machines too!
All the beds are great. The master on the top floor has an en suite bathroom. Three more bedrooms on the top floor. The basement has its own "master" bedroom.
Make sure you introduce yourself to the neighbor to the south, She is a full-time resident and is full of details about the area and properties. The house to the north is also a rental so you'll meet someone different each time.
We had non-typical communications with the owners before and during our stay as they were having some repairs/updates made to the property while we were there. A couple of contractors needed access and it was handled so well, we didn't even know they had come and gone. The owners made all of that happen behind the scenes and kept us informed on progress.
We were so pleased with this property and will be back for sure. You will not be disappointed!
