Everything was perfect. The house looked even better than in the pictures (and they already look amazing!) I would recommend it 100%, and it would be on my list for future trips to Girdwood.

Wonderful location, well outfitted for cooking. Great views with private feel.

A couple of things broken, like the fireplace and the blinds to see the great view. Dog hair balls under table and in hallway. Needed to vacuum myself upon arrival. It would be nice if there was a broom to sweep the lovely porch or if the porch was swept before arrival.

A quaint little house tugged at the edge of the woods in Girdwood with large deck area facing the woods and mountain. Central location to places of interest aside from being best location for aurora lights. Girdwood is only 20-30 minutes away from where we wanted to visit such as Portage glacier, wildlife animal conservation centre, Potter Marsh, Beluga point, Salmon fishing at Bird creek.

Water pressure was a bit low downstairs

Coming from busy city the mountain house was perfect. Close to the highway to explore. The local restaurants were great. The house was the perfect size for our family of 3. Cozy and comforting. A great place to unwind after a day of exploring.

We had a difficult time adjusting the thermostat. It was warm the last few nights and we could not adjust the temperature down a few degrees.

had a little trouble traversing the driveway with all the snow, maybe a few extra shovels would be handy.

Beds were not very comfortable. Might need additional fans.

This was our second stay here. The proximity to skiing is great. Love coming back to a warm cabin apres ski. We especially like that our dogs can be with us. We’ll be back.
