About this house rental
Custom built 7,500 sq feet Wilderness Log home with 6+ bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Beautiful views of Little Round Lake, secluded and private with boat access to energetic Round Lake with bars and restaurants. The perfect entertaining lodge. Double Ovens makes entertaining for large groups easy and efficient, with access to an enormous deck and screen porch. Oh, and the custom log bar in the basement, well there is not better place to soak in the Northwood's while indoors with great views of the lake. Enjoy the custom log shuffleboard and log poker table, or just sit back and enjoy the (very) good life. All rooms are over-sized and offer top of the line furnishings and finishes. (All new bedding and pillows in 2023) You really must see this property to truly appreciate its beauty and grandness. Great for family gatherings, corporate retreats and just a reunion of friends. Multiple restaurants and bars are accessible by boat on Round Lake, even a marina with gas to refill so you can spend all day on the water! You do have to go under the bridge to get to Round Lake, which can be a tight fit, but not far at all. We have a newer 22' pontoon boat that is available for rent as well. If the water is really high, there is a chance you might not fit, but this has not happened to us over the last couple years. Off the water, there is a winery and casino(age 18+) within 5 miles. There is also mini golf, go carts, log rolling and much, much more to explore! We also have 3 kayaks (1 is a double person) and a paddle boat that are included with your rental. And again, we have to mention that we have a brand new pontoon also available for an additional charge. In summary, Custom built Wilderness Log Home features 6 BR, 4 BA, stately family room, gourmet kitchen with island and double ovens, full log interior and accents, master suite with Jacuzzi tub, 2 laundry rooms & fully finished walkout lower level. Max guests - 22 and offers a perfect retreat for entertaining. Attached 2 car & detached 2 car garages. Tranquil setting on a quiet lake but also offers access via boat to popular Round Lake. Beds and rooms are listed. In total we can sleep 16 in beds but please reach out if you have questions. Thanks

Our spread out family looks for a place to gather over the holidays to spend some time together. Executive Custom Log Lodge was wonderful. The lodge provided ample space for our indoor activities. The kitchen was a very comfortable space and the deluxe dining table gave us a great place to gather for meals. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone and plenty of room to spread out for different needs/activities. Mike was very responsive to our initial questions/needs and we all enjoyed our stay. Access to Hayward was easy as well.

This beautiful home worked out perfectly for our family of 14. Plenty of space and seating for the entire group to be together. Home was well stocked with everything that was needed.
If we go back to that area, we will definitely check this propery first.

Beautiful place....enough room for our group....good communication with Owner...driveway tricky if you have a boat couldnt turn around in driveway had to backout and we had 3 boat trailers....would definitely go back.

The cabin was perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully equipped for all of our meal preparations. There are plenty of areas in the cabin for family functions and fun. A large wraparound deck provided beautiful views of the lake. Will definitely go back........thanks so much to the hosts!

Look no further, This is a great place to stay. Location from activities is great, the location on the lake is excellent. The house has plenty of room, soft comfortable beds. Plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple family meals. Dock space was adequate, the option to rent the pontoon is nice which we did and turned out great. Family loved the pontoon rides in the evening. We stayed in the small lake which was plenty of space to cruise at sunset. The owner was very easy and nice to work with. Will definitely be back again, and the fishing was really good as well. Overall, like i said in the beginning, there's really no reason to look no further everything is right here.

Great place for large family get together. 14 of us enjoyed our stay here, with plenty of room so no one felt cramped. Basement with bar and game room was a great adult entertainment spot. We never left other than to get more groceries. Cooked all our meals in a kitchen that had basically everything you need plus having additional refrigerators, and freezer are a plus. Very confrontable and relaxing. We rent many vacation homes in WI and Caribbean this one was the best and was easy to communicate with owner. Round lake is a clear and clean lake with little boat traffic.

The property is beautiful, perfect for a group! Super clean, easy to get to. Owner communication was perfect, very responsive. Appreciated the option to add the boat rental and all the instructions so we could enjoy the lake too! We would definitely rent again.

Very impressed with the home & its overall cleanliness. I was a bit disappointed to see cigarette butts strewn throughout the exterior of the property. The host, Mike, was great help and was very responsive to last minute requests/text messages. The check in/out process was so painless it seemed virtually non-existent. I would have liked to know prior to booking, that the cabin was located at the end of a very narrow dirt road. We had a bus scheduled to pick us up & drop us off both evenings, however we had to walk over half a mile to the end of the pavement to meet the bus (not a fun walk back at midnight). Overall, a great property that I would absolutely stay at again! Great for a weekend family reunion or ‘boys trip’. Thanks again Mike.

Beautiful, massive cabin close to Hayward. This was a perfect stay for our large group in town for a ski race. Lots of space to spread out. Mike is very communicative and friendly. Would book again!

We had a wonderful weekend skiing, playing shuffle board, and going to the nearby supperclubs. There were a few things the kitchen was missing for a large group (we were 10). And the lights should be labeled, we couldn't find many lights that would have been nice to have on. I would also suggest installing some sort of anti-slip coating or treads on the stairs, we had several major falls. Even with the heat on, some of my family noted it was very cold at night. Other than that, a great place to spend a family weekend together! Beautiful area.

This property had everything we needed for our family getaway! The home is beautiful and a perfect layout for multiple people of all ages. A lot of separate space and gathering space. It offered something for everyone! The check in and out process was simple, and communication was good! There isn’t a thing we went without and zero complaints! Loved the wood burning fireplace upstairs and down! Would love to come back in the summer to utilize the exterior of the property!

Our favorite things we loved about the cabin is that it was big enough to fit our 20 people family and also big enough that our introverts didn't feel overwhelmed living with everyone for 4 days straight. Our other favorite thing was the pontoon boat. We were on that thing every day! Absolute delight.

There was plenty of space and beautiful views from the huge windows out to the lake! The basement had an amazing bar and entertainment area. So many beds and bedrooms to spread out! The host was so helpful and easy to work with! We will stay again!! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

We were a group of seniors (6 couples). It was nice that we could all spread out and enjoy ourselves. The huge table accommodated our meals and games. The decks and firepit were wonderful.

This spectacular log lake home is exquisite!! Rustic and elegant with beautiful decor throughout. Right on the lake- could hear the loon calls and seen many deer. We had a family of 8 adults and were able to gather comfortably for meals, lounge atound the multiple fireplaces, roast marshmallows around a large firepit, and soak in the sunshine on the wrap around deck. We alsio had the 6 bedrooms and 4 baths, a ping pong room, and 3rd family room in the lower level for space. We enjoyed the kayak, paddle boat, and pontoon. Big windows in a great room overlooking the lake was great for evening fireside chats. Also large well atocked kirchen to prepare meals. Mike was an extraordinary host- responsive and even drove over as we did not figure out the light switches. Truly a memorable family get together!!

Very nice property. The owner was very responsive with communication. The lake is so clear and beautiful; one of the best lakes we have been on in recent years. The property has lots of stairs, which were not great for the elderly in our group. Careful on the stairs inside as the wood is not even and you can slip easily on them. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a large family. I would ask the owner to have the cleaning crew check between/under couch cushions. We were looking for a pull out bed and found lots of surprises😮.
I would stay here again with family as we all had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing place
We stayed here with our extended family. The owner was super organized and responsive. The place is huge. We had tons of space for 12 of us. We kayaked around little round lake and rented the pontoon to take out on big round lake which made the stay so much fun. Lots of wildlife. 2 boat up restaurants. A large lawn to play games. Beautiful wrap around deck overlooking the lake. Would highly recommend!
