We loved this place!

With having family living away from a large city, this is the 2nd stay at this house and i wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The cottage sit off the main streets in town but close to everything you might need with restaurants, little shops, the Land Between the Lakes just an short distance, civil war battlegrounds with cemetery, surrender hotel still standing (just 3 or 4 houses away and with a inlet at your back yard/deck.

My husband and I spent a week at this lovely cottage. The location was amazing with food options within easy walking distance. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place with easy access to Land Between the Lakes, Fort Donelson and Dover.

My grandson (almost 3 yo) called it the blue house. We truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials. The cottage was clean, very cozy. We didn't spend a lot of time at house as we were in Dover for a family reunion. We will be back to Dover next year and we certainly hope this cottage is available. Hannah the hostess is really great to work with. Definitely a great place to stay.

Great small house in a tiny town. Hannah was great to work with.

The house was beautiful and the yard goes right to the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. Our host was quick to respond when needed. The town is small but packs a lot of history. Would definitely stay here again.

Hannah is one of the best hosts I have ever worked with. She communicated with me before we stayed and while we were there also. The small house was clean and had everything a person needed to be comforetable. Dave T.

The owners were very helpful and the cabin was very clean and well located for many activities.

The location in Dover was perfect, making easy to get to family members and has grocery store/ restaurants. The has a beautiful view of lake Barkley with a large back yard. The house is cozy little spot gun house with back deck. I will surely be looking at this place to stay on my next trip to see grandchildren.

This was the perfect place me and my 3 kids the place was super clean and had everything you would need. They made everything so easy. They even gave suggestions of places to visit and eat . We would recommend d this rental to others

The property was exactly as depicted in the pictures and was everything you could ask for: clean, comfortable, well stocked. Hannah made check-in and access seamless. In the middle of a heatwave, the air conditioning was the icing on the cake! Hope to come back again.

Quaint, cozy, and homey! Absolutely, one of the cleanest VRBO's I have stayed in. I felt very secure and comfortable being there by myself. The bed was so perfect for a good night's sleep. If I ever have to come back to Dover for business, I will most definitely ask Hannah for another night's stay!!! I loved it!

Great location to explore the Land Between the Lakes area. Home had everything we needed.

We visit our parents 3 to 4 times a year and this lovely home has become our home away from home . We just love it, quite, clean and just the right size for us. This was our first trip in the summer and we loved to sit on the back porch in the morning and have our coffee and look at the river - beautiful and peaceful!

Just a note, it says TV and there is a TV there, however it is not hooked up to a antenna and no cable, there is no way to watch anything local or live TV...owner said go to YouTube and search for a major TV Station...but it wanted us to set up an account...they did offer Netflix, but we just wanted to come in of an evening and watch TV...not a movie....this was a huge letdown for us...it said TV in the listing but we didn’t get cable or live TV at all. Also the Pots and Pans to cook in were really old and scratched up and nasty...they did leave us a scotch pad to clean with but it was used and dirty as well. We were on a vacation and they also required us to strip the beds and start washing them for them, never have we had to do this when we have paid to stay somewhere. I did give the rating 4 stars mainly because the house was ok and the location was great for our trip....just had some of these items made it kind of disappointing.

Hannah makes sure your stay is everything you could hope for. We had issues the first night with the tub draining, and the next day it was fixed! We were able to do laundry and dishes as needed, which was nice. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!!

We enjoyed our stay and Hannah was helpful. It's a bit noisy right off a busier area and the neighbors have a dog barking insesently. But we tried to not let it bother us to much!

Great place to stay and very clean. This was our first experience with VRBO. Hannah made everything so easy and was in constant communication with us. We hope to visit again!

Love this little house - perfect for us when we visit our parents.

It was just my husband and I ... but big enough for the family or a perfect place for just the two ... can walk down the property to fish or many towns around to site see ...very clean and she had extras in case you forgot something..... she has a pot of coffee waiting for ya :)
