great place to relax and enjoy the river

We had a great time staying out this VRBO. It was everything we needed and then some. Location was perfect and hosts were very responsive. Some of the kayaks, paddleboard and hot tub needed some love but otherwise the property is as good as it looks in the pictures. Will definitely return.

The house was modern, clean and fresh, everything beautifully appointed, and just write very comfortable and right on the river, and the folks next-door could not have been more helpful and pleasant

10/10… Tonya was very responsive to any type of questions that we had. As you approach the house off of shoreline It is literally a couple houses down from the upper deck restaurant. When you walk into the house it is clean from top to bottom. We normally bring in cooking supplies, extra garbage bags, etc. But this house was well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised with goldfish as a treat. We stayed five nights and every day we saw at least 10 to 15 manatees. The river was crystal clear, and the house was so conveniently next to hospital hall, which is a sprain. Also, if you have young kids, it is perfect because there is a park right down the road. Our three year old absolutely loved the river and swam all day and pretty much all night if he could. The house was well air-conditioned, and would stay cool at night. This house will be an annual trip for my family as well as a family that accompany us. Bravo Tonya on a well VRBO!!!!!!!

I have to say this is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed! Just lovely! Saw mantees and dolphins everyday! Already rented again for next year!

We had such an amazing vacation here! The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s super clean and well stocked with just about everything you need: kitchenware, trash bags, laundry pods, shampoo/conditioner, towels, coolers and water jugs to take on the river. They’ve thought of everything!! The screened in porch under the house is awesome with hot tub and large flat top grill. (Including all the grilling utensils.) The kayaks and life jackets are in good shape. We had so much fun kayaking up river towards the springs! It can be a chore to row against the current, but it’s totally worth it. If you check the local tide times and go closer to high tide it seems to be easier and you can make it further up the river. One day we rented a mini pontoon boat which was pretty awesome! There are several places close by to rent these small river boats. The neighborhood is nice and the neighbors are super friendly. The wildlife in the area is unreal. We saw manatees and dolphins from the balcony daily as well as lizards, frogs, hawks, ospreys, and owls. Wonderful place for wildlife watchers! The balcony was our favorite hangout and the best place to see the manatees and dolphins. Check in was a breeze and the hosts were very responsive to all our questions. We had the best time! We will definitely stay here again!

This is an amazing place right on the river. It has a massive screened in area on the ground level with a hot tub and hibachi grill. We cooked everything from bacon and eggs, hot dogs and burgers to lobster and salmon. We had many Manatee and Dolphins swim by us while we were in the water. The inside is clean and nicely decorated. It has a big kitchen with all the cookware that you need. The master bedroom is big with a beautiful bathroom. Great place to relax and have a good time on the water with friends and family. Oh, and the neighbors are awesome too!

This is our second time here. We absolutely love this home. It has everything you need! No detail has been spared. The host was kind enough to leave us a useful gift as we are return guests. They communicate quickly. The house is spotless! We hope to continue coming back.

I stayed here with my 3 girls (1,14,12) and we all the perfect escape. The house had everything and more! The location was perfect! We all enjoyed our time away to unwind. Not one negative thing to say!

This property is well stocked, and we love the area. We love this place and had a great time!

This was our first time renting through a site like this. It was excellent. The house was as pictured and had everything we needed. Fully stocked with everything you could need for eating, sleeping, relaxation etc. We loved the deck. You can watch the boaters go by. We saw several manatees. We loved the neighborhood. So quiet and great for walking a dog. The restaurant recommendations in the guide book provided was very helpful. We ate great food, including the restaurant just down the road. It was great. Great for kids and adults. Thank you!!!

We have stayed at this property before and loved coming back! The house has everything you would need for your stay and the location is breathtaking! We had a great time on the river as well as sitting on the back balcony watching the boaters and manatee... the hosts are top notch and answered my questions promptly. Be sure to check this place out!!! You be so glad you did! We will be back for sure!!

This river home is outstanding. All you need to bring is your clothes, toothbrush and some food. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen is provided - along with extra's in the bathrooms. The master mattress is the bomb - My daughter's "tracker" says she slept a full 8 hours - (that's a record). The river was beautiful and clear - not too many kayakers - that's always entertaining to watch. Took the poodle for his first kayak ride on the river, saw lots of fish and manatee every day. Of all the places we have stayed on the river in past years - this home is the top of the river-board. We've enjoyed every time we've gotten to come over. Toby and Tonya have provided everything possible to make your trip the best it can be.

This stay was so perfect for our family of boys looking for fun in the sun. They enjoyed the manatees, kayaking, fishing and swimming and snorkeling for crabs. The neighbors are so kind and knowledgeable about the river and were very gracious with borrowing things for us to use. The house was clean and beyond what was expected. We definitely will be back!

We absolutely love this spot and house. Plus the owners are so sweet and helpful. There was a present waiting for me on arrival for my birthday. This is our second stay here and everything was perfect just as the 1st time. We have four kids ranging from 2-14 and all enjoyed the house and water. We kayak every day, use the spa, grill, watch sunsets, watch movies and play boards games. Just sitting by the water watching the manatees go by is our favorite part time. Thank you for another great trip.

We started our spring break at Disney World then to this beautiful river front oasis. We were breathless upon entering. The accommodations and location is perfect. We would recommend this property for anyone looking for the perfect getaway

Highly recommend this property. It is located right on the Weeki Wachee and is a beautiful home with indoor and outdoor living space to enjoy! Clean and has great amenities!

What can we say about this home and the owners that hasn't been said? We enjoyed seven weeks here on the Weeki Wachee river in this beautiful home and were sad to leave. Toby and Tonya thought of everything and made the house a wonderful place to stay. We didn't lack for anything we needed! We loved the time we spent here and we are looking forward to a return trip!

Words cannot describe how fabulous this vacation home is! I almost don't want anyone else to know about this gem since it is already so popular. Attention to details and everything you can possibly need or want is provided. 4 days was not enough next time I would stay a week or more. This river is spectacular, the clarity of the water is incredible. We saw so many manatee and fish. Enjoyed cruising up and down on our paddle boards and used the wonderful kayaks provided and they had 1 paddle board as well. Staying here felt like being at your own private 5 star resort but with the privacy of a single family home. Even our dog loved it! Owners were super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful Christmas at this property! Everything was well stocked and very clean. Saw too many manatees to count and enjoyed the beauty of the River. Thank you to the hosts for a vacation we will never forget!

Be ready to relax and see the manatees. We enjoyed our time at this beautiful Key West style home. It was my husband's birthday gift to stay at this home that is nearly always booked. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and even some extras. We truly enjoyed our time there!

My family had a great time. The house is beautiful and clean. The location was great! Things people might want to be aware of: - The hot tub was out of order. Property manager mentioned this after we got there. They said it broke with the previous vacationers but couldn’t get fixed and needs to be replaced. - The grill is not a traditional grill as shown in the photos. It’s been replaced with a flat top griddle. I enjoyed this because I’ve been considering getting one. Now I’m getting one for sure. Someone might want to know in case they prefer a flame. - The kitchen and living area are on the second story. The entire downstairs is a screened enclosure. My struggle with this is running up and down the stairs to get food cooked on the griddle and needing things from the kitchen. - The shower pressure in the master, we named the shower of a thousand needles. It’s intense. And one of those showers where the pressure increases as you heat it up rather than having hot/cold and pressure control separate. - More on the shower, it doesn’t have a door, which is fine, but with the pressure, the water makes its way out in the form of a high pressure spray. - The dogs two doors down, someone else wrote about them. We’re dog lovers. But those dogs are nuts. My 12yo son got caught in a little current and it pulled him too close and the little brown one bit him on the hand. So we had to go to urgent care and he’s on antibiotics, because who knows if they have all their shots. I witnessed that dog attack multiple kayakers who also got caught in the current. - The upstairs balcony is a better spot to sit but it’s not screened in. Lots of bug bites from gnats. Even with various bug sprays. - The cameras are too much for my comfort. I read that they light up red when viewing live. And it went red a few times in the evening. Not sure if that’s the case, but made me uncomfortable. - We could not use the kitchen the last morning because we had to check out at 10am and you have to have all dishes washed, dried and put away. - You have to strip the beds and put all towels in laundry room and start a load of laundry. - The towels smelled like mildew. I’m guessing from sitting in the washer too long.

This was our first time to the area and so glad we chose this property to stay at. The location was excellent. The house was clean and well stocked and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We will be booking again in the future.

Great house in nice neighborhood

Of my top 5 VRBOs I have stayed in, this one is now my #1. Very cute and cozy. I loved being able to launch my kayak just behind the house. The outdoor area is gorgeous and comfortable. So nice to just sit outside and watch manatees float by. This house has everything you need!

We only live an hour away, but we always enjoy coming to Weeki Wachee for some peace and quiet. We saw manatees every morning off the porch. It was very easy to get ahold of the property manager when needed. The only downfall to this property was the neighbor two houses down on the right. They have three small/aggressive dogs that go after every single person that floats past their house. They’re literally the worst. Other than that, this house was cozy and had everything you could possibly need. Quick tip for anyone renting after us. You’ll have to paddle upstream and then float back down. It’s quite the workout, but 100% worth it. I left three inner tubes there. You can float in those once the current is gone around 430ish.

We (4-adults) enjoyed every minute of our stay in this home. So clean and well equipped with the comforts every traveler would need. We will be back! Thank you.
