About this condo rental

With shared pools, tennis, badminton, a fitness room, and multiple spas and saunas, this condo is primed and ready for that next family vacation in the mountains. In the summer months, play horseshoes and fire up one of the grills in the guest BBQ area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to whip up homemade meals, while the large living room offers plenty of space to get comfortable and enjoy your favorite movies, along with a wood-burning fireplace so you can warm up after being out in the snow. The Summit 276 is only about a quarter-mile from Chair 15 Eagle Express at Eagle Lodge Mammoth Mountain. For hiking you can drive just a little over three miles to the Sherwin Lakes trailhead and hike to Sherwin Lake while enjoying expansive mountain vistas. You will also be conveniently close to restaurants, stores, coffee shops, a bowling alley, and the entire town of Mammoth Lakes. THINGS TO KNOW The internet in this area is unreliable. This home does not allow early check-in. Please remember to bring your pool towels, we only provide regular towels for your stay. While pots and pans are available for use, as a safety precaution, consumables such as oil, spices, and coffee are not provided. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 3. Ski shuttle details: Bus stop for FREE shuttle located across the street from the Complex on Meridian Blvd. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The location was great, 4 of 6 jacuzzis were out of order and there were ants in the unit. The showers are made for little people.

The main issue we had was with the property management company, Vacasa. Apparently, they recently laid off a bunch of local stuff and outsourced everything overseas. They were hard to get a hold of, non responsive and did not send maintenance/housekeeping in a reasonable amount of time. The toilet clogged up and overflowed all over the floor and seaped into the hallway carpet. Maintenance finally arrived 3 hours later and unclogged the toilet, but housekeeping never showed up to clean up the mess, despite 4 phone calls. They never even called us back to follow up. We ended up having to clean the bathroom ourselves with paper towels and dishwashing detergent. To top that off, the upstairs bathroom door was broken. It either would not close shut, and if you forced it, then you'd be trapped inside, which is what happened with my son. He had to yell for me to come open the door for him. As if that weren't enough, the closets had no hangers, the kitchen had no cutting boards, the pots and pans had mis-matched lids. Up and down 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit. Not the most comfortable stay.

Unfortunately, after day on slopes bed comfort was seriously lacking and unless the streets are covered in snow it can not be considered Ski-In/Out as a nearby Juniper Springs resort

The place was clean and spacious. There were a few simple things that that could be done to make it better. The pillows were all very flat and hard. There were no wash cloths and only 4 towels, for a place that sleeps 6. The hot tub was nice, but we had no towels.

Very Nice and clean. New sauté pans and large pans made breakfast cooking easy. We love this place and will stay again.

Such a perfect spot for Bluesapalooza! Walking distance! Quiet retreat but close to everything and very comfortable! Thank you for sharing your lovely place! We’ll be back!

Pros: great location, decent gym, pools and hot tubs.
Cons: we knew it would be hot in mammoth with no A/C but found it weird that there wasn’t even a plug in fan for guests to use. The upstairs loft was so hot we couldn’t sleep and chose to sleep downstairs. The pullout couch mattress was so worn that you could feel every spring. We slept on the floor instead after trying to sleep on the couch mattress. There were also big old cobwebs in the corners, hanging from the ceiling, and on the mantle. The place served its purpose for us but I won’t choose this home again.

Plenty of sleeping situations, the hot tub is a short walk but it was big and spacious and exactly what we needed for our group of guys. The house it’s self is a little bit on the older side but as long as you’re not looking for anything bougie it’s absolutely perfect for a snowboarding group trip!

It was a little annoying trying to take off all of our snow stuff before we even entered the unit. The beds and couch were fine, not bad, not great. Bring your own extra blankets. The unit was clean. The kitchen was very sparse! It is fine if you don’t really plan on using the kitchen all that much but I was disappointed with the kitchen. There were about 6 forks which meant you had to wash them after every meal, there were 3 regular coffee cups and then some other weird teacups. They had about 1000 side plates and teacup saucers. 4 different can openers, 1 of which worked. Make sure you bring your own ground coffee, sugar, and salt because there was none there. 5 frying pans but none that had lids that fit. Overall it was fine, I would consider staying here again, I would just know to bring my own kitchen supplies.

Bring fans to circulate air in living area, loft sleeping & main bedrm as there are no cross breezes to keep you from sleeping on top of covers during warm summer months!

Downstairs had food crumbs under the baseboard heater. Beds were firm, not very comfortable. We aren’t going to stay here again. If I were the owner, I would give this condo some TLC and make it more comfortable and clean for guests.

Good locale, poor bed and tough stairs.
Location excellent! Beds sub par, spring matresses, dient sleep but a few hours over 3 nights. Also, if tour not use to 8000 feet elevation, climbing the stairs is a task! My whole acrive family was out of breath after climbing 3 flights of stairs for 2nd floor unit. Even with bed being uncomfortable, id stay again and recommend, just be forewarned of stairs!

The location is good. It's convenient to the city centre and lakes. Clean and cozy cabin makes the stay much more enjoyable than otherwise.

I booked this place for a weekend with 4 other friends and we just had an amazing time! Everything was super tidy and clean, the condo offered a hot tub which was a great plus and it’s close to beautiful lakes, hikes and hot springs. Would definitely recommend.

This unit had plenty of room and stocked well with essentials.Walking distance to lift and nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. And my fur baby was welcomed and that means a lot to me when staying alone in an unfamiliar place! TV's Cable and Wifi worked well . However I felt the couches in living room where a bit uncomfortable for sitting and the beds where uncomfortable too but the price was right !

This unit had plenty of room and stocked well with essentials.

TV's Cable and Wifi worked well . However I felt the couches in living room where a bit uncomfortable for sitting and the beds where uncomfortable too but the price was right !

5+ Stars!!!! The condo was much nicer & larger than the photos!
My husband, myself & our dog Peggy were surprised to see how clean & fully equipped this spacious condo was compared to the description. Loved all the great kitchen cookware, dishware, utencils and appliances. Could not have asked for more! Plenty of new clean towels and extra bedding! The beds were so plush and looked showroom new! I'm NOT making this up! I showed our appreciation by making sure the clean-up crew had minimal work to do other than laundry and basic cleaning, no mess whatsoever. Yes, it's true, we want to thank Vacasa and the homeowners very much for their gracious hospitality. We highly recommend this listing and will return again. Thanks again...so much!! Kelly T.
