Nestled in Allegheny River, this charming bed and breakfast for $160 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Renovated up/down guest house with eat-in kitchen and full bathroom on first floor and two private sleeping areas/TV area on second floor. Loft is over our 2-car garage. Great for Penn State football weekends, Studebaker House weddings, trout fishing in the area or just generally relaxing in beautiful Stone Valley, nestled on creek between two state parks (Greenwood Furnace and Whipple Dam). Property sits next to Laurel Run, a stocked trout stream near McAlevy's Fort, PA - just 13 miles from State College and Beaver Stadium. Room for 4 with possibly one more child: queen bed, full bed with twin bunk and double bed futon. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dishware and pots, stove, coffee maker and microwave; wi-fi, internet and YouTube TV with Netflix available. There is a creekside firepit with firewood provided for your use as well as propane grill.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Loft. The trout stream was idyllic and the loft was comfortable! We loved being close enough, but far away from the craziness of Penn State. It was really easy to get in and out of the parking lots and Beaver stadium from where The Loft is located. We will definitely stay here again.

The loft was in a beautiful spot. Convenient to Penn state and comfortable for our family of four. Beautiful drive between Penn state and the loft. The owners were very responsive and the accommodations were comfortable.

My friend and I booked the Loft for a centrally located fishing trip. Everything at the Loft was as pictured and described in the listing. The kitchen and eating area is cozy and the bathroom is on the same level. The sleeping and living room areas are up a flight of stairs. As pictured, the 2 sleeping areas are separated by the living area and a curtain. Two couples may be a little uncomfortable with that. The outside area was peaceful, beautiful, and located on a small trout stream. The amenities are adequate, and the hosts were friendly. Thank you for a great location, facility, and stay!

This has to be one of my favourite vrbo properties . i am already planning my next trip . The location was perfect for our penn state visit . - was seamless as Dee provided all information for my late night arrival . I slept at nights listening to the water just by my window .The home was clean and decor is tastefully done . We had fresh towels and even coffee for the pot . The icing on the cake was a jar of honey fresh from Dees apiary right on the table as we entered the kitchen .We enjoyed our stay

We had an awesome time for psu homecoming weekend. This place is 20 minutes from the stadium, no traffic and conveniently locate to downtown. We had a great stay and looking forward to returning next year.

We truly enjoyed our visit to the State College area. The cabin in lovely, clean and comfortable. The only complaint is just how remote is as it was difficult to find a place nearby to eat (one restaurant in the general neighborhood). That said, it is a wonderful place for a Penn State football weekend or a hiking trip and the hosts are wonderful.
