About this cottage rental
Two Story guest house close in. Sunrise view. Is pet free. Full and half bath. Washer Dryer. High speed wifi and cable TV with DVR. East facing balcony. Dish washer. Fully equipped kitchen. Quiet heat pumps/cooling. Shops and restaurants (world class) within walking distance. Large Deck for guest's use. Easy access to downtown via bus lines or car. Small full kitchen. Our American Standard fold out couch turns into a high quality queen bed with half bath. Queen and full bath in the single Master BDRM. Deck has a grill for summer months. Daytime guests are welcome. The house is private and interaction is minimal unless assistance is needed. We are available for recommendations on places to visit, eat, kayak. There are two TVs, one upstairs one downstairs and both have DVRs.

Close to many great restaurants. There’s a Target two blocks away that had everything we forgot to bring.

The property was as represented - clean, fresh, newish and private. Its a separate 2 story building tucked behind a neighborhood house in a quiet area. We hope to stay again next time we're in Portland.

This is a very nice, new and clean property. There is a patio for family style get together and a balcony off the second floor bedroom. I recommend this rental to anyone visiting Portland.

I stayed here with my two kids 5 and 4 for 5 nights. The cottage is a new construction with modern appliances and tastefully furnished. Our needs were met by the cottage. Jay and his wife were nice and friendly host. We will definitely come here when we are in Portland.

The kitchen had the basics that we needed, and the layout of the vrbo gave us space to work remotely for the first two days of our trip. The house was located walking distance from SE Division Street, where we frequented local restaurants and bars. We really enjoyed the location of the vrbo because we were able to explore Downtown and other areas of the city, all within max 13 minute drive. Location and area were great. We really enjoyed our stay, and Sabin and Jay were very communicative and have curated a wonderful get away.

Privacy, comfort, and great neighborhood
This property is the perfect place for a couple of adults to take an extended vacation in Portland. My wife and I stayed here for a month and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The house is very comfortable and completely separate from the main residence, with a nice deck and grill for entertaining or just lounging. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful with tips on nearby hiking destinations, while also giving us privacy during our stay. We'd definitely stay there again on future trips to Portland..

We cannot give this rental 5 stars mainly because the yard and deck have been neglected and provide a rather depressing view. If weeds were pulled, dead plants removed, and worn out rugs removed, it could be nice.

It was so peaceful and quiet. We had everything we needed in a wonderful neighborhood near many stores and restaurants. It is a great area to take a walk. The owners were there if we needed them, but gave us complete privacy. We were very comfortable there.

The cottage is a very well designed living space, with kitchen and living space as one good sized area along with a 1/2 bath and laundry room all on the first floor. Upstairs is a large bedroom and full bath with a large walk in shower all nicely appointed.We stayed for 42 days and were very satisified. John

Very comfortable space
This property is fairly new and a well-planned ADU situated in a large yard with patio. Main house is fronting the street so ADU is quiet. The unit is attractively furnished and the galley kitchen is complete and ready for cooking meals.
My husband and I liked the two workspaces, one in the bedroom upstairs and one in the living room. This afforded us the privacy of separate Zoom calls and work (volunteer) tasks. The neighborhood is great for walking and a 10 minute stroll gets you to the cafes of Division Street and Target on Powell (5 minutes). Street parking was convenient most of the time.
Jay was very responsive when the internet went out (Comcast problem) and made sure we were reconnected.

Great space for long term rental
We stayed for two months, working remote while visiting friends and family. The two story unit was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our time here. Jay and Carol are great hosts and we really appreciated the privacy and use of the outdoor deck space. Easy walks to Clinton, Division and Hawthorne and all the amazing restaurants. One of the best places we've stayed in Portland.

Nice, comfortable stay
We had a really nice stay, everything was clean and comfortable, and the property was in a good location. The main floor is cozy and the master bedroom/bathroom is a really nice size. We had a very positive experience, the hosts were very kind, and we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Portland visit
The two story cottage was a perfect home away from home during our recent trip to visit our daughter in Portland. The cottage is clean, cozy and is in a great location. Target and a great brew pub are just a walk away! Beds super comfy! The owners are very respectful of your space, but are available when needed. I accidentally left something on the balcony one day and they brought it in out of the rain. I forgot that rain is inevitable in Portland! Thanks, Jay for providing such a nice vacation rental. I'll be back in the Spring!

The property managers, Jay & Carol did not intrude on our visit, but when we did meet them they proved to be a charming & very likeable couple.

Visiting my son
This property was perfect in every way. It was close to my son, very comfortable, close to stores and in a quiet neighborhood. All issues where addressed quickly. We would definitely stay here again if we visit my son.

2 story updated bungalow located minutes from all that's going down on Division st.
If you are looking for a place to stay as you visit Portland, no need to look any further. Quiet safe neighborhood full of great architecture.
Washer/ dryer, great water pressure. Jay is easy to work with. Division st and Hawthorne and all those streets offer in terms of food and drink and shopping is all down the road.
