This vacation rental, located on the second floor, offers the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation and convenience. Located in the historic Sam Hughes neighborhood, this 1920s carriage house has been lovingly updated to offer a bright, spacious, and comfortable stay. The fully outfitted carriage house features a complete kitchen with a gourmet stainless range, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and all necessary utensils and dishes. The dining patio comfortably seats four, while the home boasts old-world furnishings. Included with your stay are all utilities, high-speed internet, a DVD player, and a deluxe 42" television with 99 cable channels. Additionally, guests have access to a HE washer/dryer and a charming vintage bathroom complete with luxury linens. Villa Blanca Tortuga comfortably sleeps two guests, with a master bedroom featuring a Simmons Beautyrest Classic McCalister Plush Super Pillow Top King-sized bed. Enjoy Tucson's gorgeous weather on the large rear patio, perfect for alfresco dining. The small yard offers comfortable patio furniture, ideal for birdwatching and butterfly spotting while enjoying your morning beverage. Erica is an amazing property manager and provides updated information on what is happening in Tucson. We felt as if we had a friend in town. The carriage house is a wonderful space to venture forth and see Tucson. You can walk the U of A campus, catch the streetcar to downtown, hike the safe neighborhood, etc. There is a private courtyard to do work, which also has a nice grill. We didn't cook much but the enjoyed the local restaurants. We stayed for 10 days and would have liked to stay longer! We had zero issues with the property and Erica even kindly allowed us an early check-in. Great VRBO experience!

The unit was comfortable, welcoming, and lovingly decorated with Southwestern art. We enjoyed having breakfast on the cute sun porch. Erika was friendly, extremely helpful and provided us with lots of information about things to do in Tucson. The only issue we had, as seniors, was maneuvering the stairs going up to the unit. We would consider a downstairs unit in the future.

I loved everything about this property. The owne has thoughtfully and tastefully decorated this upstairs space, complete with a screened room, perfect for late summer mornings and evenings. Super easy check-in and out. I hope to come back to Tucson in the winter and stay at Ericka's villa!

Property owner, Erica, has decorated her carriage house with wonderful antiques and treasures. The house had every amenity one would need. Close to U of A in the Historic neighborhood of Sam Hughes. Air conditioning is quiet and works well. Erica was accommodating , professional and helpful. We will be back!

Really enjoyed this stay. The property was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was easily accessible and in a great location. We very much appreciated the availability of coffee and enjoyed drinking it on the balcony. We’ve already referred this property to a friend who visits Tucson regularly. It’s a perfect place for a couple or a single person. Thank you!

Wonderful stay
Tortuga is one of three properties at the same location you can rent from Erika and after she gave me a tour of all three I definitely want to return to stay in all of them! I was very pleased with the location, amenities, price, and communication with the host. This is a beautiful property that is lovingly cared for. Highly recommend

I so enjoyed staying at this cozy property. The Southwestern decor was truly amazing, and the porch and patio areas were so nice. I didn't have a car, but walked to Flora's for groceries and a breakfast - highly recommend. My host, Erica, was wonderful and replied promptly to my inquiries.

We loved our six days in the Villa Blanca Tortuga. It's in a great and safe neighborhood, walking distance to good restaurants, the university, and 4th Avenue. It's a cozy little nest full of interesting art and the most comfy king size bed I've even slept in!

Comfy Perch in Tucson
We enjoyed a terrific stay over a few days at this property in the Sam Hughes neighborhood in Tucson. Easy walk to the U of A campus, and to some great little restaurants, and it has a private patio perfect for quiet contemplation of one's beer or margarita. The hosts made it very easy to come and go, and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

It was a 1920’s casita, well furnished, very clean and decorated in the southwestern style. Owner provides detailed yon getting to the site. I wii use again when I return to Tucson.
