This grand ocean front home 'The Majestic SandCastle' is fully equipped for great vacations year round.. Spectacular ocean views of sunrise over the beach and the Folly Beach Pier. If you have stayed here before, Please note that the sleeping arrangements have been updated. There are four bedrooms with one king bed each and one other room with a queen bed. - The house sleeps 10. This home has elevator access to the first floor. One master king suite with whirlpool is located on the first floor. Up the traditional stairway to the second floor is a second master king suite with luxurious bath with whirlpool and separate shower. It has a sitting area with entertainment center and private ocean front deck with lounge seating. Also on the second floor is another king bedroom and a queen sleeping area which share a full hallway bathroom. The third master king suite is up a spiral stairway in the studio and has a half bath. This home has extremely spacious living quarters and perfect for multi-generation families! The first floor includes hardwood floors, two full kitchens for maximum cooking options! Also on first floor is two living rooms with seating and TVs, 3 dining tables/areas, coffee bar, fireplace and large sunroom with TV and desk area. Laundry room with utility sink included in laundry room. Outside, there is ample ocean front deck area with seating, table with umbrella, rinsing shower, hoses, grilling area and picnic tables. You can't beat this house for the ultimate beach stay. It is perfect year round for family gatherings! WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! PLEASE SELECT THE "PET" BUTTON. Maximum 2 dogs, 50lb. each - contact owner if your pet is over 50 lbs. , we do not accept cats or birds. The pet fee is $95.00 plus tax and covers both dogs. Please let me know the breed/s and weight/s of your dog/s upon booking. Please review and "ACCEPT" the Rental Agreement upon booking.

This aging beach house on an active coast had everything our family (boomer grandparents, millennial kids, one active toddler, and two doodles) needed. We enjoyed the three common areas, the extensive decks, and comfortable beds and furnishings.

We stayed here with our family - 12 total adults and 1 infant (18-months). We stayed for 4 days for our wedding weekend. The house was perfect and the host was extremely accommodating and responsive. The checkin and checkout process was simple and there was no stress involved. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

The house is bright and spacious and in a great location. We were a large group and never felt crowded. Loved the big front decks and beautiful views. So convenient to have access to a large amount of beach chairs and beach towels. We had a bit of trouble with the broken blinds around the house just trying to get light in or not. But would definitely return.

Property was close to the beach. Perfect location! Big enough to accommodate 12 people. But it was not maintained well. We have seen bugs in the house as soon as we checked-in.

The house fit our extended family of 13 quite well. House was very clean and the location was great! Plenty of space to hang out and to sleep. Amazing house to play hide and seek ;)

We absolutely loved the house..very clean with plenty of rooms..easy beach access..wonderful views of the ocean..peaceful..great location..well equiped kitchens..also a big plus that our dog was able to be there too

There were 8 adults and 4 kids
And a dog. The house had plenty of room for all to enjoy being together or room to sit quietly. We enjoyed the ocean front veiw of the dolphins every morning!
Our first two days there was stormy and rainy and kept us inside. But there was plenty of room for adults and kids to have space. We loved our time there and hope to go back again with family.
Alicia was very welcoming and quick to respond to any of our questions!

Nice beach house with plenty of room for get togethers but privacy as well. The beach front is somewhat challenged by tides, difficult to walk along water unless low time but the house deck and sunroom were lovely. Some issues with broken things but very relaxing space and views.

Everything was extremely easy and convenient, from booking to checkin/out, and property was exactly as advertised. Spacious, clean and most accommodating for 4 families with multiple children. Three Master Suites and 2 multiple bedrooms provided plenty of privacy, while the common rooms easily handled the whole crowd together. Two full kitchens made feeding our large group very easy. Our second Family Holiday in this beautiful house, and hopefully not our last!

House is very welcoming..the twenty-somethings in our group said it "felt like home" ..lots of spaces to hang out..deck was awesome..our son surfed right in front of the house one day..we could walk to "downtown Folly"for restaurants..shopping..and different vibe than summer..lots of stars at night and we had lots of sunshine! Can't wait to return!

Pros: Beautiful home. Right on the beach. Lots of room and the ability to spread out. Master suite has a private beachfront balcony and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The house was very clean and the checkin was very simple. Pets are welcome & there’s a great little fenced-in area for you to take them out.
Con: (full disclosure: we do not like to complain and also have strangers pop in on our vacation so we did not contact the owners across the street but then they live across the street so the assumption would be they stay pretty aware of the house). The air conditioning wasn’t working in the little apartment making it pretty unusable. There were boards on the pier popping up. We had toddlers so my husband nailed them back down. The cable was weird. Kept saying an unused box needed to be unplugged. We ended signing into all our streaming so that was fine. And the blinds on the windows. They were disintegrating. Throughout the house there were slats missing. No big deal. But the blinds on the door heading out…every time we raised them up slats kept falling out. We ended up having to take it down to keep it from completely disintegrating.
All in all, it is a beautiful home and if you have a large group and want a home right on the beach this could be for you. And since the owners do live right across the street I’m sure they could have addressed some of the issues. And the little fenced-in area for my little pups? Super great.

This was a great property for us all to have a wonderful time at the beach! The owner was very accommodating and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again if we come to Folly Beach.

Glazier family vacation
We were in Folly Beach for a family reunion with relatives coming from North Carolina, Charleston, New England, Florida and Alaska. We all had the best time and a big contributing factor was the house. It was big enough for my family and being right on the beach was great as we would set up a tent and spend the day. The other members of the family would stop by and join us. All in all we had a great time and were sad to leave. Everything connected to booking a house was smooth and easy. We’re planning on returning next year.

House and beach were amazing. So much space to spread a family out.
The property was great. Just a few comments to the negative. We were looking for light blankets for the beds. And the deck table is rusted and one leg of the table is broken - dangerous for children and pets. Also, rust particules fall on the deck. Other than that - awesome and great.

Overall , very good. We had not stayed at this property in five years. Starting to show some aging that should be addressed. Some simple ones like rusting latches on gates. Outdoor furniture should be updated. As rental prices have gone up, I think investments should as well. Overall, solid place but has lost a little of its luster.

From entry to exit, our stay was perfect. The spacious house has everything for a multi-family stay. The location is perfect for teenagers to bike into town or walk to pier. The kitchens are well stocked for the finest cooks. The linens were great. 2nd floor master suite king bed might need an update as during our 5 nights, the bed revealed a few hard spots, but this would not deter me from going back. Bath water pressure and water temps were superior. AC was spot on. The sunroom is a lovely addition with the deck for a large family to gather. I can't say enough good things about our stay. We hope to return when it's warm enough to get in the water. Great house and location. 10 plus star!!!

PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT!
We had a group of 14 staying and this house worked perfectly for us. The location is great! The elevator was a huge plus for loading and unloading, and the sunroom is much larger than what I expected from the listing. The ocean view and waking up to the sunrise view from the deck was amazing!! Not gonna lie, I was looking up dates to come back on the ride home!! Don’t hesitate to book your stay…..unless it’s the same dates we want to come back!!
