About this bed and breakfast
740 square feet to enjoy the country atmosphere! We are excited to have you experience our newly remodeled apartment ready for a cozy getaway. The private patio is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Speakers allow you to listen to your favorite music outside. In the country, but 2 miles off the freeway, Manger 6 is 15 minutes from historic Ashtabula Harbor; 11 minutes from Downtown Conneaut.; 25 minutes from the Spire; 15 minutes from wineries in Conneaut and 25 minutes from all of the Grand River region wineries. This is a guest house that shares the driveway with our main house. You have your own entrance, which has a pass-coded door. There is a private patio that is canopied in the summer, where you can sit and watch for the deer who regularly walk across the back yard. There is a grill and fire pit on the patio

Gary & Linda were very kind. We had everything we needed. It was great to meet them. We appreciated the extra touches very much. We were able to bring our dog which was a bonus and she enjoyed walks in their yard.

For us the location couldn't be better. To be honest we were a little skeptical because it was so affordable. Turns out it was perfectly clean, cozy and private. We come back every other year or so. We now have a little home away from home.

Linda and Gary are the nicest people who go the extra mile for their guests. The amenities in the apartment are extensive., they have thought of everything you could want or need to make your stay great. The country location is very peaceful and calming.

Exceptional Hosts
Right from the start Gary and Linda went above and beyond to extend a warm welcome and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Manger 6 is easy to find even at night because of the bright star lit up above the roof. I appreciate the automatic outdoor lights, ample (and very clean) space, complimentary water bottles and snack bars, gorgeous back yard, and stocked book shelf with the invitation to take a book if it still needs to be finished. The joyful, kind and loving spirit of the hosts is evident and we would definitely stay again.

Such a great find! We arrived right before a huge snow storm. Gary, the manager, has bent over backwards to make our stay more than enjoyable. The facility is spacious, extremely clean, very quite and has lot’s of room for our dog to roam on. We would highly recommend this facility to any weary traveler looking for a safe place to rest for the night.

We loved our stay here. If you want to relax, the setting couldn't be more ideal with breezy porch and huge yard (which our dogs especially loved). And when you want to get out, there is WAY more to do than time permits with Ashtabula, Lake Erie and Lake Pymatuning all very close. This was a great place for us!

Oh my gosh! We absolutely loved staying in Linda and Gary’s guest house! It was just what we needed after a long trip. It was beautiful to wake up to the amazing view of the expansive backyard.

My mom ended up going by herself, and the Van Burens took care of all of her needs. It snowed a lot during her stay, and they looked out for her to make sure she was safe.

The pictures do not do this adorable apartment justice. We loved the patio and fire pit. They provided wood and speakers outside so we could listen to music. The rooms are much bigger and cuter than the pictures show. We really enjoyed our stay. Owners were lovely people and very accommodating.

Wonderful property and owners
This is a clean, comfortable rental. Gary and Linda are wonderful. However, as an older inter-racial couple, we were wary of the area because of the Confederate flag flying not far away at a neighbor's house. This is no reflection on Gary and Linda, who welcomed us with open arms.

Terrific Place and Terrific People
The vanBurens have a wonderful , peaceful place to stay. The amenities are in great condition, the yard is kept, AC works great. Everything you need to live is provided (except food). Book a stay and you will want to book your next visit before you leave.

Our stay was very enjoyable
This property completely lived up to the description. It was very up-to-date and peaceful. It had many amenities that most places don't.
What can I say about the owners, Gary & Linda, except that they were the perfect hosts. They greeted us shortly after we arrive and we felt like family from the minute we met them. They sat with us by the fire one night and we had such a wonderful time with them.
It will definitely be a place we would love to come back to in the future. I know they will leave the star on for us. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay.

Amazing night stay!
Was just looking to get out of the house and get away for a night. Stumbled upon Gary’s listing best decision. From the moment We pulled in the driveway till the moment we pulled out nothing but good things to say!! I will being doing business with Gary in the future definitely earned a repeat customer!!

Great Lake Getaway
We wanted a quiet weekend getaway and this was a great choice. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Everything was immaculate and very inviting! We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well stocked. Owners live onsite, and were attentive and friendly. The story behind how Manger 6 came to be is heartwarming and a testament to what great people the owners are!
For the area, we went to a couple wineries in the area (Fireside Winery in GOTL and Spring Hill Winery). Both were fun and had live music. We also hiked around parts of the Lake. Dinner out at Rennicks Meat Market was fantastic! The highlight of the weekend was watching the amazing sunset on the water at Walnut Park.
We would def come back again!
