Great little hideaway in the heart of Rockaway Beach. Perfect for our group of 4!

Really liked the place. Couldn't get the blue ray/dvd player to work which is too bad as they have a great selection to choose from. Maybe some kind of instructions would be helpful. There are two plugins in the kitchen and the one where the coffee maker is located does not work, had to move it to the only other plug in near the counters. They do have a large dog kennel in the upstairs master bedroom that really came in handy as we couldn't bring ours, no room in the car. We had a great time.

This property was perfect for our family. Our toddlers loved all the bubbles, color supplies and movie options. They also thought the dog crate upstairs made the perfect fort. :) we were very happy with our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

We loved our stay in Rockaway Beach. The house is centrally located; it was easy to walk to food or the beach. The house was very clean. The kitchen was full of dishes, silverware, cookware, etc. which sometimes isn't the case. The house was well stocked with linens, blankets, towels, pillows and everything you need to be comfortable. The seating was comfortable except for the dining room chairs. The house was perfect for families traveling with dogs. The upstairs bed was very soft, the downstairs bed was more firm. The kitchen and bathrooms were a bit outdated, but clean and well maintained.

The house was a great set up for family fun and dogs. We had dinner with friends and games at the table, movies with our immediate family in the living room and walk to the beach. With only one of the bedrooms upstairs, it was great for our old dog who couldn’t make it up the stairs. He missed out on nothing! Thank you! My 11 y/o son said it was one of his favorite trips ever !

Great home with a great location and amazing backyard space. It is cozy, yet spacious. Communication is always great. We highly recommend it!

This is a fantastic property with great amenities and easy beach access. There are so many thoughtful touches around the house for dogs and humans alike! We look forward to staying here again!

The house is in a great location, only about 2.5 blocks from the beach. In a quiet little neighborhood. The house itself didn’t look like it had been cleaned very well though. My friends found dog hair in the pull out bed and there was dirt on counters and in the bathroom floors. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Communication with owners was very good.

A perfect location for my wife and me, along with our two dogs. Very clean, and the owners thought of everything - especially if you have pets. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, easy walk to the beach, all set up for dogs, fenced yard. We had a wonderful time. The bubbles were a hit with our 3 year old grandson, the toys wre great too! Kitchen was well stocked and having the BBQ worked well for us, we used it 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. Great place, would definitely stay agsin!

Enjoyed the open floor plan, big screen TV, well equipped kitchen, and backyard. Beach is right across the street, and there's a "cart" three doors down serving breakfast, coffee, and smoothies. Nice place, great location.

We were extremely impressed. The owners communication was great. It was close to the beach and to town. The home was spacious and had a huge deck. The owners went above and beyond with little "extras" throughout the house. I would highly recommend this property and definitely plan to stay again.

This was the perfect place for our stay. The house was well equipped with nice quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. Nice quiet location and easy walk to the beach. Owners are quick to respond to questions and give you their cell numbers for during your stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The owners of this property have thought of everything that is needed to have a comfortable stay here! Games, movies, books, campfire, bbq, all cutlery and kitchen equipment. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Would be willing to come here again!

Wonderful modern home with plenty of amenities. such as reliable wi-fi, cable, and pets allowed! Big plus was the fenced yard, keeping in my fur-babies.

Wished the beds were just a little bigger and the toilet continued to run after each flush. However I love this town and every thing is in walking distance. Especially the beach. The house is so dog friendly with toys, treats, leashes and even a crate. Extra blankets all over to cover up with while relaxing in the evening. Beautiful Mountain View’s off the back deck and very quiet neighborhood. I will be back and have already told a friend about this house. And..... everyone in this town is so friendly and accommodating

From the moment you walk through the door (they have a key lock that actually works) til you are upstairs, there is surprise after surprise. We would not hesitate to recommend this as a wonderful place to vacation.

The house was perfect, it had everything you could need. Lots of movies and games. I would stay there again in a minute.

My 5 girl cousins and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beacon. It was a short walk to the beach--2 blocks. There was a coffee stand at the end of Beacon Street that 2 of my cousins loved. The house was well-appointed. It had all the cookware needed as well as dishes. There were extra spices and oils needed for cooking which we appreciated. There was an array of movies to watch late into the night. Beds were comfortable as well as the couches. We did leave a suggestion on how to get the shower to work. It took all 6 heads for us to figure out how to get the faucet to turn from tub to shower. We left the directions in the book used for directions on the house. Lots of the shops were closed when we were in Rockaway and did not open up until Thursday, our day to leave. This was somewhat disappointing, since it was at the height of tourist season. However, we did go to Tillamook and Seaside.. I would recommend The Beacon at Rockaway to friends and family. The 6 of us made great memories!

When they say for families they mean it! They had kid movies, books, bubbles and more. Very cute and cozy inside. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.

This was such a lovely home with a great backyard to soak up the sun and play with the dog. It had everything you could need which made the stay a breeze! Great personal touches that left you feeling very welcomed in the space. I look forward to coming back to this home in the future!

The place was cozy, large enough for 5 of us to have plenty of room. We loved that they were perfectly set up for pets with a large back yard, extra toys and leashes. The house was full of the amenities that you enjoy at home but don’t want to travel with. Bonus points that they had a Xmas tree set up so we could really feel at home for the holiday. Highly recommend and we’d love to come back again!
