This cottage is perfect walking distance to Starbucks, Kroger Supermarket, Numerous Shopping and Eating Establishments. 5 minutes from everything Midtown and University of Memphis has to offer....Brooks Museum, Overton Park,Levitt Shell, Overton Square.... 20+ restaurants, bars,movie theater,Ballet Memphis,2 theater groups and live music. 15 minute drive to downtown attractions and 20 mins to Graceland. I am a local contractor and designer who has Renovated this cottage to new heights,with attention to the details. Everything is new. Kitchen has gas range cooking and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook a memorable meal. Cozy dining nook has seating for four and also doubles as a convenient work station. The one bedroom comes with a Queen bed and luxurious bedding and linens. 2 HDTV with cable,Netflix and WiFi provided to my guests. Includes the use of a One Car Garage parking just steps from the entry. My goal in choices of finishes and furnishings was to provide better than a 5 star hotel quality me know if I accomplished my goal !! If I missed anything let me know and it will be provided.

We had a great time visiting Memphis. This property is very comfortable and it was easy to navigate around Memphis from there. We really liked that we could walk to restaurants and a grocery store. Ben is very helpful and quick to respond to questions.

This was our first VRBO in Memphis and this was a great location close to the University of Memphis. Owner communicated well and prepped everything well. Hope to come back.

Very good place for our short trip to Memphis. We had access to a garage which was much appreciated. The unit was a bit worn but overall clean and all that we needed. It was very close to business area with restaurants that could be walked to. We had a pleasant stay.

Neighbor noise was terrible! 😠
Furniture could use updating!! Tiny couch!! Bedroom and bath were fine and did enjoy having a wash/dryer-

Rest & Relaxation
I wanted a vacay after my birthday vacay where I could have time to myself to refocus. This charming cottage was as advertised. The only concern I had was a window pane was missing from the door, but it had a temporary fix. The only downside was I couldn’t have my shih tzu visit. But I understood the hosts reason. Overall I got exactly what I needed. Rest and relaxation. I would definitely rebook this cottage in the future. I enjoyed this neighborhood and space so much I’m considering relocating. I had an AMAZING experience. I will definitely return.

This location was very convenient for all that we wanted to see and do in Memphis. It was quite roomy. The living room furniture and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was adequately supplied. However, we were most disappointed when we arrived to see a piece of plywood covering a missing pane of glass in the exterior door. Further, there were multiple spots of peeling paint in the bathroom, and the toilet was not properly secured to the floor. While every place has some oops and requires routine maintenance, these shortcomings were more aggravating given that the listing stated recently updated by a contractor.

Great location!
Was a great location on a quiet street, close to everything we wanted to see and do. This is actually a house split into three separate apartments; and people living/staying in other were not very noisy, but when you aren't used to it, it's very noticeable. Still much, much better and cheaper than staying in a hotel. I would stay here if ever in Memphis again.

Great place!!
It was just as the pictures showed! Very clean and quiet. It was real close to where I needed to be ever morning. Ben was easy to work with. If I ever need a place to stay again in Memphis, I’ll ask for this place.

Great long weekend in Memphis
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here. The location was central to a lot of things we wanted to either east or towards downtown. The house came with everything we needed, and having the garage to store our car each night was a plus. A nice, laid-back neighborhood. Some of the paint was peeling in the bathroom, but other than that the house and property were great. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in town.
The Mediterranean deli down the street was very good too. I recommend staying here for the location and price!

Ben was great and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking into Graceland or any of the other attractions in the area. Don't forget the BBQ!

Comfy and Cozy
My husband and I stayed at the Green Door for 4 nights while I attended a conference. The home was very clean with excellent amenities. The home was located close to restaurants, grocery stores and Starbucks. The neighborhood was quaint and established. I would recommend the green door to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet living space.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay
Very nicely appointed apartment, and in a great location. The only thing I did not care for was the fact that we were required to park in the one car garage in the back to be out of the way of permanent tenants in the other parts of the building. That was not very convenient for us and the garage was full of spider webs and spider eggs and very dark inside at night. You were also given the option of parking on the street but we didn't want our car on the street, especially since in has an out of state tag and also wasn't very convenient for loading and unloading.

A great stay in Memphis from an Arizona couple
This was our first visit to Memphis and this place really made our stay enjoyable. The duplex is as described and very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is ideal as it is so close to everything. Getting around Memphis was very easy, but a car is really necessary. There is a designated parking garage that comes with the place. It can be tricky to park in if you have a large car or suv. There is, however ample parking on the street. We did have some minor issues with the bathroom and made Ben aware of them. He said he was in the process of correcting them. There was nothing that detracted from our stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway from the tourist areas.

Great stay
We had a nice stay at the Green Door house. The residential neighborhood is charming, with many large trees and cute houses along the street. A car is definitely required, as getting to downtown is a trek. The house was relatively close to the fabulous zoo and a large park. We recommend going down to mud island and checking out the museum and the 5 block scale model of the Mississippi River. Other things we enjoyed in Memphis were Beale St. and Graceland.

5 STARS HANDS DOWN!!! AMAZING ALL AROUND!!!
This place was extremely comfortable with all the necessities already provided. I mean a ton of thought was put into what guest would need or just in case you forgot to pack something. It's super clean and we especially loved eating breakfast at the table in front of the bay window. Owner's instructions were spot on and we appreciated the designated garage parking with an option to park on the street as well. After being spoiled here, I don't believe I will return to hotel rooms again. I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this renovated cottage. Thank you, Ben, for sharing your property. WE LOVED IT AND WILL DEFINITELY RETURN WE VISIT AGAIN!!!

Very cute and convenient property. Appreciated the cleanliness and additional cleaning supplies being provided. Being close to shops, interstate and diners is not an exaggeration with this house. Also neighbors are very friendly.
On the flip side, the bathroom is extremely cold all the time. The parking is not ideal either. There is a long driveway that can not be utilized as it blocks the other tenants. There is a spooky garage and street parking that can be used.
