About this house rental
Located in Cape Coral, this lovely house for $254 per night is a great choice for your next trip. The perfect place to relax in the warmth and serenity of Cape Coral! This 2,500 sq.ft, beautifully remodeled, waterfront home is on a quiet cul-de-sac street. It is a three bedroom, two bath private home with direct gulf access and is on a canal just 10 minutes from Redfish Cove. It is completely furnished with every need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Our home is conveniently located in a great residential neighborhood within short driving distance to beaches, golf courses, fishing, the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins training camps, grocery stores, restaurants, unique shops and Outlet Malls. The main living area is an open floor plan. The fully-equipped kitchen is all new including stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, wet bar, granite counters and is open to the dining area and living room area which opens directly to the lanai featuring pool, spa, outdoor bar and grilling area, outdoor television, propane fire pit, numerous seating area. The spacious master bedroom, complete with queen bed, desk, walk-in closet, and tv, has direct access to the lanai/pool area. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower, 2 person Jacuzzi tub, and double sinks. Second bedroom with queen bed with widescreen TV shares a bath with third bedroom with two twin beds and widescreen TV. The private, fenced-in backyard offers many amenities. Under the 2,000 sq. ft screened-in lanai is a beach entry, gunite pool. The jetted spa tub flows into the heated pool. There is plenty of seating areas both in and out of the sun. The propane fire pit offers great relaxing family evening time. The private dock on the gulf access canal runs the width of the property. Available to all are two kayaks for your enjoyment exploring the canals and waterways. Please note the maximum number of guest allowed on the property is 8, if you have plans of other people being on the property past listed guests please request prior to booking, we do not allow parties or gatherings. Boat rental 2024, 23ft, triple tube, 250 hp, tritoon pontoon boat. Safe stable comfortable easy to operate family boat that will cruise with other boats in the area. 2 days $831 3 days $1025 4 days $1,300 5 days $1,525 6 days $1,732 Plus 6.5% sales tax The best way to experience beautiful Cape Coral and the surrounding area is by boat. Cape Coral has over 400 miles of tropical waterways, the most in the world! You can go to many famous local beaches by boat, Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach, Caya Costa, and many more. Numerous local restaurants are available by water, along with much wildlife to be seen including dolphins, manatees, many varieties of birds, and the miles of natural mangroves. We barely use our car when in Cape Coral. No more than total of eight registered guests allowed on the boat. If you decide to rent the pontoon boat payment is due with the final house payment 2 weeks prior to arrival. Prior to renting the boat I would want to understand your boating experience. Pool maintenance is done weekly on Friday mornings, lawn and yard maintenance is done on Wednesday mornings.

The house was great and John was quick to respond. The one bathroom had a window with a spray tint that was peeling off. John responded quickly, but in the end we just put towels up. This did mean, however, that we were short bath towels, but since it was a short stay, it wasn't that big a deal.
The house was nicely furnished with everything you'll need, including a boat (for rent)! The kids didn't leave the pool very much and that was the primary reason we picked this house.
We would definitely stay again.

Our stay lasted ~7 weeks and we had a great time. Wish we could of stayed longer. House was perfect for my wife and I, as well as, when we had guests. The outdoor area was great and where we spent much of our time. Having the boat was a huge plus and would recommend others to utilize it. Our owner, John was fantastic and as a veteran VRBO tenant, the most responsive owner we have ever had. Would highly recommend this location.

Loved our stay. The property was beautiful. The pool and hot tub were a great reprieve after being out on the water all day. There was no wine bottle opener, but I purchased one and left it. The only downfall is boat trailer storage. Thankfully we had family nearby and were able to stow our trailer there. We might have been able to keep it in the garage but there was a car in there. I googled storage per the recommendation of the owner but could not find anything affordable that would let us store for 1 week. Most local places rent for 1 month. If you don't have that concern then this is the place to stay!

My husband an I with our 20 year old son and his buddy stayed 5 nights at John’s place. It was wonderful. The pool and hot tub were used regularly. Fishing off the dock was one of our highlights. We rented the boat for two days which was excellent! John was very flexible to accommodate us changing one of the rental days to coincide with the weather.
The house was clean, the beds were comfortable.
There is everything you need for cooking.
We had a wonderful time and would rent again.

We loved the house! Great kitchen and outdoor grill. We watched football and ate dinner every night at the outdoor patio. The kids were in the pool more than on land the entire stay. They loved the kayaks and the canal is a dead end so it felt safe for them to do by themselves. We used the boat too and it made the trip! We normally stay in Sanibel but this was an even better way to do the beaches. We saw countless dolphin each day. It’s three minutes from Publix which was super convenient. The host was very communicative. We are already talking about when we can come back!

Beautiful home in a great location. Nice pool and spa. Excited to have rented the boat available with the home. Less than a 10 minute drive to the beach. Close to everything! The property manager was very welcoming and easily accessible.

Great experience. Our first time renting a Vrbo but won’t be our last. Would definitely come back to this house. No complaints, other than it was a little bit of a drive to the ocean, but a great location for everything else. Lots of great places to eat very close to the house, and a grocery store and dollar store just a couple blocks away. The pool and spa were fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Just be prepared for the master shower- we could only get it to spray in a ‘mist’ setting, so it was not exactly relaxing. :) everything else was great. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Perfect perfect perfect... our three techie grandsons needed a small intervention to make sure they had not permanently become incompatible with the sun. We had heard great things from friends about going the VRBO route instead of the usual hotel. It is our new favorite way to vacation.
The boys used the pool all day everyday and the drive to the beach was easy , as was getting to the store. This old lady walked to Publix and back with one of the boys no problem.

Great home with everything thing you need or want in an excellent location to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We rented the boat, I would highly recommend as we spent most days on the water at beaches, viewing dolphins, manatees, a variety of birds and beautiful senary.

Just as Advertised!
We stayed for three nights and this Ohio family thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spa! Many extras were here including beach gear, cooler, towels, and two kayaks. We did spend a day on Sanibel Island and had sting rays casually swimming by us while we were in the water. There was a banana tree in the yard at the home loaded with bananas that a large iguana was enjoying. We had a wonderful time and had everything we needed! Thank you!

I really love the extra precautions around the pool area, my children had access to the pool when I wanted them too. Everyone had plenty of room and time to relax and enjoy themselves each day. Loved doing family meals out on the patio and cooking in the spacious kitchen. It was a great way to spend a family vacation.

Our family of 4 rented this home for Spring Break. John was wonderful. I had a few questions and he was quick to reply.
House was clean and had everything we needed. Pool/hot tub was used and enjoyed daily. We rented the boat for 2 days. So convenient to have right outside your backdoor. We found out how easy it was to get to Fort Myers, day dock the boat and enjoy the beach area.
We liked where the house was located. Close to anything we needed and a very short drive down to the Yacht Club beach area, which we frequented almost daily.
Would definitely rent again! Thank you!

Relaxing Oasis
The property is beautiful! Very easy to get to and go places from. The pool area and lanai were fantastic. John is extremely easy to work with and VERY agreeable to changes! We certainly would rent this property again. Oh, and the boat is a lovely extra!

The access and communication to the host and this property were very good as we had no problems getting into the home and communicating any questions or concerns to the Host. The location in Cape Coral was ideal for our purposes and accessible to a lot of stuff just by walking. The pool, hot tub, back pool patio were as advertised and we very much enjoyed spending time in that area. The hot tub was somewhat of a mystery as it emptied after 6pm (not really sure why and I believe it was on a noon-6pm timer). We paid extra to have the Tri-toon boat which was nice to have as well. The inside rooms, walls, flooring was somewhat worn and in some areas the tiles were broken. The house could have been a bit more clean and freshened up. The bedding was also needing to be updated and some of the furniture as well. Light switches everywhere that you really need to know which switch turns on which inside or outside light as they are not really in expected location - not that big of a deal. Our Biggest Concern was that we had the sewer line back up into the house on our last night and the Host had a hard time getting a plumber there until the next day (we left early as we had no bathroom or water usage). I understand the Hosts position, however, VRBO was of NO HELP! Very disappointed in them. We've rented vacation homes in the past so are expectations are real as this wasn't our first house rental rodeo.
