Dirty, missing a bed, and good luck getting in touch with customer service.

The location of the property was excellent! Within walking distance to the slopes. And with better customer service and cleaning crew it has major potential.

Our check in time was 4 PM. However at that time I had not received the access code to enter the apartment. It took forever for us to get in touch with anyone to receive it. Finally got in touch with someone via text and was told that I could not receive the access code until I called Vacasa and confirmed my identity. Proceeded to do that and sat on hold for 30 minutes. Was then messaged another number to call and sat on hold again. No one ever answered any of the three customer service phone numbers I was given. I would occasionally receive text messages from a customer service rep but not regularly and they refused to Confirm my identity or give access code through Messages. My family and I were forced to sit in our car outside of the apartment until almost 10 PM when someone finally messaged me a fourth customer service phone number to call where someone did answer. To “confirm my identity“ was literally just asking me my birthdate?? so we missed the first six hours of our rental. Finally at 10 PM we were able to enter only to find that the guests before us clearly had very small children and there were sticky food handprints all over the counters and tables that we cleaned ourselves. The fourth room that was advertised to have four twin beds in it actually only had three twin beds. so one person in our party had to sleep on the sofa. The listing clearly shows a picture with four beds in it so not sure how an entire bed disappeared without them acknowledging it.

Vintage 1980 design and decor

The location was right across the street from the Sugar Mountain ski lodge.

It was hard to tell from the photos, but this place had not been updated since the 1980’s. Dusty rose bath tub and blinds... Bad quality cabinets 40 years ago. The freezer door didn’t open all the way. Some drawers couldn’t open unless you opened the oven door a certain way. The place needs to be gutted and completely renovated. The kitchen was not well equipped. It appeared as though the owners put together all the old pots, pans and dishes they did not want and brought them up to the second house. Even the basics like a cutting board and colander where not there. Don’t bother trying to use the washing machine and dryer. It took 3 hours to dry our clothes once they went through a wash cycle. Everything was tired and dated. Even if they cut the price per night in half this place should not be listed as a vacation rental in its current condition. Very surprised that Booking.com even listed this property in its current condition.
