This neighborhood is close to where my sister lives. It worked perfectly for us (myself, my daughter, and her 3-yr old son.

Extremely clean and had everything. Only spent time basically sleeping in location but it was fine. Only complaints (if you want to call them that) were the following: 1. Requirement to not wear shoes in place. Seems to be very California like (request to not wear shoes). Little annoying but OK. 2. Bed was a bit on the smaller side. Not sure the size but definitely not king. Room size might have something to do with this. Honestly, we should have looked at bed size before booking if necessary. We were OK with bed size. 3. Nest HVAC was a little confusing. But was cool enough for our stay. On a positive note, the place had a washer and dryer which was awesome. Might want to consider putting a stool to get into top dryer (for someone shorter). The number of towels and sheets was huge. They were great! Very quiet area. Seemed newly renovated and nice place! Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel quality bedding and bath accommodations with a fully stocked kitchen. The host responded quickly and access was seamless. The location was perfect for access to supermarket and freeways for dining and entertainment. Highly recommend this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oakland while attending the Cal Berkeley graduation. The apartment was clean, open, and quiet. A well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of storage. The outdoor patio was a bonus and for us from the Pacific NW- a nice spot to visit and sit in the sun. The neighborhood was cute little residential area and we enjoyed walks up the hill and to the local farmer’s market. I would definitely recommend for a home base while visiting Oakland or Berkeley.

Loved my family’s stay in this clean, cute and convenient home, just 10 minutes from my daughters home. We came to see her newborn baby and to celebrate an early Christmas together. This home was exactly what we were hoping for! I highly recommend it.

The photos don’t do it Justice! This is a beautifully updated, spacious 2 bedroom ground level duplex in a quiet Oakland neighborhood. It feels more spacious in person than it looks online. Everything was fresh and new and very very clean. Amazing wall artwork! Owner was very responsive when I had questions. Neighborhood was residential within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Didn’t use the kitchen much but it appeared to be well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

Quick weekend to the East Bay to attend our son’s graduation at Berkeley-apartment was perfect for Uber to Dinner, Ceremony, and celebrations throughout the area. Easy access to Oakland airport and great parking in front of unit. Kitchen seems like new and is furnished nicely. Everything is as pictured and plenty of towels and blankets. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

My partner, 2 year old and I had such a terrific stay at this Oakland home away from home. It was incredibly clean, modern and minimalist (less stuff for our kid to attempt to break) and had all of our preferred essentials - comfortable bedding, clean and easy-to-use kitchen with pots and pans and quiet at night. The definite above and beyond perks were the laundry machine, low bed height (good for our toddler), cozy couches and blankets, no stairs to climb, parking right in front and host who communicated quickly. This was our home base while we went on day trips to explore woods, beaches and the amazingness of the Bay Area. Thank you, Jide for making your home accessible to us and for being a great host!

We were happy to experience a second stay at this property. It was perfect for myself and my mobility-impaired husband, since there are no steps for entry or within the apartment, and there is a walk-in shower. The apartment is clean, well-equipped, and convenient to all East Bay points of interest, restaurants and shopping. Jide is a great host!

The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the unit has no central air, only heat. So even with the fans, it still gets stuffy and a little warm. Other than that, everything went really well and the place is nice and clean!

The place was very clean and comfortable. Everything was updated and kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms were stocked with all the essentials. Location was safe, quiet, and within 15-20min of the places we needed to go. The parking spot was also a plus since we had a rental car. Definitely recommend, and Jide was a great host!

The home is very modern and well stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Jide even has a binder made up with recommendations for dining, entertainment and local necessities. We loved the information in the binder!! Most important, we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Jide is an excellent host!

We were delighted to find this lovely property near our daughter. It was clean, comfortable and attractive, and the location could not have been better. It's unfortunate how expensive everything is in the Bay Area, however. This condo was everything we had hoped for, and it the midst of the catastrophic fires and horrible air quality, it was an oasis of peace!

I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the past 10 years. This property ranks at the top of all places I have stayed. Location is great. Layout, furniture, art on walls, beds, large closets, modern kitchen, shower, and parking space are all excellent. Jibe provided perfect instructions and answered every question almost immediately. We will stay here again the next time we are in the Oakland/San Francisco area.
