This was a great location....right by 7th street access. The property owner and manager were so nice and helpful. We had everything we needed and the place was clean and quaint...loved being up in treetops. And the best part was finding a place that was pet friendly so our two dogs could come with us!

Loved the location. Friendly caretakers with good tips about the island and placed to eat. Equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation at the beach. We even asked them if they had a cake pan for our little girl’s birthday celebration and they provided it. We would go again and stay at the same place in a heartbeat! Thanks so much!

Loved our stay! I will give a more in depth review below, but in short it’s got everything you need for a week at the beach with your family. House is clean and comes with what you need: 4 beach towels, 4 sets of bath/hand/wash towels with hand soap, dishes, salt, pepper, etc. I would recommend bringing hand soap for the kitchen and bathroom and any cooking condiments like olive oil, ketchup, mustard etc. There is a separate fenced in space for the upstairs and downstairs units with their own outdoor showers. This was great for our pups. We stayed in the upstairs unit and having the additional deck, which was also fenced in, was so appreciated. The beach access is about 100 yards from the house. Folly beach downtown is a short hike. It’s only 6.5 blocks from downtown but they are long blocks. Was fun walking into town and looking at all the houses. Where the house is situated people tend to drive pretty fast. There are no sidewalks so it felt unnerving with a baby in a stroller. Once you get closer to downtown there are more people walking in the road so drivers slow down. We found it best to walk with traffic and drivers went around us. Most restaurants were difficult to get in so I suggest packing food. I was hoping to eat out more but with the distance to downtown and the wait for a table we wound up getting fast food from Bert’s mostly. We did have some good pizza at Woodys and yummy tacos at taco boy. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This unit was just what we needed for a short stay for our family of three - which included my husband and my 18 year old daughter. Very short walk to the beach. The unit was clean and cozy. The spacious deck is a plus. We were able to walk to restaurants and the Market during our short stay. However, it would probably be preferable to have access to a car or golf cart for a longer stay. This unit is a good value given the proximity to the beach.

This is a cozy place. Check in and out was easy, and the host response was quick when I had a question. Everything was comfortable, neat, and clean. Easy access to the beach! Loved it and would book again!

Incredibly convenient beach access! House is a good pit stop if you plan to spend a lot of time out and about enjoying all that Folly has to offer.

This was our second year staying at one of the Chastain's properties, and it was another great experience! The condo was very clean, organized, and in a great location. We loved the large deck and easy access to the beach. Will definitely stay here again next time we come to Folly!

Amazing location close to the beach and downtown folly beach! Very clean and all the amenities you could need are in the condo! The deck and patio with grill was a very nice bonus! Little fenced in area was a plus for my dog as well! Would recommend to anyone! Would stay again no doubt!

Our rental had everything we needed-aside from a tv in the bedroom maybe. The place was clean, adequately stocked with all necessary supplies and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed our location, proximity to the beach and downtown. Our time here was just as fun/enjoyable as it was 12 years ago!! We may return much sooner next time.

Lovely location, house well stocked, no issues. Folly is a little busier of a location for me especially around the center of town, not very walking friendly (no sidewalks and LOTS of cars parked on the side of the street), I can only imagine during high season the struggle to get around. Not much of a beach during high tide, it seems like a great day trip for locals. Our family will not be going back unless we have another soccer tournament in the area. I will stick with Ocracoke where I can drive on the beach for days and never see anyone. Thanks for the accommodations they are lovely.

Fantastic place to explore Folly Beach. Close proximity to the beach and walking distance to town.

Everything was as described and we really enjoyed the outdoor space for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. Very walkable to both the beach and the town. We would definitely consider a stay at the property again.

This place was great for two people- location, amenities, parking. The beds were super comfortable and just over 1/2 mile from the main road. Would liked to have had a later check out time, but the early time made us get up and get on the road quicker.

We enjoyed area. There is lots of things to do around. Owner and manager were next door. Very helpful and nice. Apartment is old and outdated . Didn’t like shaggy carpet and old furniture covered with towels and sheets.

The entire process was smooth with the hiccup on my side but the entire process was smooth I enjoyed it and I will be calling back.

The location was perfect for our weekend - a friend's wedding in Charleston, followed by some Folly Beach time. Although the property is described as "freshly renovated," it seemed outdated and tired (old furnishings, peeling laminate cabinets, worn carpet, broken mini blinds). Nonetheless, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our visit to Folly Beach.

Clean and comfortable property but a bit smaller than expected and I guess I didn't read well, 2nd bath is just an outdoor shower. On the main road thru the beach properties was loud at times. Was unable to enjoy the beach as hurricanes Ian and Nicole eroded beach access. Was nice to be able to escape Charleston after sightseeing to a quiet beach town.

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s a great place to stay! Clean, close to town, and even closer to the beach.

No hassle, very enjoyable, will consider returning
