About this villa rental
Happy 2024! For our 2024 project, we have gutted both of our bathrooms and updated them for a new modern look. We also replaced the carpet in both bedrooms with updated tile. We have a brand new dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and lanai furniture. The unit has a 60" Smart TV, ceiling fans, 2 coffee makers (K Cup and regular), and a blender. It has a large living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, screed lanai, covered parking, central heat/AC, free WIFI and a large entertainment center with DVD and a tv (Netflix and Amazon Prime Video ready). The unit has a king-size bed, 2 twins, sleeper sofa - sleeps 6. About Island House -This beautifully maintained complex has 2 beach cabanas, a beach rinsing station, beach chairs, a large heated swimming pool, shuffleboard with a view, a game room, 2 gas grills available to all renters, and a scenic beachfront courtyard where you will experience the most amazing sunsets. There are many shops, restaurants, golfing, fishing, tennis, boating, parasailing, and galleries in the area. Bush Gardens, Adventure Island, and Disney are a short driving distance. So, pack your bags and come share in our paradise to make your vacation a most memorable one. We look forward to your experience.

Wonderful villa (39) at the Island House. Very clean, right by the pool and very quick walk to the beach. Large TV for watching the NCAA basketball tournament. Great kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The Island House staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our family of three were very pleased with the stay at the Island House Beach Resort V39. The four minute walk to the uncrowded beach for the resort was perfect. The beach was wide and perfect as I remember last being in Siesta Key 24 years ago.
Villa was clean. Beds were comfortable. I would make a recommendation for an update, as the couch and recliner are at the end of their useful life - not a lot of support, but didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.
We didn't have to ask for any help, but appears the management staff were active and visible during our stay.
I liked that our entrance was closed, so you had to drive all the way around the horseshoe to get to our villa. It is one building away from Midnight Pass so their is some road noise if sitting outside, but it didn't bother me, I liked the activity.
We ordered bikes from Siesta Key Bike and Kayak. Ate at My Village Pub (a lot of TVs for sports), Broken Egg for breakfast (staple of SK), Island Tap House and Mellow Mushroom (off island). All were great.
We would recommend and stay again! Thanks.

My family and I stayed at Island House for a week and we rented 2 condos. V39 was much more roomy and felt more homey. The location next to the pool was also great for our napping niece! Our favorite part was the beach area and being able to walk and watch the sunset every evening. We hope to return soon!

I did a lot of "shopping" for the right place to stay for our spring vacation. We stumbled upon Island House Beach Resort and Villa 39 and so glad we did. The location is awesome for the beach and getting around other parts of Sarasota. The game room and pool, which is right across from V39, are wonderful. The pool area is relaxing and the pool itself very clean and the perfect temperature. V39 was clean and had what we needed. Baths were nice, everything worked well. Great huge TV in living room. we wish the rocking chair would have been a recliner instead. Plenty of bath towels and the beds were comfortable. It would be nice if the beds in the guest bedroom could be joined upon request to provide a bigger bed. The few times I went to the front office it was closed which was a tad frustrating. Luckily we were able to figure things out and did not have any real issues. Loved the loungers at the beach and there were plenty of them even during spring break. If we return to Sarasota we would stay here again.

We’ve been coming here for a long time. We have friends who, also, come at the same time and have met some of the neighbors who are there at the same time. So, we have a great time.
We notice and appreciate updates to V39 every year. This year new carpet was added to the bedrooms and a new table and chairs for the porch and new bar stools. The villa is always very clean but I do think the tile floors need a professional cleaning.
The management and maintenance team are always helpful. We always look forward to returning.

Clean unit, great location!
We really enjoyed our stay at Island House Beach Resort. The villa was very clean and well equipped. The beach is just a short walk away, and the pool is directly across the street. The resort is just a short drive away from several restaurants and stores. Check in and check out was a simple, easy process. Highly recommend!

Villa 39 needs updating. Carpeting in bedrooms are old and dirty need to be cleaned/replaced. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom are old and saggy. Lanai table and chairs are Amish wood-every other villa has appropriate furnishings.

Great place to stay! Lots of room, clean, really short walk to the beach! Loved taking the free trolley to the Village - stopped right in front of Island House. Pool was also very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect, clean, comfortable home!
What a gem of a house! Our family very much enjoyed our stay at villa 39 at Island House Resort. The house is spotless and very up to date. Plenty of blankets and towels were provided for our family of five. We were even surprised to find that a pack n play was provided also. Very short and easy walk to the beach and the pool is right across the road from the villa. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return!

Everything we had hoped!
Staff was awesome for the minute we got there until we left a week later! Loved the house and even though we were there during the tropical storm, it was a great vacation and we made the best of it. We were a bit worried when the storm came through and had no idea where we should go if something happened. I feel like maybe the people running the resort should have let us know some information and when it started flooding we were a bit freaked too. It all turned out fine, but maybe have some type of emergency information available for these circumstance.

Great stay at a great price
Staff was helpful and friendly ! Villa was exactly as advertised plenty of room for family of 4 . Quick 2 minute walk to beach we were at front of complex from the beach. Beach was perfect there plenty of chairs and space . I highly recommend this vacation spot for families. Quick 7 minute drive to restaurants and shopping for the ladies! Pool was very nice but the sunset is perfect !

Beautiful!!!
Totally love the villa, well maintained and it had everything needed, I gave 4 stars only because the Wifi never worked during our stay, we wanted to watch Ne-x movies after a long day and just couldn't, very close to beach and the beach chairs provided were a hit! We 'll definitely come back.
