Beautiful Chalet overlooking The Lake with boat access. We loved it.

With the mid-summer weather in the forecast, we booked this cabin last minute for three nights for our family of four. Location was great. Close to hikes and we loved being by the lake. We were close to restaurants for dinner. Cabin is great — very clean and well stocked. Patti was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. It was a quiet, off season getaway!

Everything from the house, surrounding property, location and hosts were perfect! Cozy lake side home with a private dock, hiking trails nearby and easy access to downtown. Patti was super communicative and accommodating throughout the entire stay, there was no detail overlooked. We would absolutely come back!

Great cabin! Nice seculded area, comfy beds, pillow,sheets,couch and towels. Great water pressure. Fully stocked kitchen including spices and oils. Big fridge. Nice wood burning fireplace. Big TV. Beautiful outdoor deck with grill, partially covered. Quick responses. Exceptionally clean. Couldn't ask for much more except for winter to cooperate. Thank you for offering your cabin.

Check in was relatively easy other than they had workers on the property blocking the top of the driveway at another location they have that shares the road. House is NOT lakefront they have access to the lake front with a dock but you have to walk quite far or drive down which is not convenient and in my opinion a bit misleading when you advertise your home as lakefront, lakeview would be more accurate. The cherry on top is when I called Patti to let her know that I thought I smelled mold and that me and my daughter were having serious trouble with our asthma at the property, she assured me there was no mold and that she had allergies too yet there were 75 air freshners in the house so I am not sure how that doesn't bother her allergies. After stating we didn't think we could stay in the property due to the breathing trouble Patti assured us in writing by text message that a refund would be issued if we chose to leave early, I agreed to see if we could make it work and stay one more night. The next morning no improvements with the asthma so we informed Patti we would be leaving on day 2 of a 7 day stay, she assured me that a refund would be issued and even put in writing a week later that it was in the works before discontinuing all correspondence with me and never giving me my money back. Scam artists would be a step up, promise a refund, get me to leave the property and probably stay there themselves for the week I paid for, BEWARE STAYING HERE, basically stole 4 grand from me and my family.

Enjoyable and Memorable Christmas Get Away My daughter's family and I were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Patti's Chalet. The home was lovely offering every needed to enjoy our five day stay. It was an added bonus to be able to bring our two dogs. The wooded location was private and quite with a nice view of the lake and easily accessible to the town of Bolton Landing. We also had the pleasure of meeting and talking to our host Patti who had been staying at the lake. We all enjoyed our five day stay and look forward to coming back.

We could not ask for a better stay

My wife, our five year old son and I stayed at Patti's place for four days in October and it was just spectacular. The home was lovely, the location quiet as anything. The delightful town of Bolton Landing is a 5-10 minute drive away and there is tons to do there. The best part of the house and location is that you'd never guess there was a town so close. We had a great time both at the home and in town and hope to return next year!

We enjoyed our stay here and it was great to be able to bring our dog and dock our boat here.

We loved the cabin and rambling walk through the woods to the lake/dock. We rented a boat and it was perfect to be able to dock at the house. NW Bay is beautiful and our best Lake George stay so far. We loved the cabin and memories made.

Perfect location to unplug and relax. Loved being able to bring our dog along!

Beautiful chalet. Owners were extremely accommodating. Have stayed in a bunch of houses and this one was clean and owners very nice. Would love to stay again sometime. Wish we had more people like this who are pet friendly

Just finished 4-night rental and overall had a nice time. The house was really cute and had a great view of the lake and a wonderful balcony with Adirondack chairs. It was nice that the house had a dock where we were able to keep our boat and swim off the dock. There was a canoe and kayak you could use as well as nice Adirondack chairs lakeside. Though we knew in advance, we could have used a washer and dryer; when spending a lot of time on the lake, a dryer for towels comes in very handy. We cooked breakfast there and some pans and kitchen utensils need to be replaced – minor things that would be an easy update. The outside grill on the deck was great. As far as sleeping arrangements, the twin over full bed bunk combo worked well for two of our party of 4, while the other 2 slept in the only other bed which was a queen upstairs. But with any more than 5 people, someone would not be sleeping in an actual bed. Not an issue for us this time, but worth noting. Regarding the walk down to the lake, it is a pleasant nature walk with some rock steps down to the lower parking area, and then a rock-based staircase to the water. We had no issues, however, it might be difficult for unstable walkers. Overall we had a great time. View was amazing. Loved having the boat so accessible.

Adam and Patti are fantastic hosts. The chalet was charming, roomy, clean and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and the boat dock. It was a fun filled week of playing in the water, roasting marshmallows and eating at a variety of great restaurants in town. This was one of the best vacations our family ever had.

Location of the house is terrific, just 20 mins north of Lake George Village and 5 minutes from the quaint town of Bolton Landing. House is equipped with everything you need. It was also one of the few places in the area that we could find that is pet-friendly so it was great to be able to bring our dog with us. The house doesn’t have laundry machines but Patti offered laundry service during the week if we needed it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed. My only disappointment was the walk to the water. It's not a long walk however, I had 2 knee surgeries so the walk was a little treacherous. Also if you have young children you can't see them from the house. An adult would have to be with them at the lake. Other than that the home, the dock, the water and the views were great. Patricia was also quick to answer any questions I had. Overall fantastic home.

Outstanding experience with top notch hosts. The stay was everything we expected and more. Will not hesitate to book again.

The two of us had a highly enjoyable time at this place. We had some family from the area join us for a fun time on the dock and the views from the deck were quite easy on the eyes. Great place visit!

Our stay was perfect! We were greeted by the owner when we got there. The Chalet was cozy and the view was magnificent! Quick hike to the lake and peaceful surroundings only 7 minutes from town.

We had a wonderful winter getaway to this beautiful lakeside retreat. The house was perfect for me and my husband and our adult son. The boys skied at Gore, we attended winter carnival and enjoyed walking on the frozen lake. The house was perfect. Great location, beautifully maintained home with all of the amenities.

The views from the dining room and deck are breathtaking. There are two bedrooms, one downstairs with bunks, and one upstairs. We enjoyed the fireplace during our stay, and the wood was provided for us. The host was lovely to work with and answered any questions we had quickly. We really enjoyed the property and would come back again.
