Down the hall on the second floor are two more bedrooms. One is large with a queen size bed and record played. The fifth bedroom has a queen size bed with a full view of the pond and private entrance onto the upper deck. There is a bathroom in this area, too. Also, on this second floor is a balcony room that overlooks the large floor-to-ceiling hand laid stone fireplace. This area has a large comfortable couch and is the perfect spot to escape to read a book. A unique spiraling staircase leads to the open kitchen on the first floor. The dining room off the kitchen is a one room log cabin with a handmade oak table and woven hickory bottom chairs that seat 12 comfortably.
