We visited family in a neighboring community and this cottage was perfect to accommodate our family. The house was as described, with a charming interior and decor, and stocked with all the amenities we needed. Hope to be back again for a longer stay and more time to explore the local shops!

This is the third year my son and I have stayed at the cottage. It's cozy, quiet and comfortable. We enjoy the history of the building and it's connection to the pioneer days.

No pictures could do this cottage justice. It's charming, spacious, and cozy. Kitchen was very well stocked if you'd like to cook during your stay. The town was a perfect destination town with great spots to eat, shop, and walk. Couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Charming 170-year old Cornish cottage with modern convenance's. Responsive host. As the listing states, must use a narrow set of stairs to get to the bedrooms and kitchen, but not a problem for us, 65 and 63 years old.

We stayed for three nights. It was a very peaceful home. The historic character of the home really made us wonder how life would have been in 1850. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an escape.

This is a wonderful old property. Historic Mineral Point construction. There’s a nice box in the property explaining its history. Everything in the center of town is walkable, including Pendarvis and for us the wordlanders gathering. I hope I’m able to return.

The cottage is beautiful & a perfect place to stay in Mineral Point. Unfortunately, we spent so much time outside the cottage we didn't get to enjoy all it had to offer. I would have liked to have a relaxing cup of coffee outside on the patio, but we didn't have the time. The cottage would be the perfect place to visit Wisconsin in the fall & watch the leaves change color. We'll definitely be back!

We were pleased with our ck in and stay. The cabin was clean and well appointed. Our group was all over 70 and one felt a little apprehensive about the rustic stairway with a couple stair heights that were not the same as the others. The beds, bath and kitchen were all on the second floor so coming and going for us was limited.

Cottage on Clowney was a lovely getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage was located on a quiet street in Mineral Point, WI. It's a historic house with much of the original charm. The owners made us feel very welcome and the house was well appointed with anything that we needed. We had a lovely weekend!

My partner and I stayed here for our second time as we just ADORE this property. The house is clean with comfy beds and darling decor. You get to learn about the history of the home. There are board games to play and coffee available. We had steak dinner at High Ridge as recommended and it was sooo good. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We've stayed many places and this is on our favorites list!

Clean, cute historic cottage. Two blocks from downtown Mineral point shopping and bars/restaurants. Close to ATV trails, Pendarvis historic site and historic mine park. 30min from House on the Rock, Taliesin, or Gov. Dodge state park. Motorcycling in the area was great. Parking in driveway for truck and trailer. Lots to do in the area. We would definitely come back.

This cottage is just the kind of charming, historic and atmospheric place I love to visit. It also provided all the mod cons and charming decor that one could wish. The town of Mineral Point is interesting as well; one could almost believe you were in Cornwall.

This restored 1850's cottage is comfy, clean, a bit eclectic and totally nice throughout. Well maintained and stocked with essentials. Interesting layout with kitchen, bedrooms and bath upstairs but no problem if you are ok with stairs. Quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from Main Street and all the art shops, galleries and places to eat. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the patio area this stay. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

The owners have done a wonderful, high quality renovation of this ancient house. It is quirky, with the living room and a sitting area at the front entry level, while the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen are upstairs and walk out to the back patio. It's on a quiet street that is an easy walk to downtown. My daughter and I really enjoyed it.
