The En Suite amenities include a King Size Pillowtop Bed, 45" Flat Panel Streaming TV, a private bathroom and private path to the beach and ocean. The beachfront venue take your senses on an unforgettable journey where the possibilities are endless and the experience is priceless and memorable. This Home is fully furnished including towels, linens, dishes, pots & pans, beach chairs, umbrellas & toys for the kids. It has been impeccably maintained and pride of ownership shows. The Property is located on a Private street designated for Guests & or Owners only. There is ample parking in the garage & driveway. Publix, The House of Doughnuts (Coffee & Pastry cafe), Stavros & Lennys Pizza Houses & Modern Grocery & Liqour Store are all with in a short walk from our house. The Home is conveniently located with easy access to I-95 and I-4 as well as four international airports including Daytona Beach (20 Minutes), Sanford (1 hour), Orlando (1 hour) and Jacksonville (1 1/2 hours). The Daytona Beach area is home to numerous exciting and educational attractions including Daytona International Speedway, Daytona 1, Tanger Outlets, Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, Marine Science Center, Deep Sea Fishing and an array of water sports including surfing, kayaking, kite boarding and scuba diving. It is less than a 2 hour drive to all Orlando area attractions including Kennedy Space Center, Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. America's oldest city - St Augustine - is just 1 hour away. If you are fortunate enough to rent this Home, I know you'll love it as much as we do and you'll consider it your home away from home, just as we do. The home is a part of a small private neighborhood - this one being right on the beach. It is very clean and the common areas are all recently remodeled, with a touch of vintage design still apparent. The owners Gordon and Cathy are meticulous about their property, and it shows in how well the property is maintained.
The house perfectly met our needs, with a beautiful front bedroom facing the sea, a second bedroom that perfectly accommodated our young toddler, and another back bedroom with a private bath. The common areas, living, dining, and kitchen spaces were great. The house is well-stocked with everything you would need as a visitor - beach towels, chairs, and toys, kitchen supplies, and all kinds of thoughtful details and extras. Great place and great hosts.

The house was the perfect size for our group of six (4 adults, 2 elementary aged kids). The kitchen was well stocked, and there were beach chairs and toys for us to borrow as well. Just a short walk across the yard to the gate to access the beach. Definitely hope to return!

This was a wonderful place. Can’t beat being this close to the ocean. The property and home are very well maintained and has everything we needed inside and out.
Communication with the host was great and they gave us many suggestions for dining, stores and things to do in the area. The locals in the area are very friendly and welcoming.
Thanks to hosts Gordan and Cathy for all you gave us to make this such a great trip.

A true Florida home experience. GREAT location and less then 40 steps to the beach. We have never stayed so close. The house for us was perfect. They have everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Gordon was in constant communication with us from the time of making the reservation until check out. The small neighborhood was quite and everyone was super friendly. We will stay again.

This is our 4th time at Home by the Sea. The name is exactly how we feel about this place, at Home. We have already booked our stay for next year.
The house is steps from the beach. We visit in April and the beach has never been crowded. This week we watched kite surfers, surfers, paddle boarders, dolphins, pelicans and I swear I thought I saw a whale tail. We spent hours soaking up sunshine, warmth and recharging. So great to be right at the the beach and not have to to lug all the things.
Gordon and Cathy are excellent hosts and are great at communication. They are a pleasure to work with.
We are counting down the days till we will be Home by the Sea again.

Beautifully renovated property and fully stocked with towels, kitchen ware, beach chairs, etc. The additional outdoor shower was great! We practically had the whole beach to ourselves. Clean sand and water... No weeds! Minutes from dining and shopping. We never had to wait to be seated at a restaurant, which is rare for spring break! Gordon made checking in and out easy and was quick to respond if I had a question. And the VIEW. Wow! It was a wonderful week and we hated to leave.

This was our second year in Gordon & Cathy’s Home by the Sea and we loved it even more this year than last. The location and view are unbeatable! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, baking, and hanging out on the island/ counter for games at night. The recliners are a fan fave to watch TV at night as well. The property is CLEAN and well cared for. Plenty of beach accessories as well! We will return again to Home by the Sea!

This home is perfect. Kind of like a small neighborhood. You are not surrounded by a bunch of huge, tall condos. Private. This house has everything you need. Including children's toys. You can't ask for more.

Lovely home. Perfect for our family of 4 and room of course to invite 2 more guest. We stayed 2 weeks and its the perfect getaway for our busy lifestyle back home. The beach is private and the neighbors who live there are super nice.

Our new favorite destination!
Can't say enough about what a great property this is! Direct oceanfront with private beach access from the yard. Literally steps to the sand. There were lots of little extras (beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc.). Walking distance to several great restaurants, shops and grocery store. Gordon is a fabulous host who made us feel very welcome and gave lots of suggestions for local activities. We'll definitely be back. Very highly recommend!

We were texted or called 3 times in the six days we were there for having a car sitting in the common drive “blocking the view” and we left a chair on the beach that broke and we’re going to go back and get it, but we were called before we could move it. Felt we were being watched and or listened to all the time.
