Close to everything. This was a mini vacation for me and my husband. Wish we could of stayed longer. Very clean place and all the amenities you needed.

Hard to find a modern one bedroom for a couple as nice as this rental. Was PERFECT and had everything we needed! Even had Comcast and remote like ours at home. Already rented again for next year. Can’t wait!

Great stay. Everything fit pictures and description. Quiet neighborhood was a plus. Enjoyed walks at Pitts Bridge, Shem Creek, and Patriots Point. Convenient to Charleston and Sullivan’s island, setting us up for great dinning options. And, Old Post House just down the road was delicious for brunch.

My wife and I decided to drive up to Charleston for a kid-free weekend before the arrival of our next kid in April. The Pump house was perfect in every way. Great location, comfortable, clean, and the hosts are super communicative and truly cared about our experience. Next time we visit, we will definitely stay here.

This rental has such a warm welcoming feel! Loved the decor and cleanliness. Stocked well and is centrally located to just about everything the Charleston area has to offer. Great escape for couples. Would definitely recommend!

The rental was great and accurately described in the listing, but what really stood out to us was the attention to the potential needs of their guests. Brandon and Jess provided many extras like coffee, beach bag with towels, cooler bag, and even beach chairs for guest use. This was a really nice touch and definitely put the cherry on top of an already great rental.

The Pump House is in a nice, quiet, walkable neighborhood in Mt Pleasant with easy access to downtown and Sullivan Island. We enjoyed our visit and Jess and Brandon keep the property in great condition. They also did a great job communicating throughout our stay.

The reviews of this place are spot on. A great little place to adventure in Charleston. The rental was clean, parking was easy, and the hosts were simple to contact. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook a dinner. The only issue with check in was that I forgot to setup the august app ahead of time. The location is quiet and safe, very close to wonderful restaurants.

Beautiful and spacious apartment with updated kitchen and bathroom. It’s conveniently located to the bars and restaurants on Shem Creek and quick drive to the beach on Sullivan’s Island. Brandon and Jess were super response and check-in was a breeze. Would highly recommend if your looking for a place to stay in Mount Pleasant.

My wife and I came down for a quick weekend trip and really enjoyed the apartment in old Mr Pleasent. Very clean, comfy bed, and easy to get to and from downtown Charleston. Owner was very communicative via text and messenger, which was great. Highly recommend!

The pump house was an excellent place to stay, with easy access to a 15 minute drive to the beach as well as to Charleston. Nice quiet neighborhood. Very clean studio apartment and the unit was as described on the VRBO site.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Pump House! The neighborhood and location to all the attractions was absolutely perfect! Highly recommended if you are looking for a great place close to everything in a quiet neighborhood! Also loved the recommendation to the coffee shop that the owners gave in the guide to Brown Fox Coffee... it was absolutely amazing!

The apartment was so clean and well equippied. In a excellent neighborhood. So close to the beach and attractions but yet sit in a private area. Owner was available for any need ! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY !

This was the best rental we have ever experienced! We needed a respite from the world, and the Wayne Street Pump House was just what the doctor ordered. Not only was it perfectly suited for us staying in and escaping from reality (gorgeous and comfortable furnishings and decor), it was also wonderfully situated for walking the Old Village, as well as driving to local sights. We'd come back in a heartbeat. The owners were always available for questions and/or problems (though we never met them face to face, they live in the main house on the property), and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. The Keurig coffeemaker was well-stocked, the bed was more comfortable than ours at home, and the southern light in the living area was so beautiful that it felt like a natural antidepressant. Our stay was during an unseasonably cold period, and we didn't even mind. Of note: There were great lights for us as we walked up and down the drive from the street. Older people (like us)! Be comfortable using a phone app to unlock the door (the owner was readily available) The homes in the area are beautiful and also closely situated. Perhaps it's a Low Country tradition not to use first floor blinds in one's house, and it does add to the open feel of the neighborhood. The light was beautiful spilling out into the winter night; that said, we had a bird's eye view from our second floor apartment into a couple of homes. We averted our eyes, but sometimes felt a bit like intruders. Blinds in the living area of the apartment might help with that, especially during shorter days.

This is a serene place to chill for a couple's weekend get away. We loved the well appointed unit and it was in a perfect location to the city and the beach. Would highly recommend a stay at Old Village!
