This property was in a great location easily walkable to lots of food and bars. It was very clean and the description matched what I expected. I gave the rating a 4 only because the bathroom water pressure was very poor and the hot water heater needed turned up. The shower didn’t get very hot at all. Otherwise it’s a very quiet nice condo to stay in.

The security locks on every door, I felt safe.The room seems bigger on the pictures. But the room was clean. And I enjoy my stay!

We visited San Antonio for a family reunion at another location and wanted a nice, quiet space just for me and my husband for before and after the festivities. This studio was the perfect amount of space for the two of us, during our 4 night stay. Beautiful, quiet, safe neighborhood with close walking vicinity to all of the popular tourist attractions, if not a short 5-10 minute drive at most. Clean interior with thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner, bugspray, etc. It was in the mid to high 90's during our stay and the A/C worked perfectly.

Was moved to another location because of double booking. The new place was nice but it was right next to a giant air conditioning unit as loud as a jet engine. I had to sleep in the living room with ear plug’s.

It was a perfect location to walk to the riverwalk. Very quiet and suited the two of us perfectly! Enjoyed coffee in the shared patio area!

This condo is super cute, clean and safe. I felt very safe with the two locked entrances. Great communication with host and Very close to the River walk. Will definitely stay again !

Rental Gem in Southtown
Wow, this studio is awesome! Very well appointed and nicely decorated. It is a studio but it has been layed out so well that it seems much bigger. Very well located, close to Riverwalk entrance and 1 block from restaurants and bars in King William's district. This place is great for couples. Very small studio but extremely cozy. Its a short walk to the Riverwalk. Definitely will recommend this place.

Fantastic Apartment, Location, and Hosts!
I just completed a 3-night stay at the Arsenal with my young adult daughters. The apartment is better than it seems in the pictures because it's so clean and the location so wonderful. I had no problem finding the apartment and no problem following the check-in instructions (there are a couple of doors with key pads to enter before the apartment.) The host was super responsive to any question and provided alot of thoughtful extras like the "forgetful toothbrush", coffee, and some water bottles chilling in the fridge. There were enough sheets/towels available for a whole other family. If you are trying to gauge the size, the main part of the apartment is about the size of a hotel room, with the addition of the kitchen and bathroom. (The couch is not a traditional fold out couch but a more modern and leather flip type bed, which meant there is not a thin mattress with bars poking through. The girls said the bed was super comfy and I was completely fine sleeping on the couch.) The only negative, which had nothing to do with the host, is that the water pressure is quite soft and very slow to warm initially. We laughed and figured it out. The neighborhood is the best! I was comfortable walking with my girls as there were lots of walkers, bikers (bicycles), and runners. Maybe I missed it in the description, but the apartment building is old, very charming, and fits with the neighborhood. There is a courtyard in the center of the 3 buildings that was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee and book. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location
Joe was very easy to contact which I appreciated when the front gate code didn't work! He was very nice. We loved the apartment location, and walked everywhere. We ate at delicious restaurants within walking distance for brunch every day: CommonWealth CoffeeHouse & Bakery, The Menger Hotel (right next to the Alamo and Riverwalk), and The Guenther House. Best of all was the Bar Loretta, located literally around the corner, where we ate every single night! The first night we were just looking online for somewhere close to go and discovered that they are busy every night of the week, so although the host graciously seated us, we made reservations for the following nights and highly recommend doing this. One of the nights the coaching staff of the San Antonio Spurs came in after a game, so the locals love this place too!
The building is on the edge of one of the oldest neighborhoods in SA, King William Historic District and we thoroughly enjoyed taking an early evening stroll through this area. It is several blocks of large homes built in the 1800's and each one is a different architectural style. We discovered a museum only 2 blocks away in one of these homes called Villa Finale and recommend it to history buffs. Also, the apartment building is only 3 blocks from the Riverwalk, so some days we walked downtown via that quiet pathway and other days we walked on the main streets.
As far as the apartment, I have a couple of recommendations for the owners: please add some hangers in the closet as we had brought shirts that should've been hung up, please add a blanket or light quilt as we were cold every night even with the heater on, and make sure the very informative manual you created is placed where renters can see it immediately such as the coffee table. It was discovered under some magazines on the table next to the bed, near the end of our stay!
The water pressure was very low and it took some time to get hot water, but when we did it was good & hot! (This may have been resolved after we left because we got a notice that the water in the building would be turned off for some work.) Lastly, keep in mind that this is an apartment in an older building. We heard what seems to be a young child above but it wasn't until mid-morning so was not an issue. The neighborhood was completely quiet at night. We had a wonderful time in SA and the affordability of this apartment added to our enjoyment.

Birthday Getaway
We really enjoyed our vrbo apartment in the King William area of San Antonio. The online photos give a great view of how nice the interior is. The apartment is conveniently located to many venues and makes visiting the area very easy. On street parking was available. The apartment is very well laid out and decorated very well. The owners thought of many things to make the stay enjoyable. When we initially had problems getting the door unlocked, the owners were very helpful The only concerns we had were that it took awhile for the water to get warm after turning on the faucet. We would have liked to have had two wash clothes. The only one provided was the dark make up cloth. The shelves and rods in the closet need to be sanded and repainted. They are peeling and flaky.

Location was easy walking distance to the Alamo and downtown. We especially enjoyed the neighborhood this property was located in. Local bars and restaurants were fantastic and neighbors were friendly

A Perfect Place to Stay
Such a quaint apartment in a beautiful historic district. The bed was comfomfortable-apartment very clean. Several restaurants just down the street. We walked to most everything. The River Walk was less than a mile. Too many great restaurants so we did not cook but a grocery store not far away. If you are headed to San Antonio for a visit-this is a lovely spot to stay. Also, checked out the historic John T Floore's Country Store in Helote,TX (30 min drive) for a good ol' fashioned country music concert! We will defiantly do this trip again and will be sure to book the Arsenal!
