Private, wooded location on dirt road, with shared access to community pond. Located off of the Moscow cutover (Barrows Road), convenient to Trapp Family Lodge and Mountain Road (Piecasso, Idyletime and Alchemist), and approximately 10-15 minutes to Stowe Mountain Resort. Spacious, open floor plan kitchen, dining room and family room with vaulted ceilings and beams. Two bedrooms on main level (1 queen bed, one king), and skylighted loft with two twin beds (loft accessed through queen bedroom). 3/4 bath with shower on main level. Private, covered deck at rear of carriage house. Private garage bay for storage of car, bikes, kayaks, etc. Wifi included (flat screen TVs in family room and master bedroom - bring your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu account). Owners on premises. Children welcome. No parties. No smoking. No pets.

Stay for a week while in town for a wedding. Great location for accessing all corners of Stowe. Garage apartment had everything we needed. Hosts were great and very easy to communicate with - provided cell number in case we needed anything. Quickly brought over an iron that we needed to prep for wedding. Weather was unexpectedly hot and humid. Apartment had lots of fans, but no AC. We cranked open all the windows which helped - evenings did cool down. We would stay here again. Price break on one week stay was terrific and allowed us a few extra days to enjoy the area.

This was a great stay for me and my 2 kids. It is cute and roomy. Has everything you need plus two cute dogs that can come to visit if you are ok with dogs. The owner lives next door and communicates very well and asks if you are ok with the dogs. My kids and I love dogs and their dogs were so well behaved and came to visit a couple times and were so friendly with no jumping just saying hi! Beds were very comfortable. directions and location was perfect!

Great secluded location - we had six adults and the carriage house worked out well. Very clean - beds were all comfortable - nice linens. We didn’t do cooking only coffee in morning but it looked like everything you needed would be there. Would definitely recommend.

The property was perfect for our stay and in a very beautiful setting close to everything Stowe has to offer. The property owners were close by and very accessible. We definitely would stay here again.

My wife, daughter, and in laws stayed here and what an incredible time we had. Rob was very helpful and communicative. The check-in/check-out process was very smooth and easy. It was our first time in Vermont and he gave us many recommendations on places to eat/drink, trails to hike, and other activites. All of which were very good and we would stay with Rob again without hesitation.

Great property in Stowe and centrally located in the fantastic VT countryside. Just 20-25 minutes to the top of Mt. Mansfield via the Toll Road. Absolutely beautiful. Very spacious accommodations with open floor plan. Super clean and well equipped. A great place to relax at the end of the day after exploring the area. A “thumbs up” recommendation for a place to stay in the iconic Stowe area.

I came with my family including two young children and we had the most wonderful time. The house is spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The location feels secluded but is really close to everything in Stowe and my kids had a great time playing at the nearby pond and were excited to see a beaver. The hosts were fantastic. They were very responsive and went above and beyond to help us. I can’t stress enough how wonderful a place this house is. We can’t wait to come back soon!

The place is quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained. We went to Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory and the Trapp Family Lodge, which is located near the house. Perfect size for a family of 6 (3 adults, 2 kids, and 1 baby). The owner, Rob, is kind, responsible, reliable, and thoughtful. We were so happy to talk with him and meet his cute dog! We highly recommend it!! Thank you for hosting, Rob!

This was a great place to stay. Quiet location to relax after a busy day with plenty of comfortable seating. Everything was as described, well cleaned and kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

We had an incredible stay in this chalet. The location near the city center was perfect, allowing us to fully enjoy all the attractions. The chalet was very well-equipped, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The decoration was charming, and we immediately felt at home. Overall, our stay was magical, and we highly recommend this rental through VRBO. We can't wait to return on our next visit.

Our family of 4 just finished a week away at this lovely carriage home in Stowe for a week of spring skiing. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook your meals, sheets/towels provided, washer/dryer available and lots of storage room for ski equipment. The beds were also incredibly comfortable! The owners, Rob and Sherry, were extremely welcoming and available for any questions (although we had everything we needed from the start). The location is great. It's an easy 15 minute drive to the base of Stowe Mountain Resort and less than 10 minute drive to the Main St. in Stowe. Definitely recommend staying here and would stay again!

We lost a dear friend last year, who had us to her Trapp week for over 20 years. We are getting together in honor of her annually. This was a perfect spot, well maintained. They've thought of everything. It was l Iike home. The hosts were helpful and present to our requests. Everything was as stated and the host was easy to communicate with. We could have used some wash clothes but otherwise, it had everything we needed. Quiet place tucked away. The dirt road going to the house needs some pot holes fixed, but that isn't the host's responsibility.

The carriage house is located in a quiet area outside of Stowe, but still close enough to be convenient. The owners were very good about communicating with us. We could not have asked for a better experience!

We have a great two-week stay here, just outside Stowe. The "cottage" (which actually undersells this beautiful home) was indeed roomy, quiet, and with all the amenities anyone could ask for. Was a perfect vacation spot for privacy and quiet yet close enough to run any direction u want to travel, the owners are outstanding, understanding, and outgoing for all your needs, this is a must stop if u want to be near Stowe, only wish it had any air-conditioning as its on a second story. Child friendly, great all the way around!!

This home is in a great location, was well equipped and had plenty of room for our family of 5. The back deck was a lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee and just enjoy the sweet Vermont summer air. Thanks to our host who was wonderful!

We were here for a wedding at peak foliage. While Stowe is VERY crowded this time of year, the house was a great place to stay; centrally located and quite comfortable. My one suggestion would be to have some coffee/creamer on hand. Would have been a nice touch and allow us to avoid a run out to the store when we arrived.

Owner was very responsive and property was unique and comfortable. Ran into trouble finding the place because we arrived after dark and GPS is unreliable in remote, mountainous areas. Fortunately the owner was home and able to come down to the road with a flashlight and talk us in.
