Comfortable Victorian Victoria!

This was a delightful stay in a comfortable old house. Very quiet, and easy access to downtown and Government House. Well-appointed room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and seating areas. The lounge was large and comfortable as well. Henry served up two spectacular breakfasts - notably different each day. You're away from the noise and hustle of the downtown area, and a wonderful neighbourhood to explore on foot, gawking at the gorgeous homes.

While the parking is tight, it doesn't pose a problem whatsoever. Don't expect to park a large vehicle, but there is room on the street too.

Relaxing

We enjoyed the breakfast and the ladies who prepared it. After explaining that my wife did not always eat breakfast but she would probably like some fruit, and every morning after there was a plate waiting’s for me to take down to her. I was lmpressed.

Relaxing,comfortable and pleasant experience

Everything was lovely, the breakfast was beautiful. The room was very relaxing and the bed was heavenly. I can’t comment on the staff as we had very little interaction. The woman who served us breakfast was very pleasant and otherwise we did not really have the opportunity to speak with the owner.

Beautiful property with amazing stay

Beautiful heritage house, made us very comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Our garden suite had a small kitchenette with all facilities.

A 'one night stay' Not enough!

LOVED the Location, Character, Suite amenities, Breakfast, and the Staff's willingness to accommodate our request for an early check-in. Questions were answered within minutes. Thank you!

Was a tad cool when we first arrived but plugged in the heater for additional heat..... Quickly warmed up!

Unser Aufenthalt in Victoria

Der Aufenthalt im Abbeymoore Manor hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Anwesen und die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch und gemütlich gestaltet, sauber, und man durfte sich unter Berücksichtigung der anderen Gäste frei in den Gemeinschaftsräumen aufhalten. In der Küche gab es ganztägig Zugang zu Kaffee und Tee, zudem gab es bei unserer Anreise frisch gebackenen Kuchen, an dem sich jeder Gast bedienen konnte. Die Lage des Abbeymoore Manor war ebenso top, jedoch könnte man die Einfahrt zu Beginn leicht übersehen. Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück gibt es eigentlich auch ausreichend. Unser Highlight war jedoch allem voran das köstlich Frühstück, das liebevoll zubereitet wurde. Preislich geht die Unterkunft für die Lage, das schöne Ambiente und das inbegriffene Frühstück voll in Ordnung. Gerne empfehlen wir das Abbeymoore Manor daher weiter.

An attractive b&b with it's own style vety different from a high rise hotel.

An interesting old house and helpful staff. A comfortable bedroom and a good lounge and patio for relaxation.

It is quite a long way out of the centre of Victoria so a car is really useful.

Lovely old house, great staff

Great location by Government House, not far from an outdoor mall with supermarket, pharmacy and bottle shop. Staff were wonderful and always an interesting breakfast. Enjoyed our evenings on the front porch.

It's an old house and no AC. Usually not required but were there during an unusually warm week and the bedroom (Primrose) never cooled down. No screens on the windows, so open bedroom windows meant bug bites.

It was indeed a welcome home feel

I absolutely love this location! I'm a garden groupie and being across from the Governor's building is a big win. The volunteers there do an amazing job. Regarding Abbeymoore, I absolutely love the Breakfast part of Bed and Breakfast. It was everything that I would image. The food was AMAZING. The ability of the staff to adjust the menu based on needs/likes was awesome. Jeff was an excellent host and appreciate his attention to detail.

I'm not sure I have any additional suggestions other than the breakfasts were so good, why not offer a twice/wk dinner experience.

Superb

The breakfasts were fantastic. We looked forward to them every morning. The meals were very fresh and excellent presentation. We stayed for three days and each breakfast was different and just as delicious.

the breakfasts were great and the rooms were better than i had expected. we really enjoyed the inn keeper everytime we saw him out feeding the deer or serving breakfast

This place is so lovely.

The breakfasts were so delicious. The manor was authentic and old just as I wished for. The manor is located across the street from Government House. The gardens at government house are beautiful. Our vacation was perfect.

Tiny bathroom with very small sink. Bathtub in actual bedroom. No TV. Cold in room, had to set up heather. No tissues, co coffee or tea in room.
