This condo has beautiful mountain views and is a short drive to Sugar Mountain ski area. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. The only disappointing issue was a foul odor coming from a damp and stained area of carpet right beside the king size bed. The property manager told us the previous guest had had an accident and they weren't able to get professional carpet cleaners in before our stay, but they had done the best they could. They did send out a representative later that day to spray some odor blocker, which helped a little with the smell. He also put a fan on the area to help dry out the damp area. However, it was not pleasant to get into bed with a damp and stained area of carpet right beside the bed. Hopefully the professional cleaners will eventually remove stain and the lingering odor will fade.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The property itself was great even better than the pictures online. The loft had 2 twin beds and a full bath which was great for the teenagers. The master has a great bathroom and beautiful views. And the queen size bedroom has its own bathroom as well. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Great location and Beautiful views from the large deck. It was a 10 minute drive to get to the ski resort.

The ski access needs to be clarified- you can walk 10 mins up a short but steep road and then go through a short (2min) trail to Sugar Slalom run. To get back that way you would have to ski down Tom Terrific and cut hard to the right, crossing Sugar Slalom to get back to the trail through the woods. the obvious problem is if Tom Terrific is closed or you are not an experienced skier, you cannot get back to the trail in the woods. your other option is to drive to the top of the Reserve, in front of building 36 and drop off people/gear there. you can hike in behind the ski patrol hut at the top of Tom Terrific and walk over to the Northridge run. you can go out this way too but would need someone to meet you with a car in front of building 36 as that is too far to walk back to this condo. We did it both ways but these options might not work for other groups depending on ski ability. hope that helps.

Although the skiing conditions were not ideal (rainy, foggy, and the slopes were packed/very limited tickets due to Covid) the condo was the perfect place for our stay! If you already have ski equipment and lift tickets, the condo is located a short walk to the top of Sugar mountain ski lifts. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishware, pots, and pans. The floor plan worked great for all of us staying there with 2 bedrooms downstairs (each with its own private bath) and an upstairs loft with an additional bed and pull out trundle and an additional full bathroom. The beds were all very comfortable with soft sheets and warm blankets. The views from the outside deck were beautiful. We would recommend staying in this unit and we would return in the future. Property was very nice and clean with beautiful view off back deck. Short drive to Sugar Mtn ski area and not too far from App State either. We had a great time!

We had six adults and we had to schedule baths/showers one per hour. The maintenance man came once and was sent away because the water has heated back up. We later found that the water went cold by the time the tub had 5” of water.The pictures show s jacuzzi that does not work. Maintenance told us that the jacuzzi was not an option in any units. VRBO did not disclose this.Renters need to be aware that when it snows, the unit can’t be accessed without 4 wheel drive or chains.

Great place with everything you need for a week long stay in a wonderful location. Only complaint would be dust on the furniture.

Everything about the property was great. Beautiful view, well equipped, nice furniture, comfy beds and close to skiing. Only thing is that there weren't any furniture on the deck. I assumed it was because it was winter but there were times that we wanted to spend a little while outside. Check in was not very smooth. The email I got had the address of the property instead of the rental company where we had to pick up a package. An email closer to the time with check in instructions would've been very helpful. When I called they were about to close for the day and the lady was prepared to wait for us to sort out everything, which was nice of her. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this place!

Has a great back porch but no furniture on it?

The condo is not close to slopes. So you basically have to drive everyday to the bottom of slopes for skiing. If you are looking at ski in/out this is not your place.
