About this house rental
Welcome to your one-of-a-kind, private lakefront retreat! This new construction lake lodge was built in 2016 and will show you what north Idaho has to offer! Located on the sunny side of Bottle Bay, enjoy a private dock with views of Schweitzer mountain. Take in amazing Lake Pend Oreille with floor-to-ceiling windows. Bask in the sun on the large deck or from the private dock. The property is conveniently located across from Bottle Bay Marina, which offers dining, boat/kayak rentals, gas, and a boat launch. The beautiful, lively town of Sandpoint is close by (25 minutes by car or 15 by boat). Also, check out the many restaurants on Lake Pend Oreille's shores! This house has unique features throughout. The custom kitchen table, bathroom countertops, and fireplace mantle were hand-crafted out of trees from the property that were removed for the build. Knotty alder and pine finishes will make you feel right at home in north Idaho! Enjoy a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with well-stocked wood storage, an open timber staircase leading to a large loft, and a room of built-in bunk beds that will wow you! The house offers plenty of space for a large group or will cozily accommodate a smaller group as well. The house sleeps 10 in beds, with an optional air bed if needed. The maximum occupancy is 10 people. Bedrooms include: -Master suite: King bed, his and hers closets, and attached master bath -Spare bedroom: King bed and double closets -Large bunk room: Custom built-in bunk beds--two twin extra-long beds over two full extra-long beds, able to sleep children or adults -Large loft: Perfect for additional sleeping bags or air mattresses (For your convenience, we provide one queen-sized air mattress and bedding. This is not included in the above stated "sleeps 10.") House highlights: -Large loft with games, bean bags, and surround sound movie set up -Unique timber details throughout -Wood-burning fireplace -Kayak(s) and paddle board -Ample car parking -Boat parking on private dock Please note: For security purposes, our property is equipped with surveillance on the exterior of the house and outdoor spaces. My family and I had a great time staying at this cabin. The cabin is amazing inside and out. It was stocked with everyting we needed for our stay. Beautiful views of the lake. We had fun fishing off the dock. We also rented a boat from the marina across the bay and had a good time exploring the lake. Definitely recommend!

Our family and friends loved our stay at Copper Cabin! The house was clean, well-stocked, nicely appointed, and beautifully located. The location on Bottle Bay is on the sunny side. Lots of afternoon light was perfect for fabulous evenings on the water. The host was easy to communicate with and went above-and-beyond what was necessary to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic lakeside holiday!

We came to the cabin for a long weekend over New Years, and had the best time. The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and the kitchen is better stocked than most rentals I’ve been in. The owner was communicative, and thoughtful. Since we had folks staying in the loft upstairs, they set out an air mattress for us. They also plowed the driveway so that we could fit all the cars. It was the perfect weekend!

We had high hopes and expectations and ALL of them were exceeded. Location, perfect weather and the home is an amazing family experience. Well stocked and equipped and we didn't need anything that wasn't supplied. Our host Jennifer responded almost immediately when we had questions. I would have given more stars if I could have 😀

We loved staying at Copper Cabin. Everything was new and clean, and it was well stocked. Loved being right on the lake with a dock for our boat. Bottle bay is a nice quiet, calm bay with the marina across the bay for gas. We would definitely stay again!

We take 1 vacation in the summer after long hours of work. We look forward to making the best of it and this cabin delivered. It is beautiful! The location is amazing. Thank you to the host for good communications. We hope to repeat next year.

Nice but a bit short of what we expected
The dock is nice and provides 4 chairs to enjoy the lake. The house wasn't well stocked with toiletries and the pots and pans are not of the quality that you would expect at this price point. The TV is located upstairs and does not have cable or satellite. The house was well located and has a nice patio, neighbors were all nice as well. Not sure it was worth the price but overall a nice home.

Stay was beautiful and house was great. The kids room was very much enjoyed by every child. Only thing to be aware of is a tiny road only wide enough for 1 vehicle (may get in a situation if opposite traveling vehicle comes along like did with us) and steep parking in winter if extra parking is snowed in. We enjoyed the stay and may try it again in warmer weather.

I can’t say enough great things about this rental- from its immaculately clean condition, to all the beds being so comfortable even the teens commented on it, gorgeous everything…
Bunk room was well loved, owner was super responsive to any questions, kitchen was fully stocked right down to an instant pot (didn’t need to bring mine after all!) and blendtec blender… really this place was truly wonderful and we’ve stayed at ALOT of VRBO rentals. We had 7 people- 5 kids and two parents and there was room enough for all. House is well laid out- kitchen table/ island is unique and super awesome for dinners and games, bunk space super comfy and the shuffleboard table was a hit as well. Thank you for providing such wonderful accommodations! We would recommend to anyone!

We skied all week and it is a bit further drive time than I thought to Schweitzer (27 miles, one hour drive) but that does not out weigh the solitude and beauty of the lake, surroundings and home itself. Beautiful, spotless cabin!
This cabin is outstanding! We stayed as a family of 3, but the cabin's great layout would work for both a small family as well as multiple families. We have visited this part of N. Idaho every New Years for the past few years and this is our best rental yet.
The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, has a well-equipped kitchen and baths, and a stunning view. The furniture and beds were all in great condition and very comfortable (vs. the often tired furnishings of other rentals), and the house was spotless. We spent the vast majority of our time at the cabin cooking and baking in the kitchen, playing with our daughter in front of the fire, exploring the bunk room, and the side yard has the perfect sledding hill for young kids! It had everything we needed for a week away in the snow.
The owner was also very responsive throughout booking and when I reached out with a few minor questions during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Cutest lake house
This place is the cutest lake house, plenty of room, plenty of things to do with the kayaks and paddle board. The dock is super nice and a nice spot to lay out and soak up the sun. Town isn’t too far away, and Sandpoint is the cutest town ever! We really enjoyed this gem of a house and the owners were very responsive, nice and helpful! 10 out of 10 overall experience! Deff book this house if you are in Sandpoint.

The home was beautiful and had an amazing view of the bay. The grass lawn near the dock is small if you have lots of kids (however it was perfect for setting up our ladder golf with seating around it), but the water level was low during our visit which opened up more areas to discover for the kids and provided great rock skipping opportunities. The neighborhood is extremely quiet with very little traffic. This was the perfect spot for a long weekend of relaxation. Jennifer, the homeowner, was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. I am saving this property to rent again in the future.

Perfect Weekend
We loved the location and cleanliness of the property. There were so many games and movies to choose from. We also enjoyed the waterfront and amenities there. We plan to return again soon!

We had such a wonderful stay. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! The view of the lake was amazing to wake up to every morning. The owner Jennifer is very quick to respond and on top of everything. My family really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be booking again next summer!

Beautiful house! Beautiful location! If traveling with small kids under 2, there are lots of stairs in this house and the only t.v. is all the way on the top floor. Other than that, this was an amazing rental!
