Loved the house and property that my family rented. Loved that each bedroom had an attached bath. Kitchen was very well equipped to make meals. And my little grandsons loved the pool and backyard. Was a quick walk to the beach. Owners of the house provided umbrella, beach chairs and a wagon to haul it all to the beach .

We’ve stayed at this property before and it is amazing! Great location; fantastic amenities (every kitchen gadget you might need, pool, arcade game, cornhole, grill, etc). I highly recommend and will probably book again in the future. Fantastic choice for families with grown kids.

My wife and I are neat freaks, and we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the home not to mention how beautiful it was. This never felt like a Beach vacation home that was being abused week by week. We intended to go to the beach often but we actually found staying in the house and going to the pool was even more enjoyable. We had every single thing we needed.

Eating area seats eight very comfortably (note: high-top configuration).
Minibar fridges & coffeemakers on the other two floors.
Great views of the beach and ocean from upper floors.
Games to play indoors and out, books to read, videos to watch.
The back yard is really nicely appointed (pool, plush grass, sitting area with fire table).
The pool is positioned in the late afternoon shadow of the house, perfect for really hot weather.
Dual zone A/C worked great.
The owners were very welcoming, very good about direct communication via txt.

The house had all we needed. Had a beach cart to haul everything to the beach, which was just a short walk away. When we got home it had plenty of spaces to hang out inside and outside. The backyard was the best one I have seen in outer banks. Well taken care of and the gazebo with fire pit was great to relax in at night.

I love that every room has a private bathroom. The decks are a great place to watch the sunrise/sunset and the telescope was an awesome addition! You can tell that the owners really thought out what items families traveling would need/want- and it makes a vacation SO much more enjoyable! This beautifully decorated house is fully equipped with everything that's needed including beach chairs, beach cart, and beach toys for the beach. There's a beautiful fenced in yard with pool, fire pit, and many other outdoor items! The owners were fantastic and answered any questions I had before our vacation started. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the decks!I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for that home away from home and wonderful vacation experience! our entire vacation was fantastic! the house was well stocked with anything you might need for the beach and linens were a plus. Backyard was great for relaxing and the house provided tons of games and stuff to do during our rainy days. Seeing dolphins from the breakfast table was a bonus! Nice short walk to the beach too! If I had to pick one complaint it is that some of the info on their hospitality app did not match the e-mail and info provided in the home binder.

I can't say enough nice things about this rental and the owners, Leeann and Marty. First, as many other reviews indicate, the house is completely stocked. In the kitchen, this includes big pots, all cooking utensils, serving dishes, cupcake pan, cookie sheets, can opener, dishes, etc. They have lots of games to play indoors and out. They also have a pristine umbrella stroller as well as a high chair. They have a very nice beach wagon, which is helpful because the walk to the beach is about a block.
The backyard is very inviting. While we were using the firepit, the propane tank ran out. I texted Leeann and she had a new one to us in under 20 minutes. We also enjoyed the outdoor games. We did not use the pool though, because it is quite cold and the weather wasn't hot enough to make that appealing to us.
Finally, the house is very clean. Leann and Marty clean the house and service the pool themselves, and it shows. They take very good care of it.
In my opinion, Kitty Hawk is not as picturesque as some other places in the OBX; however, this value of this well-stocked, clean home with very attentive owners more than makes up for that. Plus the beach is very nice and wasn't crowded during our stay, which was the first week in June.
Overall, we are very glad that we chose this house and wish we were still there!

The house has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation, the owners are quick to respond and stayed in touch during Tropical Storm Isaias. The first three days were cold and pouring rain, but in the last three, the weather was bright and sunny. The house was absolutely beautiful and had much more than I ever expected. The home was decorated with a beach theme and had everything you would ever need for your vacation. It was nice to have a private pool and a large fenced yard for the children to play. House was spotless and everything was top quality. Service with Rental company and any issues with the house were immediately resolved. I would DEFINITELY recommend this property and hope to return again next year. Ready to be able to see more of the outer banks when there is no rain.

Everybody a beautiful home for vacationing in Kill Devil Hills. The owners were great, the place was very clean and ready for us to enjoy ! Beautiful views of the ocean and beach from all 3 levels, and a well maintained pool and backyard with lounge chairs and anything and everything for a great time outdoors at the house if you weren't heading to the beach. Inside the kitchen was labeled and well stocked with just about anything your chef may desire. With refrigerators on every level there were plenty of places to store your food and drinks too. I would recommend this vacation home to everyone who wants a nice, clean and obviously well cared for place to enjoy their time at the Outer Banks !!!
