About this condo rental
Sunshine Village #142 is a 2 story condo in the heart of town within walking distance to several grocery stores and restaurants. The green line shuttle, a free service, stops nearby and travels to and from the Eagle Lodge and the Village. Hiking and biking trails, golfing, and exquisite shopping are all a short car ride away. You'll enter from the main floor where the living room has an expansive leather sectional couch placed in front of a flat-screen TV and stone fireplace. The fireplace is great after a chilly day of skiing and snowboarding. Set the perfect ambiance as you curl up on the couch. A DVD player and wifi are provided for your entertainment. There is plenty of counter space and updated appliances for a chef to prepare yummy treats and gourmet meals. 4 seats can be found at the breakfast bar. When dinner is ready to be served, call everyone over to the dining table with 6 more seats. Eat a home-cooked meal while spending quality time together. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom is furnished with a King bed, small sitting area, TV, and attached bathroom for privacy. The guest bedroom down the hall has a Queen bed, TV, and an attached bathroom. Upstairs is a lofted room perfect for the kids with 4 Twin beds. A third full bathroom is available for all guests to share. There are 2 outdoor parking spots and this home is on the 2nd floor of a condo building (stairs are required to enter the home). The shared clubhouse has a game room and laundry facilities are available for longer visits. The tennis court and BBQ stations are only open during the summer. Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts. **We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.** TOT-05960-0086

The size of the condo was sufficient for our party of 7. The customer service over the phone was very helpful in answering questions and getting us a few house items like extra dishwasher soap, trash bags and fire packets, which was helpful being snowed in. Listed below are the things that were unsatisfactory from a cleanliness perspective etc.
Another issue we had was with the manager on site (pool resident). We realize that there are a lot of people coming in and out and needs being met however, his poor attitude towards us, and our children was unacceptable. He did not display any sort of extra kindness or helpfulness towards us, or other people who are also renting at the same time. He had a disposition that anything more than was necessary, was putting him out. He also used foul language, and having a conversation with her children when they were in the sauna.
Here are some examples of the condo uncleanliness and overall lack of maintenance :
The kitchen walls above the stove were literally dripping with grease, the cupboards were unclean We were left with only 1 trash bag , no dish rack and 2 dish towels, No cleaning products , the Dishwasher was inefficient with cleaning, the Upstairs Shower is mildewed, the Downstairs shower had no pressure or room.
Lack of blankets Upstairs/loft bedding needs comforter and upstairs under beds had leftover wrappers and trash.

This place is a bit outdated and nothing fancy, but it has 6 beds and a couch that could sleep 2 if needed. It's convenient to have that third bathroom in the loft, but the shower up there is tiny. All in all I would say that this place is a good value and it was perfect for our 6-person boys snowboarding tip to Mammoth.

Had a wonderful stay in Mammoth! Great location, not far from mountain. Hot tub was working great and the house was very cozy and comfortable for everyone!

At beginning when I booked this property, I am little bit worried about it as there's no latest reviews from the Vrbo for it. But when I checked-in my family and friends are really like it, and it's over our expectation.
There are several thing I want to highlight:
1) Property manage team: they are very helpful/friendly by providing the useful information, as I called serval times before check-in to confirm the cleanliness process; Day-1 the WiFi is not working properly, next morning when I called them, they assigned the IT staff to fix and leave a note on the door.
2) The whole property is a little bit old-style from the photos, but it's very clean and cozy. (Suggestion: re-take the photos for the bed room, with different angle it will be much better)
3) Very good location, one block size to VONS, and you can get everything you want from there.
Only one weak points:
1) The bath space in the main bedroom, is a little bit squeezed. It's hard to bend down to touch your toes. But it should be OK if use another two bath room.
Thank you again to manage team, I had a good time with the stay. And also hope this information are useful for other travelers.

If I could give negative star review, I would. Entering in the door of condo we noticed the place was very dated, it also wasn’t clean at all - food on floor, area rug dirty, black mold on shower/door, gross walls, etc. That is just what we saw on first glance as we were going back out. As we arrived back at condo it got worse, in the kitchen we noticed a 3” hole on the bottom of where the hot water heater was, as we were putting our children to bed in the loft we saw RAT DROPPINGS all along the walls. Clearly there were rodents staying there as well! We called the management company they stated they had nothing available to move us, but would send someone to clean the next day. Really! We grabbed all our things and left right away!
The condo clearly has rodents living there, and they think a cleaning can fix it. Not offering to find us a hotel, but stating for us to call our original vacation booking agency. Needless to say we ended up having to find our OWN accommodations (which was extremely challenging and expensive due to the entire city was sold out)! The next day we read a post from the same condo stating that the previous renters a week prior found a dead rodent in a trap at the condo and the only thing the management company said as they saw a photo of it was”disgusting”. It is more than disgusting-it is a Health Issue. They knew of this issue, but still never did anything before someone else came in. I would post photos with this review, but there is no option. Shame on the company’s that let this condo be on the list to rent out!

Great location and space.
We enjoyed our stay at the condo, large enough to fit 8 comfortably. Comfortable living space to hangout in after a long day on the mountain. Would recommend and stay again.
