About this house rental
3 bedroom, 2 bath home only steps from the Hiawassee River. Mountain home with breathtaking river views. Screened back porch with plenty of seating for friends and family. Deck on the river with a fire table. Sun porch with a swing bed for relaxing, reading, or sleeping. Open the windows to hear the soothing sounds of the river. Only 16 miles from downtown Helen, GA and just outside of downtown Hiawassee. We are also only about 20 miles from the casino in Murphy, NC. Flat screen TV's in master suite and living room. Gas log fireplace. Catch and release fishing allowed!! We'd love to have you in our home. Check in is 4pm and Check out is 11am.

Much more than just a cabin in the mountains. We made ourselves comfortable in this perfect home beside the quick-running Hiawassee River.

The cabin was beautiful and right on the river, couldn’t have asked for anything better.
Our trip was very relaxing, all the Christmas decorations they put up really made it feel extra special & magical! Hoping to stay there again in the future!

The house was perfect and so comfortable; the thought put into everything was wonderful! Enjoyed the swing bed with the sound of the creek. The only thing mussing was coffee, so just make sure to bring some. But the Christmas decorations and outdoor lights were very beautiful

Great house for relaxing. It rained during our whole stay but the house/screened back porch was very comfy with plenty of seating areas. Visited Always Christmas in Hiawassee and spent time walking around Helen.

The place was perfect for our family. The Xmas decorations were the cherry on the top. When we needed a bit of information, the owners responded immediately. Just a fabulous experience.

My little family couldn’t of enjoyed a better place ! The home was so clean, beautiful , and we felt right at home . The view of the river and hearing the water running over the rocks was priceless . We highly recommend and we will most definitely be back .

We love this property. This was our third time staying here. Our grandsons (18 & 20) love the closeness to the river and the peaceful atmosphere of the location. It is also close to a lot of activites in Helen and Hiawassee. We look forward to visiting again in the summer of 2024.

Beautiful house and location. We celebrated our twins 29 birthday with their spouses. The house was perfect as it was directly on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the screen porch listening to the river. Also great location for hiking and checking out wineries. We will be back.

The property was great! Very clean, roomy & well supplied. The only negatives I noticed was that the grill needs a new grate and the ice maker didn't make any ice even though we put the arm down but neither caused us any issues since we didn't grill anything and we had already bought a bag of ice on our way there. We all said we would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time during our stay. We took a weekend getaway to celebrate our youngest turning 4, and we loved the quietness of the neighborhood and the homey feel of the house. The location was perfect and we had everything we needed!

This was a birthday trip for our 12 year old granddaughter. The home was awesome and she loved the river. She caught a 4lb trout. Hope to stay here again.

Wonderful place to relax and catch up with friends. We are knitters, so we lnit while we talk and plan our next adventure. This is an excellent place and perfectly described. Everyone said they want to come back.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the screened in back porch and listening to the river. The neighborhood was very nice and clean, as well as the cabin. Just right for 2 couples.

Properly was very clean loved the house aand location. But it does need to be put in descriptions no loud talking , music lights etc after like 10 outside . Which wasnt really a problem for us but we liked sitting out on screen porch playing cards . Laughing etc but had to be quiet. After a certain time. Overall place was great. Clean and a beautiful home .

This was my 4th time here and I will be back! We brought a friend who was grieving the loss of her husband. Most of our time was spent on the screened porch, or by the fire pit relaxing. This is truly a peaceful place! Don’t miss this one!!!

Every evening sat in the swing and listened to river, each night had dinner at the house later on playing board games. Wonderful conversations with family. Mandi and TC were helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this mountain get away.

Everything about this property was perfect. It was clean, well stocked with whatever you need. The river being in the back yard was just icing on the cake. We will definitely be back. Thank you for allowing us to use your gorgeous home.

The house was great! Everything was furnished that we needed. The only fall back we had was that there were no TVs in the other bedrooms. Only TVs were in the living room and master bedroom. Also the lawn mowing guy came by to mow while we were there and he blew grass clippings all over my car.

My husband and I loved our stay here for our 17th wedding anniversary. The house is very clean and well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the eclectic decor was a wonderful touch to the overall appeal. It's an easy drive to Helen and downtown Hiawassee, as well as local wineries. Our kiddos even got to join us on our 3rd day and loved the screened in porch and the bed swing. We've already booked a return trip!

Great home right on the river. And by right on, I mean about 20 feet from the flowing waters. Spent a day working remotely from the porch with the sound of the river in the background. Walked the neighborhood one morning, waving to the lucky folks who live there. Highly recommended.

This home was perfect. It was very relaxing. The only problem I had was trying to decide whether to be on the back porch or the front rocking chairs to drink my coffee in the morning. It was such a peaceful place to go for a walk with the kids. And loved listening to the river. Unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough for us to get in the river as we had planned.

This place was so nice and a perfect place to gather. It had a well stocked kitchen and the location was perfect for short excursions. Plus being on the river was so relaxing. if it did have any minor fault, which was very minor, it was the beds were a tad too soft. We would book again.

The pictures online do not do this property justice! A couple of us ran Bald Mtn 5k, only a 20 drive. The back deck along the creek was a perfect location to relax at. Wish we had a couple more days to enjoy this cozy house.
