The house was in need of a good dusting and kitchen cleaning when we arrived. Also, the stovetop was broken; so we had to do all our cooking on 2 hot plates. The upstairs queen bedroom did not have a curtain on the big window on the door to the porch. Basement bedrooms had a stuffy smell.
On the plus side, the rooms were spacious with drawers and closets. Property management always responded quickly. (They did offer to send a cleaning crew out, but we declined.) The river access in the back yard was wonderful. We brought our paddle boards and connected with the Deschutes River. The kitchen had lots of stuff —a bit disorganized so it was hard to find things—but they did have a lot. Coffee maker was an automatic drip with basket filter. Location was good for our adventures. Restaurants in Bend are generally better than the Sunriver offerings.
Would I stay again? Definitely! The pluses definitely outweighed the couple minuses.

This house has plenty of room and something for everybody: an exquisite little river for early morning paddle, with mule deer, ducks, herons. A short paddle to the big Deschutes R. And numerous gorgeous mountain lakes a short drive away. Great deck and barbecue for friends to come for supper. Game room and ping pong, trails with river views. Easy access to Bend, plus Sunriver shopping and groceries 5 minutes away. We had so much fun that we never got over to see SHARC. Maybe next year!

We loved the space provided to spread out. Our adult family loved the deck area and the family game space. This home is located outside the main Sunriver area and provides a peaceful home to enjoy the natural beauty. Although the river water is cold, we enjoyed being able to access water so close.

Wonderful, large home right on the river. The interior is dated as other travelers have said, but the place is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for your stay. We especially enjoyed the game room on the first floor with ping pong table and foosball. One critique is that the yard itself is not really usable because it is not level and the grass is too tall. Not much room for lawn games.

The location is great, right on the Spring River. The house was plenty big enough for our group, lots of space four bedrooms and three bathrooms and two living areas. The view out the back is absolutely beautiful, the area is quiet and the deer are plentiful.
It would’ve been nice to have had some comfortable outdoor furniture. That would’ve made our stay just about perfect.

We loved the location right on the water. Great deck to hang out on and bbq. The home was spacious and had everything we needed.

The kitchen has very outdated stove that almost caused a fire -3 people came to check it and the electrician said it was unsafe to use- the burners would get so hot you could not cook on them. The oven would shut itself off unexpectedly- the chargers got so hot if in wall to long we had to take them out of the sockets. the circuit breakers would go off and when we needed to reset them a flash of electricity would spark up.Neither of the ice machines in the refrigerator worked and we had to buy ice or make it - it was 90 degrees so we used a lot of ice. The bar-b-que flavor bars were collapsed and corroded so my son who lived near by brought his for us to use. The huge deck had one small table on it and 4 chairs- the neighbors on both sides had beautiful patio furniture and umbrellas as the sun beats down on the deck a good part of the day- my son also brought us his chairs and a camp table to use. The rugs upstairs were filthy and the bathrooms have shag carpeting in them-there was no extra linens for the beds. There was tons of blankets and pillows but no pillow cases or sheets to use with them. I feel we should get money back for all the inconvenience we encountered. all in all we decided to enjoy our vacation and work around the lack of amenities.being on the river was wonderful and luckily my son provided us with canoes - standup boards and a kayak so we could paddle to the deschuttes which was fun. There were no boats or bikes provided. I am going to fight to get money back as I feel the price was way over what should have been charged with all the problems we had. One last thing ther

Beautiful area
We had a great trip. The area is beautiful. The house is dated, but comfortably fit our party of 10 (4 adults, 2 teens, 3 kids). The downstairs with the games/tv was great . My only complaint is that the upstairs of house was very dusty. Lots of sneezing/stuffy noses during our stay.

It was a quiet and peaceful (and safe from the virus) way to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday - which she greatly appreciated. It was also a completely satisfactory experience for Grandma who joined us. The serene surroundings, so close to nature suited us all.

Perfect for a long weekend getaway
Location was beautiful. House was just as advertised. The river right next to the house was amazing to have. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay!

Great location in SunRiver
We had 3 generations staying at this property with ages ranging from 4 to 80. The home was really spacious and there was enough space for everyone. We especially liked the location on the river. It was used daily for kayaking and paddle boarding. [side note about this river -- it's a feeder river into the Deschuttes which is a quick paddle away (maybe 3/4 mile). It was amazingly clear and clean - a really special place if you enjoy getting on the water]. The basement / play area was a real bonus for the kids. The home is older, but was clean and well maintained.

We loved our stay this house! It came with so many amenities/tools and we especially enjoyed the piano/foosball/ping pall table. Would definitely stay again!

Family Reunion in Sun River
The house was just as described and pictured on the site. It was perfect for our family as there was plenty of space for our 3 sets of adults and 2 small children. The downstairs level has a ping pong table and other games, as well as a TV, which were a big hit. It also worked out well to have the kids sleep downstairs with their parents as they slept and awakened on a different schedule and we all were able to rest. It was pretty cool downstairs at night but was warmed by a wood-burning stove. We really appreciated the stack of wood that was supplied by our host.
We enjoyed time on the large deck and its lovely view of a shallow river at the edge of the property. My grandson and I enjoyed walking down to visit the ducks on the river every day.
There's really not much within walking distance, but eateries and stores are a short drive away. The host supplied all appliances, cookware and dishes that we needed for our stay. It was a joy to have our family all around the large table together for our meals. We were very comfortable and had a great time.

Good location
Good location, the main level is dated. My biggest issue was with the carpet in the bathrooms! Like around the toilets, and in front of the shower and bath tub. Not hygienic. But the downstairs was nice, and had lots off activities for the kids.

Comfortable sunny getaway
This spacious home was a perfect place for our family and friends over four days in August. The adjoining Spring River was refreshing (some would say cold!) and clean, and the location gave great access to the Deschutes, Sunriver, and the nearby forest trails. The space, while dates, was as advertised, and while there were no fancy perks, what was provided was all perfect for our needs. Vacasa was incredibly quick and responsive, too, when the coffee pot broke. Thanks, Vacasa!
