This guest house is in a lovely neighborhood and just a short drive to all the attractions of Santa Fe. Tina has thought of everything you might possibly need and it is there for you. The place is clean, the bed and furniture are comfortable, the kitchen has great appliances…and a nice yard for your fur friend.

March was colder, cloudier, and windier in than usual, according to the locals. The radiant floor heat in the unit did not work properly for the first three weeks, but a supplemental space heater took the chill off most mornings. The unit adjoins the hosts' home so we were able to contact them easily when necessary. We loved having a walking trail within steps of the unit, connecting to the roads in the quiet subdivision. Lovely views of the mountains! Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well-provisioned. The location is quiet and safe, slightly north of town, but an easy drive to the plaza and museums, galleries, restaurants, etc.

This lovely Santa Fe style casita was a wonderful place to stay on the outskirts of Santa Fe. My dog and I enjoyed walking the trails that wandered over the hillsides just outside the door. It was well supplied with everything I needed. It was nicely furnished and it just felt good staying there. We could even walk to shopping if we felt like taking the time to walk. The hosts went above and beyond what was expected to make our stay nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I, along with our corgi, had a wonderful month-long stay at this property. Tina and Greg were gracious hosts! They responded very quickly to any questions we had. The home was gorgeous: spotlessly clean and the decor was perfectly "Santa Fe." We had everything we needed to be very comfortable for a month. The kitchen is awesome, with everything needed to cook as often as we wanted. The beds were comfy, the bathroom very nice, and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. This peaceful and quiet location was handy to wherever we wanted to go. It's just a few minutes to downtown Santa Fe and easy to access the highways to drive to Taos, the Turquoise Trail, or any of the other places we visited. Greg and Tina were wonderful. They were there if we needed them, but otherwise we rarely saw them. There was a slight problem with a pipe under the kitchen sink. This was quickly fixed. Tina and Greg graciously sent us a gift certificate to a local restaurant for bothering us with fixing the sink! This was a top-notch experience. I highly recommend staying here if you are fortunate enough to get to spend time in Santa Fe.

This is an amazing place, so beautiful and spotless. We spent two months here while I was in town teaching at St. John's College. Beautiful walking trails right out the back door for the dog, fenced yard, Santa Fe charm, beautiful and well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful second bedroom that I used as a study (great sunny space). We had a wonderful time, and it was so quiet. Greg and Tina are really great hosts; we had our space, and they were available when we needed something. Only thing that was difficult for us is that is a little complicated to get in and out of the neighborhood, because there is no way to get into town without getting on the highway. It is not far from town, but you definitely need to drive to get there and to plan who needs the car when. All of the positives far outweigh the minor inconvenience in location, especially the ample hiking right out your door and eight minutes drive to the best dog park on the planet (Frank Ortiz dog park). We would absolutely stay again!

When walking into Horned Toad Hollow after a six-day drive with our three dogs, our first reaction was that it felt like a retreat. It is handsome, with a high-ceilinged living room with comfortable leather sofa and chairs, a relaxing dining area and a kitchen as completely set up as we’ve ever encountered. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and we loved the bathroom and its skylight. (There’s one in the kitchen, too.) Plus, the house was so clean – and with its tile floors, easy to keep clean as well. Greg was an extremely accommodating host. We knew he was just an email or a phone call away, but except for a few times when we met him outside in the driveway, we didn’t see him. And that goes back to the feeling of the house and yard being a retreat. It is simply lovely. The location is perfect, too. We spent most days driving about an hour away in different directions, and no matter where we went, access to highways in all directions was an easy drive. Getting downtown or to grocery stores took about seven minutes, and it was always fun to take the drive back to the hills and quiet neighborhood overlooking the town. We can’t recommend Horned Toad Hollow with any more enthusiasm and hope to come back someday.
