About this villa rental
No better view on Amelia Island Plantation located in the Beach Walker community. This villa overlooks the Beach Walker pool and the ocean. The Beach Walker pool has recently been completely renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. The villa has Italian tile floors throughout. The wall colors are warm and rich and covered with original, decorative, photography and artwork by well known artists, including Clyde Butcher, Carl Brenders and Steve Johnson. The backside bedrooms each have a private balcony overlooking the island treetops and the Amelia River and have a wonderful view of the setting sun. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has two twin beds. These bedrooms have a common full bath. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bath and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen has been totally renovated. It is open and spacious and has Frigidaire appliances, including side by side fridge and convection oven with a flat top range. The ocean can be viewed from the kitchen, dining and living areas. There is a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean off the living area. As with all Beach Walker Villas, this villa has multiple floors and some stairs. May not be appropriate for guests with mobility challenges. You and your family will enjoy the quiet, relaxed atmosphere of the island, yet have all food, golf, and entertainment amenities. Summer rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. We have two grandchildren 9 & 7. We love it here --- great location --- bedrooms are set up perfectly for our family. Extra boogie boards and chairs were great. Kitchen all set up with everything you need. Pool is fantastic and beautiful --- beach and waves were great too. We will be back I am sure of it!!! Thanks, James!

Loved the location on the beach and the community is very nice and safe. The condo is spacious with 3 rooms and two bathrooms. Nice balcony to watch the ocean in the morning. Easy check in and check out process. Would stay there again!

Everything we needed was right there… property gorgeous and peaceful. The first night the AC wasn’t working and James immediately was on it. Very appreciated. Kitchen well stocked.. beds very comfortable and clean. Easy check in and out instructions. And what a gorgeous view!!

We had an issue upon arrival that James was quick to respond and get fixed.James was great to work with and very responsive. The condo was nice and as advertised. The location was ideal as was close to the pool and short boardwalk to the beach. The ocean views from the condo unit were amazing. My husband and boys were excited to see the huge tv upon arrival for watching the ga football game. The only downside being lack of parking. We had 2 cars with 2 designated drivers for gate check in. The unit had one guaranteed covered spot and found out later any others are a free for all. My husband was less than happy to miss first part of ga game as he had to drive around for 30 minutes one night looking for a spot to open up. Cars were parked in the roadway and making spots that weren’t meant for parking so parking wasn’t monitored. Overall great unit, awesome location, and we had a wonderful stay.

This is a 4 level condo and anyone with mobility issues should not book this property. This information is not in the owner provided description. The "back bedrooms" are actually on a lower level and the master is on a level even lower. There is not bathroom on the main living level. The condo isn't cleaned well and they even have a note on the refrigerator saying they don't deep clean between renters. There is mold and dust everywhere and I even had an empty water bottle left in one of the bedrooms.
I questioned the owner about the lack of multi-level description and he told me I hadn't let him know I had a person traveling with me with mobility issues and one of the 26 photos showed a tiny bit of stairs in the right side of the image. I had not noticed that. The view is lovely but the condo was not cleaned to my satisfaction or what I am used to as a frequent VRBO user and I definitely was disappointed with all the levels. I travel with my 86 yr old Aunt and it was a struggle to get her up and down the stairs. I only needed an acknowledgement from the owner that he needs to edit his description of the unit to include this information and basically he told me it was my fault because I didn't ask. Lesson learned, I will ask her forward but I will not be returning to this unit.

Beautiful condo with an excellent view. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Beach chairs and two bikes were available for our use. James was very attentive to any issues or questions we had about the condo and the surrounding area. Our family had a great and relaxing time.

The property was exactly as it appears in the photos. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the view fantastic. When you first enter the unit there is a large laundry room immediately off the foyer with two beach cruisers and a nice washer and dryer. There is also a smaller closet with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and even beach towels. The unit is just a few steps from the elevator which made moving in and out very easy.
The kitchen, dining and living rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and included a refrigerator with an ice-maker. There were both Keurig and drip coffee makers.The bedrooms had very comfortable beds with good linen.
The pool was very nice and only a short walk from the unit. The ocean is a short walk past the pool. Nearly everyday we saw many land tortoises and rabbits. The beach and pool were never crowded. The unit is close to shopping and a grocery store.

Truly enjoyed the time we had at the condo. The Omni property was great and the condo was excellent. We really enjoyed the time there. Watching the fireworks from the beach was a real highlight Thanks to Jim for his responsiveness for all of our questions.

The unit was in a great spot, close to pool and beach. Some other renters on the property had problems with AC not working and bugs, we did not have those issues. Our owner was easy to reach and told us to let him know if we had any problems which we did not.

Could not have asked for better accommodations for our family vacation. Beautiful views from a unit perfectly decorated. Access to beach superb and pool is extremely close. The hosts have considered everything to ensure a great experience. Description is 100% accurate This VRBO clearly deserves the frequent 5 star reviews and we are glad to provide one. Full views of the ocean were beautiful! Condo had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Three bedrooms accommodated 6 of us just fine. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

This is a lovely property in a great location. The owners were very easy to communicate with about the listing. We really enjoyed the time on the beach and the pool. Restaurants and mini golf are about a 15 minutes walk away. A short drive will take you to many shops and other restaurants. A wonderful place for a family to spend spring break!

My girlfriends and I had such a nice relaxing weekend at the property. It has easy access to the pool and to the beach. While the property is on the third floor, there is an elevator and a cart to get items up to the condo easily. The view from the condo is amazing. Communication with the property owner was easy and he was very responsive any time we had any questions.

This unit is perfect. Top level (3rd Floor) with views of the intercostal and beach from each sides. The unit had everything we needed and there were no wants. All three bedrooms are decorated very tastefully as is the whole unit to include all amenities. All balconies are arranged for extended comfort with benches, chairs and tables. Certainly appreciate James helping with a request we had. Would highly recommend this unit!

Beautiful condo in great location. Loved that it had everything you need including toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, spices, beach chairs and toys, etc. Just bring your own food and drinks! Very clean and comfortable beds. Has 3 levels with 4-5 steps between levels but wasn’t an issue for us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The location of the property is perfect. Very close to the Omni in Amelia Island. We were there for a wedding and being close to the center of most of the venues was important to us. It is a three bedroom condo and is quite dated. The rooms are very choppy and there are many, many stairs within the condo. Someone with a walker or wheelchair would not be able to stay there. There are also many Decorative items in the condo, which are nice however it reduces the available space. The check in process was horrible. I had contacted the property manager prior with a list of our drivers checking in, and had also physically discussed the names of the people that would be coming through the guard gate with the guard prior to their arrival. Even after doing all of that, it took one of our guests over an hour, from midnight to 1 AM to get through the guard gate. They had no record of them and therefore no gate pass, despite all of the pre-planning that we did. The guard told us that the only person who could issue a pass was the property owner and since he did not do so, they would not let our guests in. We had to call the Omni and artificially book a room so that they could get a pass issued, then cancel the room. Honestly, at that point I was ready to just leave. They had a two-year-old in the car which made things even worse. Despite the location, I would likely choose in the future a different condo for Amelia Island.

Stairs were a challenge for grandparents who live on island and wanted to visit family in condo otherwise accommodations were perfect for the family and everyone had a most enjoyable stay. Owner couldn't have been more accommodating.

Nice oceanfront vacation with family
View from the deck is beautiful! We loved the grounds and pool area. It is quite a hike to the pool and beach though, up and down over steps. This may be an issue if you have young children or people with mobility issues in your group. The condo met our needs well. The tile work was beautiful! Beds were comfortable. It felt a little small and cramped with the layout and some of the furniture being too big for the space. Definitely could use a deep clean! Overall we had a great time at Amelia Island.

Family Vacation
Very nice condo and the resort is great for for walking, running, and biking. Chairs were available to use as were bikes. The condo was well stocked with everything needed. It is a hike to the beach with a toddler, but other than that a perfect week.

Great Beachside condo!
We have come to AIP every year for the past 24 years! We have stayed in our share of condos. This condo is at the top 10% of our list. I LOVE the Spanish tile/decor! It was well stocked (kitchen, toiletries, towels, beach chairs, and even bikes) and very comfortable. TVs and internet speed was great (we had teenagers -so a must). Updated kitchen appliances were top notch. (I took a picture of the dishwasher so we could purchase the same.) Yes, there are lots of stairs - but that is how the condos at Beachwalker are - with multi level rooms. I look at it as a way to compensate for the hours of lazy naps I took on the beach! The pool was perfect and the beach was just steps away. Oh! And we also enjoyed the use of the charcoal grills on the boardwalk by the pool. Thank you for a much needed relaxing vacation!

Great Stay
Wonderful location. Super relaxing trip with very close access to pool and beach. The pool is absolutely gorgeous, and generally not busy. We were able to easily walk back and forth to the beach, pool, and condo for food/drinks multiple times a day. There are several restaurants on the property within easy walking or bike ride distance. The adults used the bikes provided and we brought our kids' bikes. There is also mini-golf, an island full of kid-friendly playgrounds/swings, and lots of bike paths. We also enjoyed downtown Fernadina one night, which was lovely. All in all, this is a great vacation spot for the perfect mix of rest and relaxation while still being close to food, drink and some simple entertainment. The host was super fast to respond to anything we needed, and the condo itself is clean, spacious, and has everything you need. We ate every meal on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous view!

Lovely setting. Main balcony faces ocean, other two balconies overlook a canopy of trees. Very convenient to beach.
Warm appealing decor, very comfortable. Everything functioned well, including WiFi.
Host was very accessible and gracious in helping Fedex a laptop we left behind.
