This location is perfect! If you are looking for a low key vibe this rental is for you! The beach was never crowded and absolutely beautiful! The cottage was very clean, and had everything you needed! We loved the extra garden shed filled with chairs, sand toys, beach wagon, bikes, games ect. We absolutely LOVED this location! It was great! The house was a short walk to the beach which was not over crowded with people! Would definitely stay here again!

Simple things matter when you are trying to escape daily life for just one week of the year! Unfortunately, this quaint little place, that has so much potential, is filled with neglect. -no warm water upon arrival, 36 hour response time from property manager in charge -dirty linens (towels, sheets) upon arrival (makes sense why we were able to get in 3 hours sooner than check time) -lots of ants around the home -low water pressure all week -dirty, uncomfortable furniture -did not run the ceiling fans due to layers of dust, similar to that of the AC vents Our 5th yr in AMI…never again here. ☹️

We really hated to leave!! But he cottage is adorable. It’s very well stocked. Beds are comfy. There are lots of beach toys/chairs. It rained quite a bit so we spent most nights having dinner in the screened in porch, which we loved! Thanks for allowing us to spend our vacation there!

Making memories

Located in a wonderful area on Anna Maria Island. The direct private beach access was so convenient. Sea Cottage, even though small in square feet is laid out in such a way that occupants never felt crowded. The pace on the island lends itself to a laid-back vibe. The golf cart rental was the perfect way to buzz around the island. We could not have asked for a better host. Kari was so responsive during the booking process and with any questions we had along the way. We are already talking about booking again!

Wr just spent 10 wonderful days at this property. It’s close to everything. Biking to many places is the best. I will say though that’s it’s not exactly gulf/beach front considering the walk to get to the beach. It’s a good 200 steps, but a lovely walk through a ‘rain forest’ like landscape and then through the dunes. If I’m on beachfront I want to see and hear the ocean. The sunsets were amazing. Don’t worry about beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, beach cart, towels, cooler, noodles, bikes, kyaks - this place has ALL of that. My only complaint is it could have been cleaner than it was. For the money to rent it, more detail should have been shown, especially to the back screened living area. We had a couple of concerns and all we did was text Kara, the property manager, and it was immediately taken care of. All in all, it’s a great place. The cleaners just need to be more attentive to detail.

This is the best place to relax instantly! We enjoyed the direct access to the beach including the possibility to swim, walk, watch all the animals or kayak between dolphins…. The house has everything we needed, the beach equipment was perfect, the outdoor shower is great and the garden is unique! Outstanding is the great communication with Kari. We stayed at Sea Garden over the Christmas holiday. The cottage was exactly as pictured, and as other reviews mention, was clean, well decorated, had everything you need, and in the most amazing location on the island. The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated some key staples like olive oil, salt & pepper, spices, etc. being available. Just outside is a shed with bikes & helmets, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, even 2 kayaks - truly amazing. Kari is the most gracious and responsive host! We can't wait to return!

House was even better than the photos and the location was perfect. The house had all of the beach toys you could need and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Kari gave us all of the info we needed, too. We look forward to coming back!

This was our second early December trip to AMI, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodations. My spouse actually found this place while we were on the island the previous year, and we booked it mostly based on location. In addition to the great location, the house was so comfortable, with the perfect amount of space for us with two adults and two young kids. The well stocked shed with really nice beach equipment and the outdoor shower really great for us, and we made full use of kitchen and grill, only eating out twice during our week stay. We plan to be back again and again. Thank you for making such a great place available.

This is our second time at this property. Beautiful surroundings, easy nature walk to the beach without getting on any roads, and a relaxing feel all around. Those managing the property are great at being in touch.

Property was great. In a beautiful part of AMI, with super easy private access to an almost empty beach! House had everything we needed; especially enjoyed the bikes and beach supplies.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was great and close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Outdoor shower was perfect, kitchen was nicely stocked, and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of beach chairs and bikes in the shed. Nice place!

Our family rented this house and the sister house nearby. Both houses were spotless, so nicely decorated and in the perfect location. We absolutely loved our stay!!!

This place is fantastic… clean, great amenities, proximity to beach, backyard ambiance, outdoor shower is a real perk! We loved it so much we will be back and we do not go anywhere more than once!

This is our second time in the property. The house is great; has everything you need and more. Impeccable clean, well organized, and ready to enjoy (including tons of beach stuff). The communication with the property manager was superb and quick always. The house has private direct access to beach which is very useful to enjoy the beautiful beach with 100% comfort. The beach is white sand and crystal water and mostly just for you and your family (since public access is distant). Hope to be back next year!

Truly an exceptional vacation. The host was very welcoming and made the home accommodating for a family of four. Provided all the necessary beach essentials. The outdoor shower was a plus! Will be returning next summer!

Awesome location with direct access to the beach. Short distance to shops and restaurants. It was perfect for my wife, two boys (7 and 9) and me. Very clean and everything was in perfect working condition. Definitely would stay here again.

Our Sea Garden cottage at AMI was amazing! It had all the necessary amenities with a lovely screened in porch in the back and direct access to a private beach. The host was very nice and easily available. We absolutely loved it and hope to return soon!!

Loved the location and house!

The cottage was immaculate and sooo charming! It is all updated. The furnishings and beds were clean and comfortable! Everything, I mean everything we needed or wanted was at our fingertips including beach supplies, bikes and kayaks. The outdoor shower was awesome! Walking through the grounds to a BEAUTIFUL private beach access and then to the beach was like walking through a fantasy. If you want a quiet get away, in a perfect location, this is your place! Kari was the best to deal with! She made everything seamless and easy! We really felt like we were at home!

The listing for this property doesn’t capture how incredible it is. From start to finish, it felt like our own place- welcoming, clean, fresh with everything we needed available to us. Having private beach access is where it’s at! We’ve already solidified our trip for next summer! I left my prescription sunglasses on the counter and they took great care of them and mailed them to me at no charge to me… who does that?! We’ve never been happier with anywhere we’ve stayed.

Perfect beach getaway.

This was the CUTEST beach house we've ever stayed in! It was extremely clean and well equipped with anything you might need on your stay. The beds were seriously the most comfortable beds we've stayed in while being at the beach. My husband and daughter LOVED the kayaks! We love the convenience of staying only footsteps to the beach. We also loved the tropical oasis Greenway that led to the beach. We will be back asap! My husband told me to leave a bad review so nobody would stay a day we could have it all to ourselves 😂 but I couldn't bare to do that! I don't have one negative thing to say. We were absolutely in love with this house and we felt like it was our home.

Sea Garden is a charming cottage, walking distance to a beautiful beach. The waters were warm and turquoise and soft friendly waves. The beach was perfect for long walks. I am handicapped and had no trouble at all using my rolling walker. The pathway to the beach was a delightful tropical experience, as were the bunnies that waited for us every morning, the lizards, the birds. Wide variety of fun beach toys and beach furniture. We never used the indoor shower as the outdoor one was so much fun! The beds were superb, kitchen very well stocked, there were lots of games, and the appliances all worked. The AC worked perfectly during out 90 plus weather. We used the screened in back porch a lot and it was a favorite place to sit. The neighborhood was quiet and everything about this place screamed "vacation"! We had to contact the owner, Kari, late at night, about how to work the TV and she quickly resolved the problem. Kari was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back. Sea Garden was a dream cottage vacation on the beach!

This was our third stay at Sea Garden Cottage and it was a great week! The weather was beautiful and staying at the cottage makes us feel like islanders! Groceries were the only thing that was not provided. The cottage has absolutely everything you need for a terrific beach week! The grounds are beautiful and we love watching the sunset from the Adirondack chairs. We are already looking at the calendar to book our next stay. Thank you for sharing this amazing property with us!
