Completely renovated lakefront chalet is the perfect get-a-way for family and friends. Located lakefront on charming Lake Harmony between Jack Frost, Big Boulder Ski Lodges, Split Rock Resort and just 10 minutes from Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony offers so much to offer year-round. 'Onalake' is perfect for vacations, long weekends, golf get aways, holidays, family gatherings, and reunions. This home has four bedrooms, a loft,, and a newly finished game room (with 65 inch and 50 Smart HDTVs) Two full living areas on three floors for you to spread-out. Our 29' x 16' deck with a table for eight and outdoor sofa and chairs overlook the crystal-clear lake, fully renovated kitchen with new appliances and a great room with a fireplace and a 60' Smart HDTV provides a great place for all to gather. With a large deck, dock, gas grill, gas fire table and fire pit, you will be sure to enjoy all four seasons here at 'Onalake.' The game room is newly updated, and includes a ping pong table, game table, 65 inch and 55 inch HD Smart TVs, games, books, an English dart board (bring your own darts) and foosball. The spacious walk out game room leads to the lake, where you will have your own personal dock for power boating, personal watercrafts, fishing, swimming and sunbathing! Our lakefront yard is perfect for volleyball or wiffle ball. Great fishing right from the private dock. Walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants! Easy access to our home and amenities for physically challenged and elderly guests. Great time with family and friends! This house is set up perfectly for 2 families. Kids loved hanging in the lower level and we loved the fireplace on the main level. Owners were fantastic and we would definitely rent again!!

We were 4 couples & had a 3-night getaway at this great lakefront rental. We were able to push 2 twins together very easily to make a cali-king bed in the 3 twin bed bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked & nice newer appliances too. Best location being right on lake. 10 minute walk to Nicks for dinner & live music was great! Fun watching water skiers & wave runners going by. Kayaking was awesome. The only little thing was the Adirondack chairs in picture by firepit were not there. They had a couple of plastic upright chairs. But I had brought my own beach chairs to use. Very peaceful at night by firepit & lights reflecting on lake. We loved this rental! Def coming back!

My family visits Lake Harmony yearly and this is one of the best properties we've stayed at so far. The house is relatively modern, very clean and has lots of space/beds for everyone! They even had a crib (if you're bringing a baby along). The owners are very responsive.

Our first impression of OnALake was "can we buy it!?"
We loved everything about it. It was perfect for our 9-person party including 4 blended teens plus their guests.
The house was clean and very comfortable for all of us; and the beautiful lake front was perfect for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding.
Everything we needed was there including a fun game room including ping pong table and dart board.
Overall we all had a great time and we were all able to get together under one roof for a fantastic week together.

This is a beautiful house and mean even better location, on the water and walking distance to local bars and breakfast. Plenty to do within a 15 minute drive definitely kept us busy the entire weekend.
House was clean when we arrived aside from numerous spiderwebs outside but was overall very comfortable.
There was a lack of communication from the owners and last minute details about what isn't provided. The dock on property also needs a good amount of work and left me feeling uneasy about leaving my 19ft bowrider boat tied there all weekend.

We had a terrific 3-night mid-weeks stay with a total of 9 members of our extended family, including a 1 and 5 year old, converging in 3 cars from around the country to enjoy the amenities including boating and swimming at Onalake. We had missed the instructions to supply our own towels and linens, probably thrown off by the assurance that towels and linens were washed at >60 degrees C, but just in time we heard from the Sykes that we could rent what we needed from Poconos Linen Service, which came through magnificently. The air conditioning worked well, we had most of what we needed in the kitchen, which has nice appliances including a spare giant refrigerator in the basement, and we enjoyed eating most of our meals on the deck. The charcoal grill works, but one must be prepared for slow cooking. Lake Harmony itself has a surprising (to me) number of active power boats, jet skiers, and water skiers, but otherwise the location is quiet and peaceful, with no noise once inside. We were impressed that the house was so well maintained, that the water was filtered, that parking was easy, and that there was so much comfortable seating inside and out. It is easy to give Onalake the highest rating.

We rented here as a Christmas gift to our parents with our extended family. We really enjoyed the deck, fire pit, swimming area and large yard for games. Only suggestion is better pillows. Not very comfortable. We had a great time!

Owners were accessible to answering questions up to check in, however we left a couple messages following check in via VRBO app and never received a response.
Home is situated directly on the lake and walking accessible to several nice restaurants/bars.
Home was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. Closet space on main floor / bedroom was limited due to storage of outdoor items and other aspects. We weren’t able to enjoy outdoor spaces as the weather wasn’t ideal. Overall the rental is true to listing.

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend celebrating the end of one chapter of my daughter's life and the beginning of another. The house was very clean and cozy! We had everything we needed right there. I'd definitely go back if I had the chance.

Great for a weekend getaway
Rented this property for a ski trip over presidents weekend. The location was 5 stars. The four bedrooms fit 8 adults comfortably however the loft area with a futon is not very private if you are looking to use that as another “bedroom”. The home looks exactly like the pictures so we knew what we were getting! Overall a great stay and and hosts were very responsive! :)

Easter Weekend Getaway
I cannot say enough wonderful things about both the property and Jim and Anne! We rented the house as a last minute Easter getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The house had so much space for two families including all teenagers and fun was had by all. We especially loved that everything you needed was literally down the road. When you are able to make the teens happy then you know it was a great time! Jim and Anne were so helpful and responsive and we will definitely be back!
