AS PUBLIC OR PRIVATE AS YOU LIKE! ENHANCED CLEANING/SANITIZING PRACTICES IN EFFECT. CLEANING PERSON WITH 20+ YEARS WORKING IN HOSPITAL. Come enjoy this 2100 sq. ft. guest house on the lake at beautiful Holly Lake Ranch just north of Tyler in the rolling hills and forests of East Texas. All fully furnished to make your stay relaxing. You can enjoy the lake view from the rocking chairs on the full length back porch; bring your boat for all the fun of the lake. The clubhouse for the 18 hole golf course is only a block away. Fishing is great on the two private lakes as well. Something for everyone!! Plan a visit to First Monday in Canton or visit Gladewater the Antique Capital of East Texas only 25 miles away. We are located in the heart of the Piney Woods Wine Trail with several wineries only a short drive away. It is only 30 miles to Tyler (45 min to Longview) for shopping, dining, movies, etc. An enormous variety of birds are on the property year round or migrating through. You might even see one of our magnificent bald eagles soaring over the lake or golf course! If you need some down time, relax in a rocker on the back porch and gaze at our peaceful lake, beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Come and visit us and we are sure to see you again next year in our part of beautiful East Texas. Enjoy our Outdoor Patio, Pergola and Fire Pit on the lake. Plan to enjoy an evening under the stars by the fire toasting marshmallows and telling tales. GOLFERS – Our pro and his staff are constantly working to make the course better and better. The improvements are noticeable making for a fun and challenging round of golf. BOATS FREE! Two man, trolling motor powered, flat bottom boat and a canoe are available for guest usage free with signed liability waiver. Usage subject to availability. RENTAL! A pontoon boat for cruising the lake! Room for 8 - 10 people for a fun day on the water. Not a speed boat, but towing of the little ones on tube is a possibility. Great for Crappie fishing! Not the best bass boat, but equipped with a trolling motor, two fishing seats each front and back and adequate in a pinch. Inquire if you are interested and we can send you rates and details. NOTE: A daily fee may apply for launching/operating your private boat, jet ski, etc on the lake. Check with owner before booking if this is important to you. Take advantage of the lower Sunday to Wednesday rates for extending your stay or to take advantage of a lower cost trip if coming during the week works for your group. (Most stays.)

Our family met here to spend time together during the holidays. We absolutely loved the property. My grandson said he wished we lived there. The peaceful tranquility of enjoying coffee on the porch and looking out across the lake early each morning was wonderful. We played games, laughed a lot, ate way too much and made lasting memories. Our hosts were so warm and welcoming. We are already talking about our next visit.

I was unwell the first day so my family checked in without me. Our host were awesome. We were seeking quite and scenic, Great Lake view. We sat by the fire by the lake. It rained several days so we played games. Wonderful family time. My 4 year old grandson caught his first fish. My 2 year grandson loved working the puzzles found in the drawer.

Spacious guesthouse. Neighborhood is upscale, beautiful, quiet, and the property is very close to the lake. Enjoyable to sit on the porch and relax with our friends. Nicely furnished and decorated and everything needed for our weekend stay. Good Internet access. Owner was easy to communicate with and available if needed. Bottom line, we give this property a five star rating!

We had such a wonderful time at this guest house! Although it’s a guest house, it housed us, our two littles, best friends and their littles. Mr Dossey is detailed in directions and communications. Making everything easy to access. We all enjoyed this escape for the end of summer. The beach access to the lake is good for little swimmers and the dock provided many opportunities for cannonballs. The view of the lake is mesmerizing and you could sit there at any time of the day/night and get lost in the sound or stillness of the waves. We had a fabulous time and created memories here that will last a lifetime!

The photos don't begin to convey the peacefulness of this property! The guesthouse sits right next to the water, so it is wonderful to look out to the lake from both the living area as well as the dining area. I loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoying the view out on the lake. Even though it was warm, there was a bit of a breeze and there were no mosquitoes. We took the boat out around the lake and enjoyed seeing the homes on the other side of the lake.
Dennis and Melanie were amazing hosts, answering all our questions and having everything ready for our visit. The guesthouse has a well supplied kitchen and bathrooms. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this property!

This was our 2nd time here and they didnt disappoint. This property is amazing. We came back for the tranquility and view of the property. It was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. The property owners are very sweet and personable people who communicate very well and they aways made themselves available to us. From the house to the boat, it was one fantastic much needed trip away, and we cant wait to return.

The water is just steps outside your door, and the community has a lot to offer. Not a lot of restaurant choices, but the food we had was great. We golfed, boated, swam in the pool and lake, played sand volleyball, and ate out. The lake is pretty small, but adequate for cruising around and swimming or fishing. Dennis was a great host and very hospitable and welcoming! Our whole group was very pleased!

I almost dont want to leave a review because it was such a wonderful property that I want to keep it all to ourselves. The guesthouse had great layout for the whole group, we loved having our own bathrooms. The view was spectacular from the rocking chairs on the back porch. Access to the crystal clear lake was easy with walk in and sandy bottom. This community is super family friendly and even kept 2 teenage girls entertained! Highly recommend and will certainly book again

Our family included 9 adults & 2 children, ages 2 and 4. We were all very pleased with the property and the amenities, as well as our friendly and helpful host, Dennis. The beds/bedding were quite comfortable, and the upstairs bedrooms were especially spacious. The view of the lake was amazing, and the porch rockers were ideal for relaxing throughout the day. We rented Dennis' pontoon, and used it to tow the kids around the lake. It wasn’t meant for speed, of course, but it was just right for youngsters new to tubing. We also enjoyed canoeing, a bit of fishing off the dock, the community pool, hot tub & mini-golf nearby. Although we stayed over Memorial Day wkend, the lake wasn’t crowded. The only drawback for us was the kitchen/dining area, which we found to be a bit cramped for our group of 11. We used the extra table on the porch to split up for main meals. I would recommend removing the curio cabinet in the dining room, to allow for more maneuvering. But the kitchen was clean & updated, with appliances in good working order. There were plenty of plates, platters, bowls, pots, pans & utensils, except for the teaspoon collection, which was down to a handful in number. I advise bringing your own beach towels, because it didn’t seem right to use the nicer shower towels at the pool/lake. Finally, I'd note that there are slopes & steps on the property, which can be challenging for arthritic knees. An awesome stay overall, & we would definitely return! Thank you, Dennis!

Mr Dossey was a very accommodating host, he even offered to help when we had mechanical issues on the way in. House was clean and extremely well appointed, They had about everything we needed including bug spray, a few fishing supplies, spices, soap, extra blankets etc. Would visit again- wouldnt mind to move in hahahaha

We had a little training/retreat weekend for our church's Nearly Wed Mentors this past weekend. When the Mentors reported back to me, they could not stop raving about how beautiful and perfect this house was! And Dennis was just the best.

The house is very comfortable and the location on the lake is awesome with beautiful sunrises! Great couches and recliner in the LR. We were able to sit 8 people at the kitchen table and snack bar next to it. Well stocked kitchen tools. Breezeway has an extra table and a porch swing. Great place to leave your outside gear and shoes.
Only 2 complaints....
1. The upstairs queen bed has an uncomfortable mattress. My son and daughter-in-law couldn't sleep well and had to go to couches.
The bedding, however, in all beds, was clean and comfortable.
2. There is an electrical problem with the light fixture over the kitchen table that needs repair.
Overall, we had a great time fishing, canoeing, golfing, playing games, and sitting around the outdoor fire.

We enjoyed smores on the firepit, fishing off the dock, a few boat rides, reading, coffee on the porch, game day at the activities center, and a meal at Whiskey's Restaurant & Bar (walking distance). Mr. & Mrs. Dossey are great hosts.

We so enjoyed our stay. Such an inviting home. There was so much to do but my favorite was enjoying the sunrise on the pack porch. We also had a great time fishing off the private dock. The hosts are amazing and so helpful. We highly recommend this rental.

We had such an amazing quick trip for our Dad’s 66th birthday weekend! We loved the place, proximity to the water, fully stocked house, access to the boat and restaurant within walking distance! We will for sure be back! The owner was spectacular to work with also!

This is a great place to reconnect with family and relax. The add amenities were awesome. There’s a pool, putt putt, and arcade. My family enjoyed everything about this place. The owner was very helpful and was there to answer any questions we had.

Wonderful retreat
We really enjoyed this lakefront retreat! Dennis and Melanie were amazing hosts and are readily available for any questions you may have. We really enjoyed the Pontoon that was available to rent as well. The property is beautiful and the Holly Lake community has all the amenities you would need for a fun vacation. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get away!

Family friendly fun!
This house is a true guest house next door to the main house where the owners live. It’s in a resort community with so many activities — pools, hiking trails, simple mini golf, a grill with an arcade, yard games like giant checkers and cornhole, and more. We easily fished off the dock, took kids in the canoe, roasted s’mores and had a great time!

Dennis and Melanie are wonderful hosts and this property is better than available pictures. Right on the water, golf course/restaurant in walking distance, and a pontoon available to rent. Great stay!!

Every year a group of 6 old school friends get together for a week of fishing, sharing memories and fun. Staying at Holly Lake Ranch location was the best over the other past 10 locations. Mr. Dossey was very professional, personable and informative. Great Location, clean and well stocked, along with great fishing.
