Situated in Mount Dora, this charming house for $158 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Casa Tranquila is our beautiful, peaceful, recently remodeled, newer home, located next to pristine, spring fed, Lake Joanna, just 3 miles from scenic downtown Mt.Dora. Enjoy the canoe (provided), swim, water ski, fish, on one of the best lakes in the State with access to private beach and boat launch. Relax by the enclosed pool or take the bicycles (4 provided) for a leisurely ride to Mt.Dora or Eustis. Fully furnished, with indoor or outdoor dining, grill, fire place, cable TVs in all three bedrooms, and free WiFi. Each queen size bed is topped with a cozy, hypo-allergenic, comforter, encased in a crisp, clean, duvet cover that is washed after every guest stay. The house is immaculately maintained. From the welcome brownies on the counter to the Christmas Tree in the living room, it felt like home.
Anything you may require to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, was provided by our hosts.
Unfortunately, we were not able to take advantage of the pool, due to the weather not cooperating, maybe next time.
For anyone from out of town, would strongly recommend a visit to Mount Dora.
Would highly recommend this property and hosts.

As usual from our last 4 visits the home is lovely. Clean, well stocked with many amenities. The layout and spaces work perfectly for us. The treat and flowers are always welcoming.
As women of advancing age there are three things we have discussed that would be beneficial and safer.
Footstools, safety bars in showers and pool and lastly a recliner.
We all thank you for sharing your home. Unfortunately none of our living arrangements are conducive to gatherings so it is important for us to reconnect.

This is the third time we've stayed here and we loved it every time. The house is beautiful, the hosts are wonderful, and the neighborhood is so peaceful. Caught fish in the lake every day. Close to Mt. Dora and Eustis. The coast is less than an hour away. Hope to get back here soon.

Mike and Debbie are a wonderful host , The property was impeccable , full of all details to make us feel like home , The pool was a plus , and the accommodations of this paradise was just perfect, from kitchen to the bedroom, bathroom and pool ,and even outside activities, like kayaking and bikes , this paradise is prepare for all , Love this house , we will definitely be back ,Thank you Mike and Debbie . Ohhh I almost forgot is a sweet welcome to this paradise from this host that I will leave as a surprise . ☺️

We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this rental! This property has every amenity you could possibly need and then some. Very clean and nicely decorated, great quiet neighborhood, wonderful pool and lake access. We will definitely be renting again.

This house was perfect for our family gathering! It is very tastefully decorated, clean and cozy! We felt comfortable and relaxed as soon as we stepped in. The pool and patio were used a lot! A big plus was the well stocked kitchen, misc bathroom amenities and recreational equipment. The location on Lake Joanna is beautiful! We really enjoyed the cute shops and restaurants of downtown Mt Dora, too. It was central to my parents house in Leesburg and to theme parks in Orlando. It was also convenient to both the Sanford and Orlando airports.We really don't think we could have done any better than this! We hope to return some day.

Third time staying here and wonderful as always. Really enjoy the house, pool and quiet neighborhood! Being close to Mt. Dora has been great and grocery, restaurants,etc. are so convenient. Our hosts are the best and have spoiled us with all of our requests!! Hope to see you next year!!

We were comfortable here for the month of March. For such a long stay we would have preferred at least one King bed, but the three bedrooms have only queen beds. The pool was small and clean, well maintained, but it was cold in March, and we did not use it much. We spoke with Mike about the garage door, and he had the motor replaced the very next day, with two remote buttons for cars. The house was remarkably clean, and it was well supplied. It is in a wooded area near a lake, and the access to the property is along a narrow black-topped lane with only a little lighting at night, This neighborhood is entirely safe, quiet and pleasant. Mike and Debbie have an acre of direct access to the lake, just down at the end of the lane, and I should have brought my fishing gear, because there a lot of bass there, since the lake is not available to the general public, and it is under-fished. One odd aspect of the rental is that the property does not have a USPS mail box. A PO rental box can be had at the Post Office in nearby Eustus, if we had wanted to forward mail. Delivery services such as UPS and FedEx deliver there well, but not USPS. There is plenty of wildlife here, and the tall forest trees provide plenty of shade. The photos in the listing give a good and accurate idea of the furnishings. I was glad to use the little desk,

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike and Debbie's place. It was so clean with all the necessities available. My kids loved the pool and I enjoyed all the lush greenery and quiet area. The canoe was a bonus and Mike and Debbie were very attentive. We'd definitely go back if we are in that area again!

Our stay in this beautiful place was perfect! The home is extremely clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and the lake is pristine! Our hosts, Mike and Debbie, could not have been more friendly and helpful! We will be returning next year for an even longer stay.

Wonderful home in quiet older neighborhood. Very clean with everything needed for your home away from home. Host had hot brownies and fresh cut flowers flowers on our arrival. Host are attentive to their guest making sure every need is meet. Many farm/flea markets within 5 miles. Boat tours, float plane rides. A wonderful week in this home.

Overall an excellent stay! The property managers were kind and available for any questions or concerns. The home was spacious, well decorated and very clean. There were small intentional details throughout the house that made the stay so much nicer.

What a lovely home for our stay in Eustis/Mt.Dora. This is a very comfortable and inviting home to stay in. Very nicely appointed, plenty of room and a beautiful yard and neighborhood. Our host and hostess know how to make you feel welcome. Excellent communication throughout the reservation process and during our stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much.

My summary of my experience won't do it justice because in several ways I'm speechless and/or words may not exist to tell you how it was, however, I will make an attempt. From the relaxing water sounds due to the fountain by the front door, ambience of hospitality due to the openness of the home, fresh flowers and fresh sweet bread goodies to a choice between 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms and comfortable furniture, the fully stocked kitchen and outside setting of the pool and the serenity of the green, lush plants behind it was a dream come true. I had days where I forgot what day it was. My friend and I stayed in almost everyday as Casa Tranquila called for a gentle return. Yoga/meditation by the pool was extra calming and drinking coffee/wine and reading by the pool was heavenly. The kids enjoyed the pool and fishing. We also got to meet our gracious hosts and it was a pleasure. It was everything we were looking for and more as it was truly relaxing. Thank you

House was extremely spacious and clean. Mike and Debbie were very attentive and checked in throughout our stay. Our daughter (two years old) loved the open layout of the house to be able to run around as well as the pool. The only feedback I have to future renters with infants that aren't yet mobile but enjoy to sit and play is to bring some sort of playmat. The house is nothing sort of perfect but does not have a lot of carpeted areas for an infant to sit. We were able to get a play mat and it worked wonderfully! Thank you, Mike and Debbie!
