Situated in Tampa, this attractive condo for $115 per night is a great choice for your next break. Looking for a getaway from it all but still in the heart of all the action? Look no further! The Perch on the Hillsborough River is a large studio apartment with a HUGE balcony on the second floor of a two story duplex house that overlooks the Hillsborough River. You are up among the trees overlooking the beautiful Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa. Our amazing balcony with views of downtown Tampa and the Hillsborough River is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The apartment features a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed and a living area with sofa that can turn into a twin bed. For longer stays, there is a washer and dryer for guest use. A few doors down you will find Rick's on the River marina, a great marina and restaurant! A 5 min drive across the river is the Armature works Pirate Water Taxi stop.....You’ll love all the great restaurants, nightlife, museums and parks that are all a beautiful boat ride away! The house sits on a compound on the river that is shared with two other vacation rentals ( property ID # 801363 and property ID # 642448). All three houses can be rented together if you have a large group of 10 people. Each vacation rental has its own entrance and is completely private, there is a shared private parking lot with plenty of room for your cars. The studio is in the center of everything Tampa has to offer- downtown Tampa,Ybor City, Channelside, Amalie Arena, the Tampa Convention Center, South Tampa, Busch Gardens, and Raymond James Stadium are all a 10 min drive from the house. Want a day trip to our world famous Gulf beaches? 45 minutes from the house are award winning beaches such as Ft Desoto Beach and Clearwater Beach. The apartment also has a large screen smart tv so you can directly access your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu accounts. It also has WIFI and basic cable. We have tried to think of every amenity from home to have while you are on vacation!

What a perfect cottage for two! The view was beautiful and we had the best time! We were there for a George Strait concert and enjoyed Ulele and Armature Works. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!♥️

Such a relaxing stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch especially in the mornings and evenings. The view of the river and Tampa skyline is beautiful. I would highly recommend this property. Lauren is very responsive with any questions. We will definitely be back! I miss it already.

The view was beautiful and the unit was decent. We ran out of toilet paper on day 2 so had to go buy some more. Bath towels are old, worn out and should be replaced. The people renting the other units on the property had a party. There was no parking available when I arrived and my sons car got blocked in from the party goers. Party was a little loud until midnight. Found a few ants in the bathroom and one on the bed on the day of our departure.

My boyfriend & I had a wonderful time staying here, it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The view is beautiful & we enjoyed sitting outside everyday watching all the boats go by! Lauren was very friendly & even was nice enough to say we could check in earlier if we liked since the rental was already ready for us. The neighborhood right by the rental is not the best but the property is gated so we still felt very safe staying there. It was also very close to downtown, Armature Works, the airport, among many other fun places to visit in the area which was great!

We had such a lovely time. Was worried as we approached the house as the neighborhood seemed rough. But then we arrived ♥️♥️ my favorite feature was the porch and view. A big big wow. So thankful we choose this house will be booking this place again

This was our second year at this rental. We spent 8 nights and wish it could have been more. We are already booked for next year. The view from the deck is the selling point. Mornings having coffee and breakfast and watching the boats go by on the river...it is so peaceful. The view of the Tampa skyline is amazing, especially at night. The surrounding neighborhood is a little run down, but this is a gated bungalow so we never felt uneasy. In fact, Rick's on the River, a great restaurant, is within walking distance and we walked it and felt safe. The location is less than 5 minutes from Hyde Park, a very nice area of Tampa for shopping. The studio apartment is very comfortable. We did have intermittent internet problems and had to keep resetting the router. I do not know if this was a problem with the internet provider or the apartment itself. Also, as we found out last year, the hot water in the shower does not last long, so you need to be quick about it. Neither of these issues were important to us. We love the place, the location, and Lauren is easy to deal with. We cannot wait to return.

A wonderful property that we would return to when in Tampa. Much better than staying in a hotel. Lauren, the property manager was responsive and helpful. Only a small nit, that the hot water supply didn't seem to last two showers. But we made that work by reducing the time. Highly recommended rental if in Tampa. And the Armature Works is very close (for meals).

The photo is spot on! Great, relaxing upper deck, on the river to view Tampa & boating. Songbirds cheerfully play in the trees with nice coastal breezes. One can also watch local & visiting Rowing Teams practice, Convenient drive to the Airport! ;-)

When we first arrived at the property we were treated with a beautiful view of the river and the Tampa skyline upon entering the house though we saw that there were no hangers in the closet so we had to go out and buy some. In the bathroom which
was on the small side there were only two bath towels they were dated and had holes in them as for the hand towels and face towels they were well past their prime and should’ve been replaced. The apartment was very clean and the view was worth every penny of the trip. Right after a heavy rain storm we were treated to one of the most beautiful rainbows that we had ever seen that reflected back onto the river. Within short walking distance was a bar restaurant call Rick‘s love the food there and the people were very good they were friendly and most entertaining we ate there several times and I love the oysters on the half shell. Overall it was a good experience the evening sitting outside and watching the bright lights of the Tampa skyline were inspiring to appoint and yes I would recommend this place for anyone going to the Tampa area.

The stay was was nice and we had a good time cooking in the kitchen. A few areas in the house needed a few touches, but regardless, we enjoyed it and was a nice place to come back to when we we’re out.

The listing is accurate. The bathroom wasn't too small like some say! It's narrow, but really plenty of room. The listing accurately says the property is shared with 3 total rentals. This does mean you have some reliance on other renters to be courteous, especially outside. However, inside, the insulation must be amazing! The inside is cute and well appointed. The area around the property is a little run down, and there aren't any real stores within walking distance, but that wasn't much of an issue for us. It appears the area is in the midst of revitalization. The property itself felt safe, comfy, well lit. I would stay here again for a few days. I didn't give cleanliness 5 stars because there was a good bit of disrepair on the deck (rot, paint, etc), and things lying about on the grounds (a tree and meter box was removed and left lying there, etc), but the inside was very clean!

Water taxi 5 min walk, took us to the River Walk that brought use to downtown. and the street car to Ybor City, Aquarium and Tampa Fine Arts. Watching the traffic on the river go by was always interesting and a bald eagle rested on the neighbors boat lift for a while.
