Old friends gathering. House was comfy and well appointed. Beds were good/memory foam. Internet worked. We were so busy we never even watched TV. Looking at the lake is great. Good bird watching from the living room. We'll be back!

The location was clean and homey. Beach theme throughout. Full kitchen with all amenities. This would be a wonderful Spring or Summer location for outdoor activities and the water. Plenty of room for large family. Close to town for Costco amd other markets and restaurants. Yet this location is in a very quiet area.

Mostly drove back and forth to astoria but enjoyed a drive on sunset beach and lewis and clark bational park. Hoyae was nice and cozy and pkenty of space.

Located halfway between Warrenton and Seaside, an ideal location for the NW Oregon Coast. (Big plus - Costco, Walmart, and Fred Meyer are only minutes away!) Enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the lake across the road. And the beach is just 1/4 mile away The home is very nice with plenty of space, and the friendly owners are right next door.

Used this property as home base for an 80th birthday party in Gearhart. It was an easy access and very serene.. The only issue we had was we could not figure out how to delete the closed caption on the TV. the words showed up right in the middle of the game. Dang. It has everything for a great stay.

John and Lorrie were amazing hosts. The house was very comfortable. They thought of everything a guest might need. Location was convenient to stores, restaurants, and beach. Our family enjoyed it so much we plan to return.

This was the best property we stayed at during our gamily road trip. We had plenty of room, good linnens and furniture. It was a dreamlike get away. Plenty of bird watching, sitting by the outdoor fire, with a view of a lake. Very relaxing! Wish we could of stayed longer. Plenty of things to go see and do.

We had such a wonderful stay at GGs Lake House. Everything was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of room for our group. John and Lorrie are the kindest hosts. John saw us trying to put together some crab traps that we bought and he loaned us some rope and floats and helped us set them up. Truly the best hosts! We loved the fire pit, the great front porch and we played a lot of corn hole on the lawn. We watched a bald eagle fly around most evenings, tons of Canadian geese and deer visited the yard. It was an easy walk to the beach and a great location. We look forward to returning! Thank you!

The house was in a quiet beautiful area. We were there for a family reunion and the kitchen was stocked with all we needed for preparing food. We needed to reach the owners at check in and they were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was very clean and we will definitely use them again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Hosts are great people. They live next store and were very friendly and nice. We saw bald eagles munching on giant carp, deer and great blue herons spearing perch. Kitchen is well stocked and the beach is a nice walk or super short drive. I highly recommend this place...just don't book it for when I want to be going next! 😉

The wife and I have stayed in many Vrbo homes. That being said, this one was the best so far. Not only did we get the nicest owners, this beautiful home is in the best location with all the amenities possible. Very spacious, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely seek this home out everytime we are in the area.

This is my second time staying here and it does not disappoint. It is close to everything and you have a drive on beach a block or so away. The wildlife you go see like deer and two bald eagles was amazing to watch. The owners were so helpful and great to get to know. I will be definitely renting again in the future.

This house was perfect for our family. It has 4 comfortable queen beds. Fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed watching all the nature right from the front porch. There is even a Bald Eagle that hangs out in the tree in the front of the house. Nice lake to go fishing or kayaking. We will definitely recommend and look forward fo staying again.

The property was facing a lovely lake. We got to sit out on the front porch almost every morning with our coffee watching the sun come up, and the wildlife (geese, ducks & a mysterious little critter, ... otter, maybe?) start their day. It was spacious, yet had a cozy family feel to it. Everything we needed was provided. We loved the electric fireplace in the living room and the automatic light that lit up the back entrance when we came home after dark. Beach was just a short walk. We will definitely be back.

Great location for our family to get together. Just a short walk to the beach! Living room is large and easy to gather and visit. Plenty of places to sleep and also close to town for activities. Would stay here again in the summer and utilize the outdoor space, picnic table, and fire pit right on the water!

The house and surroundings were great for our group reunion. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and could walk to the beach about 3/4 of a mile away. The house was well equipped with everything we needed.

The house was great! You are right on the river & really close to the beach. My husband is already making plans to stay again and bring his fishing pole. 😂. It’s right in between Astoria & Seaside made it easy to go shopping.

We were meeting up with family while in town for a highschool football game and came across this rental. Great location, close to Seaside and multiple beaches. Plenty of parking and easy to access. The lake was very tranquil and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the ducks and geese come and go, as well as the family of deer that frequented the area. The neighborhood was quiet, making it nice to listen to the birds. The house was exactly as advertised and everything that we needed was there. The bedding and towels were clean and there were plenty of extras if needed. We enjoyed playing some of the games that we found upstairs. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
