The Casita was perfect for our almost two week vacation in Santa Fe. The property is clean and modern. The private courtyard was also beautiful and comfortable. The owner was always accessible and very kind. We plan to stay at the Casita again on our next visit.

I loved this casita! It was clean and modern but also had that traditional casita look and feel. The outdoor courtyard is amazing and very private. The neighborhood is quiet and your minutes from everything in Santa Fe.

Location was great for us. We could walk into the Plaza, Canyon Road and the museum campus. We were close to stores like Trader Joe and CVS, important when staying for 4 weeks. The casita was very good for this long stay. We had our dog and there is a outdoor, enclosed area where she could go safely on her own. Alex was a very responsive host in every way.

We were given check in instructions but were never emailed a code for the door lock so we waited outside in our car for a response from the owner. The property covers basic needs but is not luxurious by any means. The bed is a queen, the couch is in need of a redo, and there are absolutely no frills provided but the heat worked well and our four night stay was okay. It accommodated our small dog which was our main request. We arrived in Santa Fe one day before our reservation and stayed at a hotel nearby which will be our first choice from now on.

We have happily stayed at the casita several times over the years. It’s always a treat. While on a quiet street it’s also close to many must do’s in SF. Clean, quiet, private and comfortable. Plus dog friendly with a great neighborhood to walk in and a small fenced in courtyard. Alex is a very responsive host and great communicator. We highly recommend his place!

the casita was very lovely and perfect for 2 people. we were working so it was very pleasant to come home to!! Alex was right there when we needed him !

This was a wonderful place. Beautifully appointed with an adorable enclosed patio, we loved this place. The location is great, close to the Plaza, though not walking distance, but better than that, it is close to a great park that our dogs loved. We had a super vacation.

Great location- welcoming host who was helpful if needed / quick trip to town- great space and kitchen/ & washer/ dryer- quiet neighborhood- close to shopping. Would stay again!

We loved many things about this lovely casita: it was easy to get to from several directions, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, the casita was spacious and comfortable, the little private courtyard was a wonderful place to relax, our host was kind and responded quickly to concerns, the bed and other furniture was comfortable, and we just felt at home there. Only two other comments: The listing indicates the property is downtown and it's actually a mile or so from the Plaza. Also, there were not adequate kitchen towels and dishwashing supplies to take care of our dishes over the several days we stayed. These did not diminish our enjoyment of the property, and we would love to stay there again when we return to Santa Fe!

We made a good choice renting this Casasita: price reasonable & with a 5 min drive to plaza & 35 min to Taos: perfect. Only complaint: the sofa sleeper & bed gave us a BACKACHE!! Thank goodness for ibuprofen!! We would pay more for nice beds and pillows. Other than mattresses and pillows, I would stay again and recommend to others

Alex is an exceptional host…he responded quickly and was readily available if we had a question. The casita is in a great location to easily visit Santa Fe and had everything we needed. We found the bed very comfortable, appreciated the two sink vanity in the bathroom, and the kitchen and appliances were perfect for in-home meals. Would definitely recommend this casita for anyone visiting the area.

My husband and our puppy spent a relaxing week at this casita. It is located on a quiet street in a nice residential neighborhood. Centrally located with easy access to all the Santa Fe sights and attractions. Lots of parks and gravel roads nearby to walk the dog. Our host was great, very accommodating and openly communicated with us prior to and during our stay. We cooked most of our meals at the casita and the kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed. We also worked remotely a little during our stay, and the internet was fast and reliable. For anyone looking to spend some time in Santa Fe, Madrid Casita is a great option.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights here over spring break. Easy access (on foot or by car) to Santa Fe and great home base for the area. The sleeper couch was comfy for the one person who slept there. Alex was a responsive host. I would stay there again for sure!

This casita was very cute and even more spacious than I expected. The neighborhood is very nice and it was very easy to get to all the points of interest.

The casita was lovely! It was very clean, modern and spacious inside, and while attached to Alex's home, it felt entirely private. The private (fenced-in) outside courtyard with chairs & table was one of my favorite things about this place and was so perfect for enjoying the sun. The casita has a full kitchen and the basics needed for cooking meals. The TV is set up with streaming capability, and the wifi worked well for remote working all day, including video calls. The casita is in a central location, and it was easy to get around by car, but I would definitely recommend bringing a car, as it would be more difficult to get around from here without one. The neighborhood is very quiet and private, but it isn't necessarily the best place to enjoy a walk as the streets are mostly gravel and lack sidewalks. Otherwise, the place was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again.

The casita was tastefully decorated and had all of the amenities of home. The beautiful private courtyard was a great place to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing. Alex greeted us and told us to contact him if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again!

This was a charming casita that was very comfortable. The location was perfect and the host, Alex, was welcoming and easily available if needed. We had “take out dinners” in the casita twice and it was just right for two couples. Though we didn’t spend time in the old town the casita is very close. We would definitely recommend this casita and will be back again soon.
